Hang Tight Painting

Very good job completed today. Chris, the owner, came to see the guys start early and met us. Very professional. The painters were very fast and thorough. They told me I might need more paint, so when I went to get more -by the time I came back they were practically done They scraped the bottom of the 3 + gallons clean, and everything bit that could be used, was used. They paint on thick, so basically didn't need that second coat. John and Kevin really knew their art and transformed the rooms into exactly what I had hope for. Everything was covered well. Was worried about my carpet upstairs as it was new. No worries. They cleaned up any small paint dots from the wood floor on the main floor. Plus, they painted an extra door because they still had some time left. They moved the fish tank back and anything else I had asked. Good thing I bought extra paint, because when my hallway and doors get demo'd - I will hire HangTight again to do the hallway and doors. They are worth the money!!! Highly recommend! Chris and crew repaired several drywall defects, including the two story great room ceiling. Then they painted my ceilings, great room, hallways, dining room, and stair case. The job took 2 days to complete. I am very pleased with the quality of their work and paint color. It looks great. I would highly recommend Hang Tight to my friends and family.

I was very pleased with the job that was done. Chris took time to prep the area, cover some furniture which was closer to the wall, fixed old nail holes, and even helped move a couple pieces of furniture that were too heavy for me. The room I wanted to paint was open plan so Chris helped me with deciding on a few areas that I wasn't sure should be painted or not. After he was done, Chris put everything back on the walls that he could, given that the walls were still drying. Everything was taken care of nicely. As for the quality of the paint job, I'd say this is the best I've seen so far in my home. I can't find anything I'm unhappy about. The "cutting in" at the ceiling is perfect. I will definitely use this company again.

I purchased a Big Deal for a painter with him, and he called me the next day saying that he was booked up until the end of September, and he suggested I get refunded from Angie's List unless I could wait that long.

Chris is very professional and easy to work with. I requested a different color on lower half of 4 walls in my son?s room. It looks flawless!! He is definitely an expert. He and his associate did a nice job around the house. It was a great help that he purchased the paints on my behalf. Paint cost was extra

The whole process went very smoothly. Communication throughout the whole process was great and at a reasonable price. All work was completed in a timely manner. We are very pleased and would hire Chris and his team if we need any help with future projects.

Hang Tight did an excellent job start to finish from responding quickly to my request for an estimate to completing the job between rain storms. My neighbors have commented on how good the house looks now and I would gladly hire Hang Tight again. I've already recommended them to several people.

Chris and his crew of Kevin and John were excellent workers. They did meticulous work, paid attention to detail, and were pleasant to work with. Chris calls and emails if he has any questions and responds immediately if I contacted him.

Excellent. Arrived on time. Painted quickly, gave me recommendations, did 2 coats, fixed holes, cleaned up, and got the entire job done in less time then I thought. We will be using them again this fall/winter. Highly recommend. Good guys, easy to talk to and comfortable to be around.

They were in and out in about 5 hours, looked great! They did an awesome job. Would totally use them again. Very reasonable.

We moved into a house that had never been painted on the inside and still had the original bland, cheap paint job provided by the builder. I chose Hang Tight based on the reviews from other members. Chris and Josh did the majority of the painting in our home. I used the HGTV collection @ Sherwin Williams and decided on all my colors based on my décor. The cost of the paint is not included in the cost indicated above. Chris and Josh delivered a good paint job and Chris did contract out some of the work since the job was pretty enormous and we wanted to finish in a week. The overall experience was good but I found some areas that were not completed to my satisfaction as I started to look closer at the detail - some trim wasn't painted, patch work showing thru the paint, caulking on stairwell wasn't finished clean - - not smooth. Chris offered to come back to fix any issues but I preferred to do them myself. Also, I had issues where I would find my furniture not being covered when they were sanding the walls and all the dust was getting on my upholstery and leather - I covered the furniture myself on numerous occasions. Also, my wood floors were suppose to be covered when I spoke with Chris and when I returned home, they were sanding the walls and dust was all over my floors. It took me months to get my floors cleaned and back to their previous luster. I would use Hang Tight again but I will ensure I go over the workmanship in infinite detail before I make the final payment and make sure the job isn't too large.

