Description of Work: Checked fireplace, cleaned screen and glass. Was 2 hours late and when he called to say he was late he wanted to come on another day because it was near 5pm. I refused and had him still come that day.

Description of Work: Performed all services in the advertisement except...did not "tune-up" the fireplace. He rearranged logs, cleaned glass surface very nicely and tested the gas lighting.

Description of Work: Not sure about actual date of service. Had to call as we were waiting for him, he had forgotten or misplaced appt. time. When he arrived he was friendly. Apologized for confusion. Got on floor and looked in fireplace and up the chimney. Told us we could make woodburning fireplace but needed to remove gas line. Showed us where and how to do that. He said he would pass fireplace on main floor as woodburning and chimney was clear. Looked hardly used. Barely looked at insert and would not pass it. Nothing was cleaned, moved, or anything....just a quick peek! Had to call another fireplace/insert business to look at it all again. Were not passed on either and were left papers stating such. Didn't have anything left after short appt. with Trinity. Second person said chimney is totally blocked off on first floor, deemed non functioning. Second floor insert deemed non functional also. Two people, two opinions, two fees!

Description of Work: I PAID FOR A GAS FIREPLACE CHECK-UP. HE VACUUMED OUT SOME SOOT AND CHECKED CONNECTIONS WHICH TOOK JUST A FEW MINUTES, SAID SERVICE ALSO INCLUDED A FURNACE CHECK-UP, FOR THAT ONE I WATCHED AND HE ONLY LOOKED AT THINGS. HE DID GIVE ME SOME GOOD ADVICE ABOUT GETTING CARBON MONOXIDE DECTECTORS FOR OUR HOUSE ESPECIALLY SINCE WE HAVE A GAS FIREPLACE. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL, I DO THINK THE $49 CHARGE FOR THE SERVICE IS KIND OF A BOONDOGGLE, BUT HE DID WHAT HE SAID HE WOULD DO.
