Estimator arrived as expected but did not come to door. Was almost gone before I caught him and tried to explain details of the job that would have an impact on pricing. Estimator didn't seem concerned about some aspects of the job and in a hurry to complete the estimate. When finished, he put it in the mailbox instead of coming to the door to cover the project plan. Since the costs were higher then other estimates, I didn't have a good comfort level that the estimate was done correctly.

Very professional in all of our interactions with him and his crew. The crew was punctual, picked up after themselves, and stacked their gear every night. His estimate was spot-on with our expectations. The house looks great, and we have only noticed one very minor "skipper" on the house paint that we easily touched up and a few "drip runs" and streaks on the deck that are only noticeable if you are critiquing it and really don't bother us much at all. Overall, the house and deck look fantastic. I want to emphasize that my quality rating is relative to the cost incurred. We requested three estimates from different companies regarding our house painting. One came in around $10,000 or more. Kevin Turner's estimate was roughly $6000. And we never received the third estimate. We own a large house that was built during a time when a defective siding product was commonly used. As such, our house has "bubbling" siding in places, and we are fully aware that we will need to have all of the siding replaced on our home in the future. We were looking for a paint job that would last roughly the next 5-6 years when we would then do a full siding replacement. The company that provided the $10,000 estimate included costs for extensive siding replacement and enough caulk that the house would probably be able to float. We were convinced that they would do a thorough job, but we felt that the extensive task list was overkill for our immediate needs. Mr. Turner and his crew did a great job at the price point that we were expecting and satisfied our needs entirely. He and his crew are hard workers and do a great job at a fair price. What more can you ask for? The third estimate we never received was by a company that we were not confident with anyways, so no loss there...

EXCELLENT! Kevin and his crew were awesome. It is the "best paint job"! He also helped me pick colors. Everyday they cleaned the site and neatly stacked their ladders out of the way. The house looks great and I love that Kevin suggested we paint the garage doors a different color than the body of the house - it looks awesome! I am so pleased with the job they did and am proud of my house again!

They did an amazing job. His crew was quick! (a 2,500 square foot house in 3 DAYS) Every night they picked up their equipment and trash, and we didn't find one leftover piece of tape or trash when the job was done. If you have ever had work done on your home you will know - this is rare. The did the job right from start to finish, and we didn't feel like we had to babysit or remind them to do things at all. The repaired gutters, sealed cracks in the wood, hid wires, fixed siding along the way, and even made suggestions for us of things to fix that we hadn't even thought of - then fixed them without tacking on more money! We had 4-5 painters quote our house, and let me just say don't let all these A+ reviews scare you away. They know what they are doing, they do a great job, AND they are very reasonable in cost. We would definitely recommend Kevin and hire him again, and again.

Kevin and his crew did a great job. When I called him to schedule, he originally told me he was booked for a month but then I mentioned we had a contract to sell, he was able to fit us in. In fact, he started earlier than he said and was able to finish the whole job within three days. Kevin was easy to work with and would definitely use him again.

Painters were punctual, courteous and picked up their supplies each night. I even asked them to remove an exterior intercom by the front door as a last minute request and they didn't hesitate to accommodate this request. I originally was going to have all of the gutters painted around the house with a trim color. Kevin suggested that we have the gutters on the side and back in the same color as the house. I took his suggestion am glad we did. The wood rot repairs were well done. Excellent work!

Called Kevin Turner on a Friday to ask him if he could do a small job for me. He said he would be in the area the following Tuesday and would give me an estimate. He came on Tuesday morning and provided the estimate. I agreed with the estimate and they came Tuesday evening to scrape and prime the wood. I agreed to get the paint that night and they agreed to come back Wednesday afternoon to do the painting. They came back as planned and finished the painting. They did an excellent job and I couldn't have asked for better service from start to finish. I will certainly call them for my future painting needs.

Kevin came by to look at our home and provided us with an estimate. He did not require that I be there for the estimate so I never actually met him. He did respond promptly and provided his estimate in the timeframe that he said he would. I think we may have been a little bit out of the area where he normally works, so I really appreciated that he took the time to give us an estimate. We ultimately decided to go with a referral from a friend and did not use this company. If you are in his area and need an estimate, give him a call. He was very friendly and I really appreciated that he took the time to give us a bid.