Chris Linker provided a quote and start date. The project took his team approximately 2 weeks to complete. He and his team showed up as scheduled and completed the project as quoted. All work was done professionally and exceeded my expectations. I would use Chris on future projects.

We had an entire gut rehab and were in way over our heads. I found Chris through Angie's List, and gave him a call with fingers crossed. He responded right away and even came out I believe the next day to give a bid. With 2 weeks until move in they got started right away. Chris and Josh went above and beyond working nights and weekends to finish by our unrealistic date. They finished on time and on budget. I am a very picky person, and I could not be more delighted with the job. When I look at the walls and the base board they installed I smile. Throughout the entire stressful project and all of the companies that were delt with, Hangtight was by far my favorite. I would highly recommend to anyone with a critical eye. In fact I have already had two people ask for their number. Thank You again Chris and Josh for everything!

We had a great experience! Chris sent Randy do get the job done for us. He was very professional and checked in with me through out the day letting me know how things were going. My walls and baseboards were looking pretty bad and he fixed them up very nicely! The room looks great! He was very thorough and took his time but also managed to squeeze in a very small bathroom project for me. He worked hard the entire time and I'd gladly work with Randy again. Thanks!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It took a really long time to get it scheduled. They were extremely meticulous; it looks beautiful. It was frustrating to schedule. I spent additional for the paint but it wasn't included in the deal. I would have spent more to have them finish the job but they were never able to schedule a date. It was very great painting. They stopped calling me back to schedule a date.

We were on a tight time schedule and it was right in the middle of the holiday season. We were trying to leave town for an extended trip. Two painters were provided so that the job could be completed in one day. It seemed that several customers were trying to have their homes ready for the holiday festivities. The owner went out of his way to get us worked into his schedule. I had to cancel one appointment at the last minute, no problem, he squeezed us in another day and we were about to leave on our trip although a little late because all the neighbors were over admiring our newly painted kitchen. Both of the painters became welcome guests in our home, they were courteous and friendly but best of all they did a great job.

Prepped and painted 2 standard size bathrooms and the master bath - 2 coats. Paint job was fantastic. Finished in under 8 hrs but not enough time to really start another project. Expecting quote on more work. Would highly recommend and plan on using again.

Chris was very responsive throughout the entire process and a pleasure to work with. After taking a look at our job he was very timely in responding with a fee quote. Chris was also very flexible - we had to change the day we wanted them to start work due to the bad STL weather but Chris did not seem to mind and was able to work out a reschedule as we requested. We also had some changes to our original request during the middle of work and Chris and his crew were great about being flexible and responding to the changed requests. Chris's crew (Josh and Robert) was also a pleasure to work with - all 3 were extremely professional and courteous, and very prompt each morning. They worked hard throughout the day and completed the project on time and within amount quoted. They also moved the furniture and put it back the way it was when done, ensuring all the paint was dry beforehand. In addition, the painting turned out beautiful! We would definitely recommend Chris and his team. We know who we will be calling next time we need some painting done!

We had them paint our basement and the trim in our basement. As usual, Chris and his folks did a great job. Chris is a phenomenal painter of trim and crown molding. If you hire his company to do trim work for you, make sure Chris does the work as he is the best around. The only frustration I have is that Chris and his folks have developed such a large and loyal following that it is hard to find availability on their calendar. This should be a testament to the excellent work they do.

I guess not good, since I never had a appointment with the rep. I still have the job to be done.

Great! The ceiling is 20 feet high and the walls are 17feet, they got the whole ceiling and main wall done in a day, that's with doing. Minor repairs to the minor arch drywall.
