Description of Work: They replaced the exterior glass in a French door broken by a stone sent flying by a lawn edger. The technician removed the shattered glass and installed a new pane. He cleaned up all debris and capped the interior screws. He arrived on time and charged exactly what I had been quoted. I am very pleased.

Description of Work: The glass on our shower door separated from the frame. I took the glass and frame to Metropolitan and it 3 days it was all back together good as new. The price and service were great. I would certainly use them again, and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I ordered a 30x50 inch tempered clear glass top from Metropolitan for a vintage iron patio table. They suggested tempered glass, which is less likely to break. I ordered it in the clear finish, since the base of the table is so beautiful and I wanted to be able to enjoy it. The top fits perfectly and looks fantastic. | |Metropolitan's staff were helpful, friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. I will recommend them to other, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Description of Work: We also had this company out to do a bid on replacing the glass in a window in our house. The technician was over an hour late, with no call to alert me. When he looked at the window he indicated that because it was low to the floor, tempered glass was necessary which was more expensive. When I mentioned in later conversation that we were renting, he said he wouldn't suggest paying for the tempered glass, whereas before it was presented as a requirement. Totally turned off, didn't even care what the bid came in at. The technician was late and dishonest.
