Description of Work: They delivered a dishwasher and stove. They removed the stove at no charge. I was remodeling my kitchen so they didn't connect the appliances. They matched prices from other dealers. They were on time and professional. I prefer using small businesses.

Description of Work: Bought appliances electric cook-top, microwave/oven combo, dishwasher, refrigerator all GE except cook-top Jenn Aire. Also we purchased think it was 2007 but that year wasn't offered. I ranked them well in all categories except Quality and that's a manufacturer issue. Gave a C for Quality because the DW, and cook-top lasted less than 5 yrs. |Their a small family business carry most major brands no real difference between most of them so they don't really have to sell. They will answer questions if you ask them. The only thing I would say is I think they could improve on their customer service skills just a little by acting a little more enthusiastic that your in their store. Especially when your buying entire kitchen of appliances. With that said the sale went well they did everything they said they would. They definitely had the lowest price in town including installation. Overall got what I wanted and have and would still recommend them.

 + -1 moreWe bought the refrigerator from them and the sales process was superb. We're very happy with the product. The delivery process went without a hitch. They were consciencious and polite. I had a problem with our home's water line to the fridge and Slyman recommended another company to fix the issue. However, the price Slyman quoted for the repair was off considerably from what that company quoted and delivered.

I typically do my research but got discouraged trying to sort through the voice mail directories of larger stores. Then I called Slyman. They have a real commitment to excellent communication and good pricing. I called on Tuesday and the new freezer was delivered Thursday at 8:00 in the morning. They took the old one away for no extra charge. We have bought several appliances there and mostly over the phone. I like to be able to call and talk to a real person!

 + -1 moreBeing happy with the response, price quote, and delivery and set up available, I called Jon Slyman back to complete the arrangements over the phone. We set up a delivery date. They came out today, and did an excellent job of installing my new appliances. I was at work, and my learning challenged sister was at home to take delivery. They were great with her. They explained very clearly so she could understand how to operate both the washer and dryer, explained the type of detergent needed for the new high efficiency washer, and got the first load going. They told her we could call anytime with any questions. I will be out near their store Monday, and plan on taking them a thank you gift!
Description of Work: Purchased new energy efficient washer and dryer. Due to physical limitations, I researched brands over the internet, then researched appliance sales on Angie's List. They were top rated. I emailed them with the model numbers and names of the washer and dryer that I liked, and they responded within 24 hours to say they had them in stock, gave me the price, and said they would deliver and install for free...including removal of my old washer and dryer!

 + -1 moreWe went in and told them what we wanted and how much money we wanted to spend. He sold us a very good mid-line dishwasher and oven. We bought them on a Friday and they put them in the following Monday. I can't say enough about how happy we are about their price and service. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone. They treated us very nicely as well.

 + -1 moreAfter shopping for four major kitchen appliances (range, refrigerator, dishwasher, over-range microwave) for several weeks at many different retailers, I walked into Slyman Bros., and with help of Jon Slyman, purchased all four within about 20 minutes. I was amazed at how easy the process was when dealing with someone who knows appliances. The appliances were delivered on time at no charge. There was a problem with the microwave, and it was replaced immediately, no questions asked. I would recommend Slyman Bros. to anyone needing to purchase appliances.
