Description of Work: I have used this firm for quarterly pest control at my residence for a year and a half. When they call to schedule they show when expected, but sometimes they do not schedule within a calendar quarter.

Description of Work: They showed up on time but it really didn't matter because they couldn't do much. I have hardwood floors throughout my house and carpet in an upstairs walk-in closet and was told when they got there that they couldn't use their chemicals on our floors. No one asked me about my hardwood floors until this point... So I'd already paid and there wasn't much else I could do...He sprayed the basement, kitchen and part of a sun room (although he was so fast I never actually saw him spray anything). He also spent more than half of his visit educating me on brown recluse spiders. I had two babies at home and was trying to get them out the door so they wouldn't be exposed to the chemicals and he was trying to tell me about a plan I could buy with their company that would service my house every 3 months for these spiders. When I finally got to ask if he was worried about our house and the spiders he said well no, I didn't see any evidence. |I had also talked with someone on the phone about my concern of ants. When he got there he informed me that they didn't do anything for carpenter ants and that I needed to trim trees around my house. | |Honestly I've seen more bugs since they came. Not really worth my time.

Description of Work: Richard was great. He definitely knows his stuff. This was the 2nd visit to check the rodent stations and re-bait, a 3rd visit hopefully will do the trick to make sure they are gone. The service has solved my issue with mice and I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: I hired Best Pest Solutions to help with a mouse problem a tenant was having, using a "Big Deal" coupon. When I spoke with them initially, I asked questions about the chemicals and traps they would use inside (since there are pets and children), about sealing entry cracks on the outside, etc. They were courteous and helpful, and I was satisfied with their responses. After my call they came out promptly and were courteous with my tenants. However, despite our initial phone conversation discussing treatment of the whole house, I found that the first service I purchased only covered the inside of the home, and that I would need to purchase an additional service to have the outside treated. I did that and once again they came promptly. A month later I received another bill in the mail. When I phoned them about this "mistake", they explained that what they had done initially was to put out bait traps, and that in order for the initial service to have any effect, I would need to continue to have the traps serviced for an additional monthly fee. This was not what we had spoken about on the phone before the service. When I protested, they offered other options (quarterly, etc), but seemed surprised that I didn't know I was purchasing a monthly service. | |Just be aware that when you purchase a service from this company, you may not be getting as much as you think you are getting, and that there may be additional costs that you didn't anticipate. I will be going back to another company I have used before - aprox same cost (regular price), with no hidden fees or agendas.
