Our house was in dire need of exterior painting. After researching Kevin Turner Painting and talking to Kevin personally, I knew he was the man for the job. Ours is a fairly large house and the job took seven days for Kevin and his three assistants. They removed all the gutters (which were to be replaced later by another company), removed all the storm windows, power washed the entire house, and scraped off all the peeling paint. Before painting, Kevin made a number of wood rot repairs, caulked where needed, repaired the front porch awning, reglazed a number of widows -- and even removed an unsightly old tv antenna from the highest part of the second story, During the painting, Kevin made a couple of suggestions which we agreed to that really improved our house's appearance, such has adding some shutters rather than trimming the doors and windows with an accent color. We were really impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of Kevin and his crew. We are extremely pleased with their work. And our house has never looked so good! We whole-heartedly recommend Kevin Turner Painting!

He and his team were punctual, neat and very professional. The work was done in a very timely manner and left the outside of the house cleaner and neater than they found it.

Very well. I had this done in late October, but luckily the weather was still warm and mostly dry. It took most of the week, and Kevin was present and working along with his crew much of the time. He doesn't provide a detailed contract beforehand, but since he lives in the neighborhood and has many good reviews, I wasn't too worried. I picked up some nails from the carpentry project on the patio afterward, but no big deal, and he was nice enough to trim the top of my cedar tree that I couldn't reach with my personal ladder. His crew also removed all my storm windows before painting, which gave me a chance to wash them for the first time in quite a while--some of them I can't get open from the inside.

It went great!....... Mr. Turner and his crew where wonderful. Very courteous and friendly. Did the work in timely manor. Our house had not been painted in many years. The paint was peeling and cracking. Most of the windows need to be reglazed. Several of window pains ere broken and needed replaced. Kevin and his team did a great job. Pressure washed the house and prepped for paining.They cleaned everything up after wards. They even painted my old shed with out me asking them too. All at a very reasonable price. Would recommend them to family and friends.

It was very easy working with Kevin, and he and his team did an excellent job painting and repairing our house. They arrived punctually every day until the job was done, even working on Saturday. The glazing on our wooden windows was in rough shape, and Kevin did a beautiful job reglazing and repainting them. They also power washed the vinyl siding on our house, and got off lots of stains that I'd been unable to remove no matter how hard I'd scrubbed. As many of the reviews here have noted, Kevin will go above and beyond to do the job right. He even painted an extra door and some extra trim that wasn't in the original quote, because he noticed they looked dingy when compared to the newly painted windows (and did so without tacking on additional charges, which I wouldn't have minded any way). Highly recommended!

They do exceptional work and did a beautiful job on our home. The team was very friendly and worked well together. Kevin was very friendly as well and explained everything to us before proceeding. It's been several months and our home still looks fantastic!

Kevin and his crew were very efficient. He came by and left stain colors as well as the estimate for work even though I was not able to be home to meet him. In order to do the job well he trimmed some bushes surrounding my deck and got rid of the yard waste. As the crew worked, he sent me pictures of the process and put the deck furniture back where it had been. The entire process was professional and immaculate. Kevin and his crew were very prompt, professional, and streamlined. He met with my husband and I and walked around the house with us to get the entire picture of what we were looking for. He recommended some repairs (wood rot areas)-which we took him up on- and shortly thereafter our house was power-washed and being painted! He and his crew cleaned up daily and continually checked in to make sure things were going as we desired. In addition to this, he removed excess wires which were running all over the outside of the house from unused landlines and cable companies. Overall we, to this day, are very pleased with the job that was performed. We would definitely recommend Kevin and his crew to anyone looking to freshen up their home's exterior!

They did an excellent job. They completed the work quickly and the price was right. They sent out a whole crew and sanded, sealed, and painted the exterior of my home.

We requested an Exterior whole house paint quote and minor wood rot repair for our approx. 4000 sq ft reverse story and half home. Kevin was prompt in his response to our request and provided our quote on site, and responded to all phone calls within 24 hours. Kevin Turner Painting carries the workers compensation insurance and general liability insurance that you should always request when contracting with any company. Kevin was very professional and comprehensive in his review of our job. Kevin was our low bid, but we ended up with a very unexpected high dollar mechanical replacement that prohibited us from proceeding with this paint job at this time.

