Description of Work: I signed up for a "Big Deal" which offered a 20-point inspection from Trinity Heating and Cooling. I played phone tag a couple of times before getting connected with someone from Trinity. We were able to schedule an appointment, but a couple of days before the appointment I got a call asking if I had set one up yet. I confirmed yes, and gave the date and time. So I was a little concerned about someone showing up for the appointment, but a service person did arrive on time. | |I am not sure, but I do not think most of the indoor points on the 20-point inspection list happened. The service person didn't spend much time indoors where the blower and electrical unit is; some of that time was talking to me about services/repairs that I could have someone ELSE do for me. I don't believe the thermostat got looked at/calibrated. The service person spent more time outdoors, and did show me what I should be aware of with an aging AC unit, and how to keep the unit cleaned out over the summer.

Description of Work: It seems this company is a one person operation. It took several calls and voicemails to set up service. When weather forced us to cancel our appointment, I called and left a message to reschedule and after 3 business have yet to hear from him. I ended up getting my purchase refunded because I did not want to continue the extended game of phone tag with this company.

Description of Work: I was not happy with the responsiveness. Took several days to connect with a live person. Also promised to do some things that they did not do. Could have just been a bad experience for me. Dosent neccessarily equate to a bad experience for others.

Description of Work: Checkup done on gas fireplace. Provider was courteous and informative and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: I had purchased a service ck for my 5 y.o. central air/heat pump unit, plus it had a leak that needed to be tracked down, repaired, with new Freon added. They wanted to sell me a new system instead. Needless to say the work was not done as he couldn't guarantee that the repair would hold.

Description of Work: Found that contactor was bad on a 23 year old compressor. Recommended that we replace it but agreed to just get it going for now with a new contactor. Will use them to replace unit later this year.

Description of Work: Excellent work, average price, but EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE!!!!! Either didn't show or was "hours" late or took off and never got back with us. When we DID get him to respond to our calls, he would give us a time and then be 3-4 hours late! Very , Very unprofessional in this department!! He must not understand that MY TIME is valuable to me, also.

Description of Work: Inspection and cleaning of furnace. The guy showed up , told me my furnace was 23 years old and I should replace it. He could not give it a passing grade. My mistake was paying for an inspection when what I needed was a cleaning. He was here for 5 minutes. He did not clean it. Waste of money. They should state that they will not do inspections on older furnaces. The guy was polite. He did give me a free estimate to replace it. If we had gone with them I would have asked for the price to be deducted. We went with another company. I will never prepay for another service through Angie's list.

Description of Work: Checked fireplace - not personable and indicated my fireplace was old and i shouldn't expect too much. Quoted a price to fix it of several hundred dollars. Only thing serviced was the glass cleaned.

Description of Work: Nothing. Did not clean or fix my gas stove. Was supposed to call me back when he found a part for my stove. Did not call back.
