Yuri was very professional from start to finish. He is energetic, down to business and gets the job done. I also like that he doesn't try to smooze or BS to get more business. Instead he provides competent, professional services in a courteous manner. Simply outstanding and highly recommended.

Yuri has made an investment in what appears to be a state of the art big white diesel powered duct cleaning truck. This provides the ample vacuum and compressed air power needed for the job. He seals the large vacuum hose in the duct system at the furnace/AC end and cleans the ducts from the vent end with a powered brush to loosen the dust/dirt and a high pressure compressed air cleaning head to dislodge remaining dust and debris to be sucked through the duct system and back to his truck. This negative pressure approach seems to minimize dust in the house. It was quickly obvious that Yuri is very knowledgeable of heating, cooling, water heaters, and other HVAC systems. In chatting with Yuri I learned that he is a civil engineer that wanted a business of his own and this is what he chose. In my condo the gas furnace/AC cooling coils as well as the gas water heater are in a small closet in the living area. Even with the confined space Yuri was able to gain full access to the cooling coil and duct system. As I feared the cooling coil, which hasn?t been seen by humans for many years, was a mess. It was covered in dust/?? and had crud growing in multiple places in this typically damp area. Yuri had to cut a hole in the cooling coil support to gain access to the blower side of the coil to clean that side also. Later he patched and sealed the hole with a sheet metal patch. He cleaned the coil and sprayed it with something to kill/r***** what was growing there. Cleaning this coil, its condensation drain hole, the furnace heat exchanger and the adjacent trunk duct was, I my opinion the most important part of the job. Yuri and his assistant put clean heavy cloth sheets down on the window sill, the path of the large vacuum hose, and area around the furnace/water heater. When they were finished they cleaned up with a shop vac. Yuri arrived about an hour late due to a transportation problem with his assistant; however Yuri cleaned my gas water heater burner/vent for no extra charge as compensation. As to overall value, I think the $340 was very reasonable for my 1,700 sq ft condo system. They appeared to be working efficiently and effort took over 5 hours.

They were excellent. The ducts had never been done before. The price was very fair.

They had come out when they said they would. There was a bunch of residual. When they came out and looked at it they realized that the ducts were never cleaned after the construction of the home back in 1994. When they checked out some of the vents in the basement they found some molds. It had gotten flooded a couple of times before we bought the house. Once they caught the mold they told us what we needed to do. It increased the price of the duct cleaning because we needed to treat the mold. They were confident enough to know that we could research things. So we had to go in there after he cleaned out everything and spray all of the duct work. They gave us a quote first. They were great and hardworking. They were very reasonably priced too. I was very impressed with them. They deal specifically with anything that has to do with air conditioning, heating, duct cleaning and so forth.

Yuri (owner) and his associate were running a little late for my appointment, but he made sure to call and tell me that. He and his associate were here for 5.5 hours working hard, but they got the job done. Yuri was very good about showing me the "before" before they did any work, and he made sure he got my approval before doing any extra work. He explained everything that he was going to do and why he had to do it. He also made sure he showed me the "after" to ensure I was satisfied with the work. He had a set price list for everything, but he didn't charge me in full for all the work that they did. Plus he honored the $10 Angieslist coupon. Because of the way my building is setup, he didn't charge me for the dryer vent cleaning because he needed a ladder to get on the roof, and he wasn't able to finish the job on the spot and couldn't guarantee the work if it wasn't finished. He was supposed to call me at a later time to setup an appointment to come back and finish that, but he forgot so I'll need to setup a time for him to come back and do that (hence the B for Responsiveness). Otherwise, he and his associate were very professional. They did leave a little bit of a mess (rust particles on floor, dirt smudges on kitchen floor from ladder), but they did vacuum up most of the major dirt and dust from the work, and the rest was easy to clean up. He did a h*** of a lot more to diagnose the problem spots of my A/C unit than the A/C guy did. For the vent cleaning and santizing, plus opening up my dryer and doing part of the dryer vent cleaning, plus taking apart my entire A/C unit and cleaning it of all the hair, dirt, and grime from over the years, $415 for 5.5 hours of hard work is a fair price. The budget companies don't do as thorough of a job. Both my dryer and my A/C are working a lot better now, and I'm confident this helped both appliances last longer. I would definitely hire PYM in the future. UPDATE (Oct 29, 2010): Yuri called to come by and thoroughly clean the dryer vent duct in the roof. He called before showing up with a 40-ft ladder to let us know they would be at my place within 20 min. He climbed up onto the roof and took pictures of the duct to show me. He explained exactly what he needed to do and got my permission before proceeding. He also took pictures of the vent afterwards to show me what it looked like when he was finished. He also gave me a discount on the usual price for dryer duct cleaning and honored again the Angie's List coupon (since I hadn't paid for previous dryer duct work). Yuri is very good about explaining what he needs to do and why he needs to do it. Both times he came by, he was courteous and professional. He takes his work and customer satisfaction seriously.

