Wildwood Roofing & Construction

Took over two months for work to be done after contract signed and told it would be within a couple weeks maybe three if rain. Two dates of rescheduling one with having taken off work to be there and then them cancelling on the spot. Roof done by subcontractor which was fine except they didn't do several things Wildwood said they would do. More scheduling to fix things not done initially. Gutter guards damaged, had to be replaced, more scheduling. Lots of excuses and blaming, poor communication between company and client. Will not use again.

roof replacement went perfect. all done in one day. fascia and gutters another matter - this was subcontracted and the sub removed the gutters and that night had downpour which in turn flooded a portion of my basement. Word to wise, check weather forecasts! After several adjustments, all was completed to my satisfaction - just had to stay on top of them the whole time. The roofing crew was very good - they cleaned up well and did exactly what we agreed to in contract. Note this was in the middle of the May, 2015 hail storm that hit Wildwood.

Very friendly and professional. Workers arrived on time and worked hard. The protected my plants and other property. We had some minor problems but they resolved them to my satisfaction sometimes going above what they had to do. Most major projects will have problems, it is how they are resolved that matters. Wildwood Roofing gets an A+.

UPDATE 2: We ended up going with another roofing company, but it came down to things unrelated to our previous issues. Jared completely made up for the lack of communication we experienced in the beginning. UPDATE: Jared the owner has contacted us and is working to rectify the situation. I will update my review in full once we come to a conclusion. Not well. I am not impressed with their customer service or responsiveness at all.

I thought putting a new roof on my house would end up being a night mare. I was wrong. Very Wrong. I had other bids for my roof, and they were out of this world, for the type and style we needed. Plus this is not a big house. The person at wildwood roofing who offered us his bid; was low key, absolutely 0 pressure, very informative and calmly answered all our questions, as if we were talking to a good friend. He also, with out realizing it, came in 5000.00$ below all our other bids for exactly the same job! We were sold in a heartbeat. Jared's company is SO easy to work with. I had no problems with their scheduling [it was raining everyday this summer that I had to have my roof put up, so that delayed things a bit. However they put a tarp over my roof, till it could be shingled.] Jared is sharp and to the point and his main concern is giving his customers the best service and quality. You can tell right off that he is extremely experienced in dealing with customers and is quick to find a resolution for everyone. When I called my sales person, Nathan, he always answered the phone on the first ring and was primarily up to date on the details of my roofing. Wildwood Roofing is extremely professional and their service is excellent. The quality that we got from them is above the rim and I HIGHLY recommend anyone in the St Louis area, to use these guys as your roofers! More companies like that need to get a good foothold in the St Louis Economy and become a St Louis fixture. I will be going back to WIldwood Roofing for other services that they offer. WOW! AM I PLEASED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

8/16/15: UPDATE: Jared, the owner, reached out to me to apologize for the lack of follow-up, explaining that a local storm had put him extremely behind. He and I are currently working together to get my garage and house roof replaced. For now, I am changing the some of my initial ratings (all D's and F's) based upon Jared's willingness to make things right. I hope to make the ratings all A's in the future!!

Mike and his crew replaced our roof. He provided large size samples so I could get a good idea of how the new roof would match the house. They arrived on time and finished the job quicker than anticipated. They left the property very clean. Mike came out to inspect the work after the crew left and had a couple items redone prior to submitting his bill. We highly recommend Wildwood Roofing.

I contacted them to obtain a quote for a new roof. Scheduling was easy. They showed up on time. I reviewed what I was looking for and wanted. Price seem comparable to other quotes I received. The only reason why I did not choice them for the job was because they did not offer the specific shingle I was looking for.

They did a great job for us and we have referred others to them.