Outstanding job in every way possible. Kevin is straight up and straight forward. He and his crew did a great job on my home. And my wife and I are very pleased. I would use his company again, and would recommend him to anyone. Really good.

Kevin and his crew were prompt and completed the painting in the time he stated he would. The paint job was nice. He guys broke two sets of blinds and multiple switch plates. When I pointed it out to him, he simply said if he'd caught it before I got there he would have replaced them while he was waiting for me. I don't understand why he didn't offer to go ahead and replace them. As I was cleaning the house (this is a rental) I found many places in bathrooms with paint on the floor and counter tops. I was able to scrub it off, but don't feel like I should have had to. In general, yes Kevin and his team did a good job painting my house. In the long run though they caused me more work cleaning up and fixing things that I shouldn't have had to given I hired "professional" painters.

Kevin Turner and his crew were prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and really helped me get everything done I needed as I was preparing my house for the market. The outside of the house and deck are beautiful, and they painted my kitchen on short notice when I realized it needed help quickly when the new granite countertops made my existing wall look really bad! Kevin noticed the small details that were needed to make the house look really great for its realtor pictures. My realtor was amazed when he saw the finished product. The price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Kevin Turner Painting!

I got 5 estimates from 5 different painters to paint my house. Kevin Turner is the one I chose. Not because he was cheaper ( he was not) but he just seemed to be the most honest and trustworthy. I had a good feeling about him and the reviews that I read. I made a wise choice. This was on April 9. Due to the weather and his other commitments Mr Turner started on my house on May 5. Mr. Turner and 1 of his crew arrived early on Monday 5/5/13. He did a very thorough job of power washing my house. He removed the storm windows and washed them and cleaned out the gutters. He then came back the next day and scraped the loose paint. My house had needed painted for several years so he definitely had his hands full!! He replaced the rotting wood himself. He came back and did the priming himself. I was very impressed that Mr. Turner worked right along with his crew. He worked as hard if not harder. All of his crew seemed very knowledgeable with the work and were very polite. They all worked very hard and did a fantastic job. One of the storm windows was cracked and Mr. Turner took it to the hardware store and paid to have it fixed. He told me this when they were done with the house. That certainly shows Mr. Turner has integrity. My house looks so good I can't believe it is the same house!!! My shed matches the house so you can understand why I am so pleased!! THANK YOU KEVIN TURNER!!! I would strongly recommend Mr. Turner to anybody.

I had an emergency, had to have my dining room painted the day before I moved out. Kevin dropped everything and came to the rescue. He had painted two bedrooms in my new house the day before and I told him my budget was spent, so when he did the emergency job he did not charge me anything.

Mr. Turner had painted the exterior of our home about six months ago. We were very pleased with that work (see prior review) and decided to use Mr. Turner again for the kitchen work.

Kevin and his crew were great. They spent a week. Beyond the painting they corrected prior work done by other contractors. The whole crew was professional the finished work was over our expections. Kevin advertises he treats your home as his own and he does.

The crew that came out to our house was friendly and courteous to us, and each other. They were well furnished with top of the line equipment and they all seemed to work very well together. Every day, until the job was finished, Kevin would spend considerable time working along with his crew and they seemed to actually enjoy having him around. A crew with a good work attitude doing a good job, just the kind of thing a homeowner wants but can rarely expect from a contractor. When Kevin occasionally left the crew on their own, they continued to work just as well as if he were there, but he would still check back periodically throughout the day to make sure progress and quality were meeting our expectations. He was always there at the end of the each day to tidy up his equipment and insure a thorough clean-up of the work site. Additionally, Kevin replaced / repaired a rotted wood panel in an area of the soffit, replaced a moulding on the side of one of the garage doors, and performed other work not included in the original bid, all without any extra charge for labor or materials. We liked Kevin and his crew's work quality so much, we contracted him to pressure wash and stain the two story deck on our house and the deck on another property. We look forward to doing more business with Kevin Turner Painting.

Kevin was punctual, courteous, knowledgeable. This job is for a home that I rent out. He even did some extra painting of the shutter and front door that the tenants pressured him to do, and did not charge more. The price was reasonable.