He walked me thru all of the steps on the phone, allayed my concerns about the value, was very patient. Then indicated he could come that day! which of course made me nervous. He said he wanted to take care of his Angie's list customers first and could postpone the work previously scheduled for that day. I left the house open for him to get in while we were at work and then stopped by, totally unannounced, at lunch. I was thrilled with what I saw - the care he took, the way the work was progressing, etc. He was at the house until almost 5pm to make sure everything was completed satisfactorily.

We originally hired him to clean the airducts and he gave us an estimate of $450.00. However, when he came to our house and started the job he discovered that our flue had rusted out and had a big hole. He replaced that and also cleaned the coils. We also asked him to clean the dryer vent too. So, it added to our cost but it was well worth it. He did a great job and I would use him again and recommend him to others.

Wow. I was definitely impressed and very happy with every aspect of the job. Yuri could not have been more professional, thorough, accommodating, and pleasant to work with. Ours was probably more involved than most jobs, but they still charged me the standard per duct rate Yuri quoted me in the beginning. They were so careful and tidy and conscientious...I couldn't have been happier. It's the kind of business you like to support - one that does everything they promise and beyond. The air quality in my home is noticeably better too!

Good. Yuri is a fast-paced individual who will engage in a conversation with you about a project, but also doesn't mess around when he is actually on the job. He and his co-worker were in and out within a day working mostly non-stop the entire time. Our ducts have probably never been cleaned and it was a dirty job. But the results were satisfying and the A/C installers even commented on the "good job they did." We would recommend PYM for your duct work cleaning job.

Things started off a bit rocky with Yuri, but we were very happy with end result. Yuri and Jeff spent almost 10 hours cleaning our air ducts and AC coils. They were very thorough and did a great job. We saw the inside of a few vents and they appeared very clean. They were very careful with their equipment when cleaning the ducts. They laid down sheets on the floor where the hose ran and protected the corners with shields. I think the job could have been completed in a shorter amount of time. Yuri is a talker. I found it hard to cut him off and communicate my requests at times. This is the first time we've had our ducts cleaned and I think Yuri felt that he needed to explain things in detail to us to justify his work. There were also a few misunderstandings. Yuri accused me of lying to him about the size of our house, which is 3800 square feet. He thought I said 3400 sq ft on the phone, but I pointed out to him that I said we had 34 vent and maybe he was confusing the two numbers. Like I said, things started off rocky and the manner in which he spoke to me was sometimes frustrating, which was why I rated the Professionalism category a "B". But in the end, Yuri and Jeff provided me with a great service at a fair price and I appreciated that. If I were to refer Yuri to others, I'd first mention the great work he did, but I'd also give them a heads up about the communication conflicts we had to help prevent them from occurring again.

I called PYM and was able to make an appointment within a few days. Yuri showed up on time evaluated the job and got right to work. He opened up the furnance to remove the blower fan and expose the AC evaporator coil (both of which he also cleaned) . Hooked up his suction hose ( I think he told me it moved 12,000 cfm (cubic feet per minute) to apply a negative force...he then started at the highest point in the system with air hoses with special attachments to loosen anything that wasn't nailed down so it could be sucked away into his vacuum truck. He did this to both the heat and coldl air returns...when that was done he cleaned and replaced the blower fan and cleaned the evaporator coil and he even cleaned up after himself ...I've had some of this kind of work done before by different companies in the past but never seen anyone do such a complete job with that kind of attention to detail....I was impressed....maybe not the cheapest but certainly one of the best!

We have two furnace that needed to be cleaned with this project and our air ducts. I was very pleased with them. They did very good work and they were very conscience.

They did a great job and were more than thorough. They were here over 8 hours (two of them) and were very professional. We would definitely use them again.

