LOVE IS BLINDS

Called "Love is Blinds" to request a quote for blinds for our livingroom window. When he heard that we were only talking about one window, he said he would come out to measure it. He asked my wife to measure the window instead and said he'd call us back with a price. My wife measured the window and left the details on his voicemail. He never called back. Our $600 went to another company that we were very happy with.

Andy installed amazing shutters for our oversized kitchen window and installed blinds for our oversized sliding glass window. His services were outstanding. His ability to quickly put up these window treatments is nothing short of incredible. His flexibility in scheduling was much appreciated. He worked around our busy family schedule. Better yet, when we had a minor issue with our window blinds, Andy had them replaced for free. This is our 2nd time working with Andy and we look forward to using him again.

Andy was great to work with. He listened to what we wanted so we could select the blinds that met our needs. The installation went smoothly. But where working with Andy really paid off was the service after the sale. This October, almost a year after the initial installation, the motorized blind no longer lifted to the level it should. I read the manual and tried to reset it, but nothing I did fixed the problem. I called Andy for help. Andy researched the problem with the manufacturer and set up a service call. The result is the motor was replaced free of charge which corrected the problem. I trust Andy to provide a quality product and stand behind it.

Very responsive on the phone, and came out right away. Measured all 8 windows, showed samples of products. We picked out what we liked, paid 1/2 down and he placed the order. Promised 3 to 4 weeks, he got them early and installed them in a little over an hour. Love The ease of removing the valances for cleaning. He worked with our busy schedule and came in the evening, and early morning as requested.

A true outstanding contractor in a sea of mediocrity. Helpful, courteous, prompt, attentive to detail, friendly, quick, and reasonable. As close to perfect as possible.

Overall, the experience was excellent. The technician was cheerful, nice, and installed a beautiful product. Their price was very reasonable for the size of the job. I'm happy with their services and I would highly recommend them to others.

An onsite estimate was provided within a few days of calling. Options were bid for size of blinds. After placing the order they arrived when expected and installation was scheduled within 2 days. The installation of blinds in 7 rooms was completed within about 30 minutes. They look great! The entire process was professional, helpful and timely as promised. I would definitely use them for future window treatments.

The price was good. They had the most competitive bid. They were excellent and everything was perfect. They delivered what they said they would. They were very punctual. They were careful and responsive.

Andy arrived with sample books. I described what I thought I wanted, and he steered me in the right direction. I have trouble reaching the shade cord over the kitchen counter. Andy suggested remote control; my husband seconded that right away. Andy added up what I ordered, measured the windows, and somehow the conversation steered toward three shades I had ordered from a store front company a couple years ago, for my home office. The wider one in that room worked, but not as well as the other two. He agreed. He took it down and said he'd take it wherever shades go and return with it in a few days. That shade was returned before my new ones were in. Andy reinstalled it, and still didn't like the way it worked. He said his distributor would come by to work on it here. A very quiet guy arrived a few days later, looked it over, laid it out on the floor, took it apart, fixed it, reassembled it, rehung it, and it's perfect! When my new shades arrived, Andy brought them in, removed the original shades, took away the ones I didn't want to save for parts, and installed the new ones. They looked great, but due to new safety regulations on how the cord has to be attached to the frame, the wider ones weren't as easy to raise and lower as I would have liked. New regulations don't take into consideration that furniture gets in the way, and the wider the window, the more pulls it takes while I'm awkwardly reaching over furniture to reach the darn cord that doesn't budge from the frame. Even when I unscrewed them from the frame and bypassed the safety mechanism (no small children here), I still had trouble. The remote control on the kitchen one, however, was a dream! I know it sounds stupid, or like a toy no one really needs, but until you try one of these on very wide shades (my whole south wall is windows), you have no idea! So I asked about changing all the wide shades over to remote control. Andy said he'd have to send them back to the factory, but as luck would have it, I was now in the time frame for a manufacturer-offered rebate on installing remote control systems. So three weeks later, my shades are reinstalled, I don't have to climb over and around furniture, and there are no cords for kids/pets to get tangled in. Andy explained the remotes and options, and programmed them the way I wanted. I have three, one for each "room" of the open floor plan, and each one works all of the shades that have remotes. I didn't add remote control to the narrower shades. Andy was always on time, often early. I would not hesitate to use him again; he's sort of like the brother you like to have around. In fact, I am going to email him to keep me informed of future specials.

Overall, the sale and installation went very well....in fact everything was ahead of schedule. When one of the valences did not come with the rest of the materials, he promptly had it delivered to my house in a few days. Definitely A+ in service and attitude.

Andy is both professional and personable. He believes in a satisfied customer. Sometimes he gets a little too busy for a one man operation but he always strives to make things right. I have used him twice in the past year. I am very satisfied and will use him again. Even more importantly, I would not hesitate to refer him to family and friends.

Andy (owner) showed up on time for both the measurement and for installation, a delightful person, an all around wonderful job. I strongly recommend this company.

The owner, Andy, was very professional, friendly,courteous and responsive to the customer requests. He offered lower priced items as well as the more expensive blinds. Since I couldn't make up my mind immediately, he had me choose 4 samples that I liked and he ordered those from the manufacturer to be mailed directly to me within 5 working days. His suggestions were helpful and appreciated although he left the final decision with me. Compared to another company that I had used previously for smaller windows, I thought his price was a better value.

Found him in the local flyer. Came on time and had good suggestions. Installed 2 big windows with blinds and they are fantastic. Would use him again.

From start to finish - the process was excellent. The price we paid was approximately 1/3 cheaper than two direct competitors for the EXACT same product! No kidding. He was able to explain to me pros and cons of each type of blinds, didn't try to sell me what I didn't need, and answered all questions completely and to my satisfaction. He was punctual and extremely reasonable in his pricing. He is also a very easy person to work with and very nice man. He had previously sold me some blinds for my master bath, which I was very happy with. I called him again to replace the blinds in the rest of the house. I ended up choosing faux wood Hunter Douglas blinds throughout in several different shades. I am extremely happy with the finished product- it has made a huge difference in the overall look of my home. I would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone.