I cannot say enough good things about Kevin Turner and his crew!! I found Kevin's company through Angie's List and after reading several glowing reviews about his work and his experience with older homes, I decided to contact him for a bid. He responded out to my address the very next day and, while I was at work, looked over my house and placed a bid in my mailbox. I have to admit, it was quite a bit more money than I had hoped to pay but, I knew my 1924 Craftsman needed a lot of work and so, my husband and I decided to go with Kevin Turner. I cannot express how glad I am that we did!! From the very beginning, Kevin went out of his way to do the very best job possible. The first day he and his crew worked it was rainy and cold, and they were out there all day for a solid 8 hours power washing my house. They then spent over 2 solid days just scraping paint, replacing rotten boards and siding, and prepping the house for painting. After over a week of prepping, painting, and dodging the sporadic rain storms, my little house was finally finished. If that had been all Kevin had done, it would have been great. But, it was all the other extra things that Kevin did that demonstrated how much pride he takes in the job that he does. First, I had this old crabapple tree that blocked half of the front of my house so Kevin said he would like to cut it down, if I would let him. I was thrilled!! I had been wanting that tree gone for years. So, he brought his chainsaw the next day, cut it down, chopped it up and had it hauled away. Then there was my sad, crooked steps on my back deck, he fixed those without me even asking. He took off an old satellite dish and all the random, wayward cables that went with it. He replaced 2 ceiling joists and the 2 posts on my front porch. He painted my front door and screen door and even painted a little wooden table on my front porch that was peeling badly. The old, ugly plastic gutters on my house were taken down, new fasciae boards put up and Kevin even arranged for a seamless guttering company to come out and give me a bid on new gutters!! I know I'm leaving some things out because, every day it seemed these little projects would come up and, without a second thought, Mr. Turner would just take care of them. It was such a relief to leave my precious house in his capable hands and have him work his magic. He is a true professional craftsman and was simply a pleasure to work with.

The entire job was fantastic. Kevin was punctual, reliable and great to work with. Kevin and his team did an outstanding job as our house turned out beautiful. The attention to detail was superb. They even sent pictures of the day's progress while I was at work. To top it off they left a new welcome mat by the front door when the finished painting the house. Kevin was quick in responding to our request for an estimate. The price was fair for the amount of work that needed to be done and we decided to go forward with his company. Not only were they timely, they also went above and beyond what I expected. They replaced pieces of wood siding that were beginning to rot, removed old cable and landline wires, trimmed some of our plants, and painted our house exactly as we had envisioned. At each step, Kevin kept us posted and always asked permission before doing things such as removing the wire. The crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves daily. The job was done over the course of just a few days and we adore the way our house looks now!

Possibly the best experience with a contractor I've ever had. We communicated via Angie's list, I described the problem and Kevin dropped by to take a look (without me needing to be in attendance, which was a great benefit to me). He gave me the quote online, said he'd come by some time the following week (again without me needing to be here) and as promised, completed the work. I came home one afternoon to find a small slip of paper in my front door which turned out to be the invoice. I went outside to take a look at the results and was just so delighted. Kevin had power washed the eaves which were grey with mildew/mold, and also did some unexpected painting touch up. The eaves literally look like new. The yard was clean and the only evidence that he'd even been there was some small leftover puddles of water. All this after I'd been given a gloom and doom kind of estimate from another provider in the vicinity of $2000 for the equivalent work (not to mention all of the additional work he scoped out for himself). Another reason to love Angie's List! And many thanks Kevin, for a job well done!

Kevin & his crew arrived on time, & completed the work according to his bid. He & his crew were polite & cleaned up at the conclusion of each day. The quality of his work & that of his crew was excellent. They worked hard each day & finished as scheduled. Will have him back to work in other areas of our house. These guys are "as advertised."

Kevin was FANTASTIC. Excellent service and very HONEST. We had a total change color on our house, including trim and doors.. He and his crew prepped the house by power washer and scraping, our house was very bad and the prep work was fantastic. He also re did our stairs on the back door. He and his crew are very talented. He and his went the extra mile in every way. Our house took longer than he anticipated but he did not rush to get it done. He is a perfectionist. His crew also painted some tables and pedestal's in our back yard for our patio, a nice touch and surprise!