We called Yuri around 12:00 P.M. and he came around 2:00 P.M. the same day. He was professional and corrected our problem. Because of a room addition put on some years ago we recently discovered that the dryer was not vented correctly. Since it came out through the roof Yuri took pictures of the lint buildup and told us in detail what he was going to do. He really took the time to thoroughly explain to us how he was to correct our problem. He was careful to take off his shoes when he came into the house each time. I can't tell you how many repairmen have left messes to clean up after they are gone. Yuri was careful not to do this. We got his name off of Angie's List and definitely will use Pym again. In fact he will send a reminder when it is time to do the next cleaning. We definitely had a good experience with this company.

They arrived as scheduled, and did extensive air duct cleaning on the 55 year old house. They were knowledgeable about the construction of the old home.

I found PYM on Angie's list and I called Yuri and he was able to do the work on a day that I was at home. He showed up on time and spent the next six hours thoroughly cleaning my air ducts, furnace and A/C evaporator coils. I am the second owner of this house and I don't believe the ducts had been cleaned since the house was built 9 years ago. There was quite a bit of construction debris and general dirt in the ducts. Yuri is the most energetic guy I have ever met, he doesn't walk, he speed walks the entire day.

Yuri was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and courteous. He and Roman worked quickly and efficiently, doing a thorough job. It took about 6 hours.

This is a great example for excellent customer service! All work was done competently and thoroughly. Yuriy explained in detail everything that was done and invited inspection of his work. He welcomed all questions and answered them expertly. Yuriy and Roman inspected the house to note where all the vents were located and determine the best way to get the large vacuum hose to the furnace. They gained access through a basement window, carefully covering the opening and the shelves below the window. They also covered everything below the vents in the basement living area. The heat ducts, vents, furnace, and evaporator coils were all opened and inspected. The furnace blower and motor were removed and cleaned and lubricated. All vents were taken outside and washed. Then the ducts were cleaned with a truck mounted vacuum and air powered whipping brushes. Next, the evaporator coils were de-greased and power-washed. As they were putting the vent covers back on and cleaning up their equipment, they attached the vacuum hose to the duct-work and ran the furnace for 20-30 minutes to remove any remaining vapor from cleaning the coils. Everything was cleaned up and put back in place before they left.

I live in an old house and there are always lots of surprises. Until I read the reviews on Angie's list I was reluctant to do this work because I heard so many horror stories. I saw enough of what Yuri and his partner did to be confident they did what they were asked to do. In addition they worked carefully, professionally, and thoroughly. I'm very satisfied. In addition, when there were a few things that were important to consider either cleaning or replacing, they discussed with me the pros and cons of doing a. or b. I did some and not others. For example there was the issue of the furnace insulation where they pointed out that it would clean up adequately, or they could replace it. They indicated they thought it was fine to simply clean it, but they wanted me to see it. I'm very satisfied.

He protected the surfaces, routing up stairs (to protect corners) beyond my expectations. He worked a solid 10 hours without delay or dilly dallying. A little history, he provided services after major repairs as a result of a tree falling on our house. We had electricians, painters, carpenters, masons, roofers, siding installers, chimney repair and of the 20+ construction staff working on our home he and his partner were by far the most professional, most concerned and the friendliest. I am a customer service facilitator for a major corporation (over 2700 staff) and what Yuri does should be modeled by all business.

Excellent! I bought a foreclosure house yesterday and did not even have running water when they showed up. They helped me get the water turned and even helped clean up water that was overflowing in the house. They used a mirror to show me the vents before and after. They were incredibly thorough, respectful, and hard working. I highly recommend them!

I have used the same clothes dryer for 32 years (!) and have never had the duct cleaned; I decided it was time and found PYM on Angie's List. I called and got an appointment within days. The gentleman arrived promptly as scheduled. I had assumed that he would just do a simple vacuuming job, but was delighted to discover how thorough he was. He inspected the dryer interior, and used a remote camera to examine the interior of the duct. He measured air flow both before and after the cleaning to ensure that the duct was clear. He replaced all the duct tape on the many sections comprising this 12 foot long duct. He also went outside to inspect the dryer outlet, and ran the dryer after everything was back in place. When he was done, he cleaned the work area. He was here for approximately 2 1/2 hours. In addition to doing a great job, he was pleasant, respectful, and courteous. I can be a tough critic - but there was absolutely nothing to criticize here!

Tremendous service! Yuri gave a complete an accurate estimate over the phone describing exactly what would be done. He arrived on time with another technician and spent over 8 hours cleaning my system! I was amazed at the thoroughness of his work. Other company quotes were over twice as much and did not include the coil cleaning that Yuri performed. In addition he cleaned my dryer vent system and went the extra mile of opening my dryer and thoroughly cleaning all lint from the insides to prevent issues down the line. Great service!
