Delivery was on time and went very smooth. Delivery men were very careful and knowledgeable. Dryer vent cleanout went very well also. We believe this part of the service was overpriced but we had agreed to it in advance since we did not want to take the extra time to find a better quote. In the future should we want this done again, we will shop around for a better price. Overall we were very pleased with the service from this company. Now we shall see if all the reviews on the Speed Queens live up to their reputation.

9/1/2016, technician came to house to look at our Whirlpool Cabrio Washer that was making a lot of noise on the spin cycle. The company told me it would cost $85 for inspection. A large, burly guy came in an announced, "you'll notice I didn't bring in my tool kit!". He then inspected the washer for about 45 seconds and said, "the bearings are blown and the cost of repair exceeds the value of unit". He also wrote that on the form. He said it would cost "over $700" and you can buy a new one for less than that and recommended a brand that his company sells but did tell us we could buy it at NFM, Best Buy and one other company. He had me write him a check for $85. My wife mentioned this encounter to a friend who suggested we try a company called Able Appliance Repair. They charge $9.99 for an inspection, and waive that if you go ahead with the repair. A really nice guy came out today and said we did indeed have burned out bearings and he could replace them for $375. He did that and it runs fine! I agree that it's early but it is totally quiet on the spin cycle.

Steve did an amazing job! He not only removed the doors (that had wires and hoses attached to them), but a couple of days later when we finally got the refrigerator moved into the residence, he got everything reassembled and hooked back up. He was very thorough, explained what he was doing, and gave great advice on how to deal with the appliance going forward. I would absolutely use him again on any appliance issue we have.

The serviceman was on time, very professional, completed needed work in a timely manner. Did a great job, but markup on parts seemed a little high.

This company is awesome. Their great customer service starts with the flexibility of scheduling appointments. Their team works with you to be as convenient as possible. Their technicians are very friendly and honest. They do not try to fix something that is not worth fixing. When it comes to repairs they are the best we have had experience with.

The process was easy! I called, got a quote, and set a time for them to come and they came two days after I called which was awesome! He asked me some questions about what the washing machine was/wasn't doing, he and his partner went down stairs, worked on it for an hour at most and now it works perfectly! (The washing machine wouldn't drain at first, and it wasn't clogged, then it wouldn't spin, and then after unplugging and plugging it back in, it wouldn't even turn on correctly, it made an odd buzzing sound and the lights wouldn't come on) They reset my machine with some adjusting I believe and now it works great! Thanks appliance care company!

I began this process by calling Electrolux and having their representative troubleshoot with me over the phone. They recommended a control board that I purchased directly from them. I then called The Appliance Care Company, one of Electrolux's authorized service providers. I chose them over others because of the courtesy and attention of the receptionist, and, as I was able to give them a 9-5 window for service, the cost of the diagnostic visit was significantly lower than for other authorized providers. (Cost listed above reflects the installation.) Brian was courteous and knowledgeable, and used tech support from Electrolux to verify his process and conclusions. He carefully explained what he was doing, what was wrong, and what would fix it. With the part on hand, the installation took place immediately. However, I learned that because it was not bought through him, there is no warranty. So there was a trade-off for the convenience.

Diagnosed problem as circuit board break. Repaired on site! Saved $300 by not having to buy new board Brien is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This man (shoot, I forgot to get his name) was exceptional. Knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of my questions. You can tell that this company is honest. Have them come out to do some work for you and you'll see. Part of the total I paid was to have him look at 3 different appliances I have problems with: The Dishwasher, the Food-garbage disposal & the dryer, so this price included everything. My Dryer sounds BETTER than it did before it went bad! Really excellent Service. I will definitely use this company again and recommend them to anyone who needs appliance work in their homes. I'm a very happy customer, plus the maintenance man's attitude was really really good. You can tell he loves his job. He's really good with people.