We contacted Kevin Turner via email (from Angie's List) to see if he repaired and waterproofed decks, since he was listed under "painters". He responded immediately that he does do that type of work and that he would come out for an estimate. He was here the next day and the estimate was reasonable for the repair work, power wash and waterproof stain of our deck. Kevin Turner Painting came out within a few days to power wash. They spent at least 4 hours on this and then began the repair work. After the deck was completely dry (just a few days), they painted on the waterproof stain. Kevin and his associates were extremely friendly, professional and the entire project was completed within about a week from the estimate. They were very thorough, and our deck looks great!! I would highly recommend this company!

Superior work!!!! And they do one job at a time, so there were no days where everyone disappeared.

I once painted my house because I thought no one could or would do better than I. Kevin Turner Painting proved me wrong. When I need another exterior painting, I won't even consider any other company. It was a great value!

The team that came out to our house was efficient and thorough. They introduced themselves upon arrival and were friendly each time they encountered me or my family. Kevin was on site every day for at least part of the day, usually working alongside his team and always making sure the work was done according to the agreed upon standards. Kevin returned phone calls quickly and was responsive to requests from me. He was very thorough, following up after the job was done to make sure that everything was completed as expected. I found a couple of minor things that had been overlooked, and someone came out the next day to fix those items. When Spring came, the windows stuck shut a bit because of the humidity and Kevin was on his way to come and fix the problem when I got them open on my own. My only complaint would be that some of the painters smoke while they are working. This bothered me initially, but they were pretty good about smoking away from the house as they work and there was never really a problem with it. The crew cleaned up thoroughly each day, keeping my yard safe for my family and my dog, and they did an excellent clean-up when the job was done. The house looked great and Kevin and his team are great to work with. I would definitely recommend them to others!

Working with Kevin was excellent from start to finish. We called earlier in the year while we were getting estimates from a number of different companies. Kevin came the next day and spent a lot of time looking around the house and talking about the work that needed to be done. We immediately felt a level of trust with Kevin. His estimate wasn't the most detailed of the ones we received, but he felt that they wouldn't know for sure what needed to be done until after the powerwashing was done. While that made me a little nervous, we trusted Kevin and the great reviews enough to go ahead with the job after comparing the bid with others we received. Luckily, Kevin and company had an opening soon after we called, so we were able to get to work within a few days. They crew powerwashed on day one, then really got started after that. They did a LOT of prep work, which was great. Kevin did the majority of the wood work himself, including rebuilding some soffit areas, a few window sills, an exterior doorway., and some exterior paneling repairs. I'm ~so~ much more at ease about the house being "weatherproof" now that work has been done. The painting went great - they went above and beyond my expectations. They were very particular about making sure what we wanted painted in which colors, did a fantastic job all the way around, and we couldn't be more pleased. They cleaned up around the site every day, and were very friendly with the various pets that roam our neighborhood. I'll also mention that we threw Kevin a few curveballs. We had our front awnings painted with a metallic copper paint, which was a bit of an unknown area for us all. Kevin was great about picking up the paint (special trip), talking with the supplier about application, and dealing with our paranoia about the whole thing! Now that we've have some time to live with it, we're going to have Kevin come back and also paint our guttering copper as well. Overall, an outstanding experience - we love it, our neighbors are very complimentary, and we have a real piece of mind about a job well done. --UPDATE-- A year later and the house still looks fantastic! We haven't had any need to call Kevin for any kind of touchups, although he said to do so any time. Thanks again, Kevin and Crew!

Kevin Turner was excellent to work with from the beginning. I called on a Tuesday for an estimate and he came out that same day and left me one. I was not home when he looked at the house for the estimate so he called me and we discussed what needed to be done over the phone. I had very specific requests and he follow my instructions exactly. He and his crew were out that following Saturday and painted all day. The next day his crew came back and finished up. I had a surprise waiting for him that next day with a change I had made in my accent color which caused him to have to repaint some trim. He was very pleasant with my changes even though it caused him to be a little late getting to his next job. Their crew was very friendly and they all did a great job.

Excellent from start to finish. Could not be more pleased. The house was painted a dark blue and we chose lighter colors. There was rotten wood. The house needed exterior care and Kevin Turner and his team took care of all seamlessly. He definitely has years of painting and carpentry experience.