Wildwood Roofing and Exteriors installed a new roof on my home. I got 3 bids for my roof to be replaced, Wildwood being the middle company. The owners came out and provided me a detailed explanation on the entire process and of the products they offer. I was very impressed with their knowledge of the products and how thorough they were. They installed the roof in one day and the clean up was very good. The owner, Mike Grossman, came out and inspected the roof after it was completed and did a final walk around with me to ensure I was satisfied. I would highly recommend Wildwood Roofing and Exteriors.

Wildwood Roofing was great to work with. Jared Ball was very professional, extremely clear on what work was to be done, took his time to explain the different types of shingles, and gave us addresses of other houses that he did work on (to verify craftsmanship and shingle colors types). Jared worked around my schedule and the work was done in less than 1 day. The new roof looks great. I would most definitely use Wildwood Roofing for any future roofing needs. I highly recommend Wildwood for anyone looking for a roofing contractor.

We had a few shingles blow off in a wind storm. After starting to see wet spots on the ceiling we called out Wildwood to replace the shingles. The work was completed in 1 day and they matched the shingle color perfectly.

Their service was fast with excellent quality, and they followed up after a raining day to be sure that everything was good. I am very happy with the results and I would recomend their service to all my friends and Angie's list members.

I called for an estimate and they were out later that day to do a small repair and give me an estimate for replacing the roof. They made the repair on site when they arrived. We agreed on a price and a date for the replacement. I got a call a day or two later asking if it would be OK if they actually came out earlier than arranged to do the roof replacement. They showed up on time, worked all day and completed the project in 1 day. Clean up was great. They followed up with a call and letter to check how we liked the results. I would highly recommend them for any roofing job. They will be replacing the roof on another property in a few months.

It went great. From beginning to end - Wildwood provided great service at what I considered to be a good price. I would encourage you to consider them on your next project.

Beautifully! They were professional & reasonable. They cleaned up everything including going all around the house with a magnet to pick up any stray nails. I never found one after. They also reattached the satellite dish! I couldn't be more pleased & would recommend them highly!

Excellent work! My twenty five year old chimney now looks like new! The crew was very professional, orderly and punctual. Left the work site spotless! We are very happy with the work!

Absolutely terrific! Mike Grossman handled all the details and the completion of work on my home. He made sure it went smoothly and quickly responded to any emails or calls. I appreciate the fact that the area around my home was cleaned up so nicely following completion of each part of this job. Mike, was very attentive to our call and provided the service for replacing the gutter and downsprout very quickly to our request as due to crack in the gutter (storm damaged) water was falling over the windowseal. He is very professional and honest to the suggestions. I also used the company before for the roof repair in my house and this was their second service. I am going to use them again for the siding repair. The quotes are very competitive and service quality is very high. The best part is that the response time of the company is very quick and they are very attentive to make sure that the job is done to the perfection and satisfaction.

The damage to my flat roof was extensive. A storm came through and basically folded it over on itself like a blanket. Mike is incredibly personable. He had no issue driving out to my house to meet anytime there was a change in what had to be done. He communicated what was happening in a way I could understand and broke things down be cost of every material and labor cost. He also worked directly with the insurance company, which was appreciated since this was part of storm damage where I was working with many contractors. The workers came out and worked on the roof over 5 days. There were days where they showed up at 8 am and didn't leave until 7 pm. They were really conscious of the neighbors houses and did an incredible job of not having debris rain down outside of our yard. We were in constant contact with them and knew what was happening each day and approximately how long they would be there. When it came to clean up, they spent several hours sweeping up, filling a dumpster, and even went to the neighbors yard and cleaned up most of what landed there. When my neighbor complained that there was some debris in the gutter, Mike climbed on their roof and cleaned it out himself.

From the get go these guys were great. They Removed the old roof, replaced some of the decking (as requested by owner). Hauled away old material, and.cleaned up the yard. The big plus... they did it all in 1 Day. (house required 28 squares). Finally they beat one the big boy advertised price for new roofs by $1500 dollars Would I recommend these guys to anyone else.. YOU BET!!!!!!