Previously, the technician from Appliance Care evaluated our current range hood. The fan was no longer working and needed a new motor. We decided to replace the range hood instead of repairing it. We bought a new range hood and the technician returned within a few days and installed it. The service was excellent and person who did the work knew exactly what he was doing. He was very friendly and punctual. We have used The Appliance Repair Company for a long time and highly recommend it.

It was great. Steve is friendly and knows exactly what he is doing.

Looked up on line, requested call. Received call next am. He was out in a couple hours and promptly diagnosed our problem. Will use them in the future. Highly recommend.

Steve identified the problem, had the part ordered and came back to install. He decided a different person should install, so two days later Charlie came and did it efficiently.

The repairman took out everything on the bottom two shelves and determined that I had not put the shelves back in exactly right after cleaning. The door has worked fine ever since, which is a good thing since the gasket is not replaceable (it's a low end model). An earlier appliance repairman from another company did not diagnose the problem correctly--it was not extremely obvious.

My window AC units had not been cleaned or service for at least 2 maybe 3 years? I called The Appliance Care Company on a friday and made an apt with their Customer Service person. This being a very busy time of year (July / Summer) for them and me not being available to meet on a saturday I had to wait until Monday for them to come out. The service fee for multiple units at one location was $85 and they would arrive between 9AM and 6PM. They would give me a call when they were done with their last job and call on the way to me with an ETA. If I wanted to pay a higher fee (approx $110 total vs $85) I could get a shorter window of 9-Noon or Noon-4PM I decided against this since I would be available all day monday. They told me if I missed the call from the technician I would miss my time and they couldn't guarantee an apt the same day - that made me nervous about the whole situation. However I did get the call and all was golden! Note: I have a large loft that is in downtown KC on a second floor and the larger AC units get very dirty being downtown and the availability to an outside hose / water is very limited. If you are in a house or unit is closer to a water hose then you will find an even better cleaning job provided by ACC. My loft location and lack of close water resulted in a little less than perfect cleaning job on the two larger units. That decision was mine, based on cost and budget for services provided. Once the technician Charlie arrived, he introduced himself and looked over all three A/C units. He told me what was wrong and gave me quotes for all three. I felt he was a little more expensive than what I had paid for in the past and he told me he wouldn't be the cheapest. However I really wanted them fixed and the smaller unit he gave me a price break since it was smaller and less work etc. The two larger units are heavy and takes two people to move and carry from the window location. He charged me $250 per unit to clean and did not wash them off cause he was by himself and could not easily carry them downstairs. However he did a great job getting the units clean and blowing cold in about 30 minutes. The smaller A/C unit I helped him lift out of the window and carry down the stairs to a garden hose where he spent considerable time (about 20 minutes) and attention making sure he got all the downtown dust and debris off the fan, coils and vents. He made sure not to spray water on the electronics and explained why and what he was doing. I could tell he was a true professional and took pride in the work he was performing. After the smaller unit was cleaned I helped him carry it back up to my office and he installed it back into the window. We let it run a while to make sure it was going to blow cold. I believe he said they offer a 90 day warranty on all repair work? Over all I am very happy about the work provided by Charlie and The Appliance Care Company and would hire them again! You get what you pay for and today I paid for cold air and the satisfaction of a quality job! A+

These folks are FANTASTIC!!!! Friendly on the phone and came to my house within 4 hours of making the call to them when everyone else was saying it would take a week. Cost of repair too high to pursue. (Expensive part.) Bought new washer from this business. Paid them to deliver and take away old one. Accepted guidance from technician and store as to which is best washer for what I wanted. Shopped a little on line, but didn't shop much. Cost on washer I selected seems pretty set from business to business.

The service man did a great job - quickly and efficiently. He was courteous and helpful, answering all our questions. He made the repair to minimize our cost - which for seniors with a fixed income was appreciated!

He quoted us the price including the service call and felt like it was a reasonable amount. We had him repair the machine and the whole process took less than an hour.
