Description of Work: I wasn't impressed. I had a cheap deal from angie's list for a checkup of the furnace and a cleanup of the gas fireplace. The owner showed up, he was friendly and pleasant. I don't think he did much and I'm not sure what he did do was effective. Just not impressed and not confident. He really didn't do enough work here for me to really judge so I could be way off base.

Description of Work: The fireplace was examined. Found out that the flu was stuck & that there is a good chance that it would break off if its open/closed position is changed. The gas logs were found to be in good working condition. We were instructed on how to turn on/off gas control for logs. Also, found out that these gas logs are more for "show" than for heat. Better quality logs are needed if we want fireplace to heat the room.

He missed the initial appointment time, but did call at the very end of the time window to let me know he was running late. Once he arrived, he was very professional and patient. I had recently bought the house and never used the fireplace. It turned out it was broken and needed a new part. We scheduled another appointment and to make up for being late, he didn't charge me labor for the installation. He had an emergency furnace repair on the morning of the second appointment so was running a bit late there too. He did call and let me know. He was very knowledgeable and made suggestions regarding carbon monoxide monitors and what to do if there was a smell of gas.

Description of Work: I really liked the professionalism of this company. He figured out how to best deal with the GFI outlet that kept tripping due to bathroom moisture, which also tripped three other outlets in our house. He installed four separate GFIs to solve that problem, as well as replaced a faulty switch for another bathroom's fan. | |The serviceman performed the electrical replacements efficiently, and cleaned up after himself. | |I paid for the coupon for $89 for $279 worth of electrical work. After assessing our situation, and applying the discount, we paid $226. | |I really like this company and will definitely call them again for electrical work.

Description of Work: I have two furnaces the one is 6 years old the other 26 years old. I have them cleaned and serviced twice a year. I have had the same person for the last 8 years. He works for a commercial heating & cooling company they don't do residential. He is the son of a friend of mine. I saw Trinity's coupon and thought I would try it just for the cleaning. When he came to my older furnace, told me the heat exchanger had so many cracks in it that he wouldn't deem it save and didn't clean it and told me I should not turn it on for safety reasons. Six months prior when I had both furnaces cleaned and check they were fine. Before he left he did offer to give me a estimate on a new furnace and he could put it in the following week. I told him I would talk it over with my husband. Of course the next day I had the man I always used come over and check the furnace. He told me there was no cracks in the heat exchanger and showed me, also told me that he would have told me if I had a problem at any time. And he wouldn't have made anything towards a new furnace because he doesn't do residential, I'm sure when the time comes he will recommend someone. So no I did not like Trinity's deceptive tactics, especially scaring the crap out of you about dying in your sleep.

Description of Work: He did exactly what he said he was going to do. Inspected my gas fireplace. He seemed very thorough. | |He and I had a difference of opinion on the time. I had him scheduled between 8:30 and 10:30. When no one arrived or called by 11:30, I called him and left a message. He came around noon. Said nothing about my phone call. Called me upon leaving saying he just got my message and had me scheduled between 10:30 and 12:30. I disagreed with him. But it was water under the bridge. The work was completed, and he did a good job.
