Hang Tight Painting

We just had the interior of our house painted and Chris Linker’s team with Hang Tight Painting did a really great job. We asked neighbors and family and turned to our subdivision list of references and Chris was highly regarded. Then we solicited 3 quotes and his was by far the most reasonable. We are delighted in the results. Showed up on time, worked all day, quick turnaround, cleaned up religiously. He’s insured; I asked for the binder. I highly recommend him.

These guys were fantastic. Their quality of work was precise and spot on. We had a team of 4 guys who were all very professional and personable. They finished on time as promised (4 days of work) and cleaned up after themselves very well. (There was dust throughout the house, but given the amount of sanding and repairs they did, it was understandable.) One guy even repaired a toilet paper holder that was falling off the wall. They were roughly 10-20 minutes late each day of work, but not a huge concern of mine. And my main contact was a bit slow to respond to emails before the project began. But all in all, this was definitely money well spent, and I would recommend them to anyone!

I should have cancel when the owner had a hard time finding a spot for me on his schedule. Finally the painter from his crew was terrible. He did not scrape and sand old woodwork, just painted over peeling paint. He left drifts of plaster powder from preparing the walls. He painted the ceiling and ruined the lenses of three new light fixtures just because he was too lazy to take them down. There was fine, white paint splatter on everything--toilet, counters, tile walls, mirrors. The owner offered to have the painter return to cleanup, but I refused to have him in the house again and spent two days myself razor-blading all the bathroom, vacuuming the dust and washing. The owner purchased new light covers and then came himself to redo all the woodwork painting and wall priming. A death in the family of my tile installer created a two week interruption in the project. Tile was installed on May 3. After that the owner just couldn't seem to find a date to fit in my wallpaper, blaming the family death interruption for throwing off his schedule and was otherwise out of communication. Then he emailed me and said he was coming the next morning. The quality of the papering job started off good but seam and pattern matching deteriorated as the hours went by. This project commenced with the painting on April 24 and the owner installed the wallpaper on May 29. Maybe that's not excessively long in this day and age for a project that in the end took four full work days, five days if you count the one where the owner had to redo the initial. I thought I was exceedingly patient and not unreasonable in my expectations. The bathroom looks nice, but I am so glad this is over and done with.

We needed several rooms in our home painted before we moved in. We closed on our house on a Friday and Chris and his team were in there on Saturday to start the painting. Job was finished quickly and quality is great. Would use him again!

I needed my master bedroom painted last year and Chris and his guys did a great job. I kept changing my mind about the color and Chris was very patient. He also told me he didn't think the wallpaper I had picked out was printed correctly. He picked up on things that most people wouldn't. He's a very nice guy, a family man and I would trust him and his guys in my house implicitly. Don't hesitate to use these guys. Fair price too.

It all went very well. Very courteous and punctual. They were here at the same time that other workers were here doing some bath and kitchen remodeling and they all coordinated work well. The workers cleaned up very well at the end of each day. I would definitely hire again.

From the initial contact for the estimate through completion of the project, Chris was very easy to work with. He answered questions immediately and with definitive answers, and at the end of the job the numbers were the same. We asked him at the end of the job if he could add the interior garage walls and ceiling, and he agreed and gave us a estimate on the spot. The work was completed early and with an absolute minimum of mess. His team was professional and polite, and very careful with our new home.

Excellent - definitely hire again. They did everything I asked them to, helped me move some old things I no longer needed, and came back to repaint a wall I changed my mind about - quickly! Very easy to work with, and they are low maintenance workers - you don't have to baby sit them, which is a good thing. They are now bidding on wallpapering my powder room.

Chris and his crew always do an amazing job. Their work Is impeccable. Don’t hesitate to hire them if you are in need of painting. At this point they have painted my entire upstairs, main floor and are now will be completing our lower level.

They are flawless in their work! Plus they are always punctual, helpful if I have a question and just pleasant to have in your home. His assistants are Josh and Alex. They too are awesome.

Everything was on time and extremely neat work. Workman, Josh, was excellent putting furniture and TV's back together after painting room.

Everything went extremely well. We collected several bids and the cost was extremely reasonable. The crew was very professional and we were completely comfortable having them in our house alone. Chris called me with appropriate questions when needed and the work was excellent. We would use them again for future projects.

I contacted Hang Tight Painting online. They contacted me quickly and set up an appointment. I needed my basement painted before we put it on the market. They sent out two guys who were very professional. They moved furniture, patched holes, removed baseboards, painted the basement and reinstalled the baseboards. They were there from 9-3, with no breaks until they were done. They did a great job and I would recommend this company again.

Went great, from first contact to the day of painting. Chris the owner was extremely responsive and answered any questions quickly. They did a great job painting the house and left everything very clean when they left.

They were okay. They did a touch up. I'd had the roof replaced do he had to paint underneath where the plywood shows, touched up the house and that kind of thing. There was no interior work done. The guy who came showed up at a certain time and left at a certain time. He wasn't exactly time effective. They didn't really communicate as good as I thought they could have. They are both nice guys, they are just not supposed to work together.

chris and his team of workers did an excellent job. They did the work within the time period promised. They are flawless in their work. They are friendly, professional and pointed out problem areas that we had not noticed. We have lived in six houses so we have a great deal of experience with hiring painters. For future jobs I will look no further than Hang Tight Painting. They are excellent in every way. Thanks Chris!

Pleasant to work with from the get go. Went above and beyond to get our projects done in our desired time frame. Was super flexible with scheduling. Very happy with the end results! Had some pretty damaged walls to work with and they look flawless. Prepped so well and the clean up was great. All of his employees were very pleasant..

I wanted to start the painting of our new home immediately after moving to St. Louis while closets were bare and everything was still in boxes. Chris was easy to work with long distance while I was still in Philly and provided a timely estimate. He and his team arrived a couple of days after the movers left. It was hectic and I was nervous about choosing paint colors that never seem to look like the swatches. Chris' daughter, Milena, had a great eye for color and helped immensely in this respect. I LOVE the colors in every room! During our last move, it took ONE painter three months to paint our entire home. SO RELIEVED it took Chris and his team ONLY SIX DAYS. What's more, the quality of the work done was outstanding. Everyone on his team was a pleasure to work with and I was almost sorry to see them go. Thank you, Chris, for taking the one aspect of moving I dread the most, and turning it into such a stress-free (even pleasant) experience!

I recently finished my basement by myself and I needed someone to prime and paint just about everything....including walls, ceiling, baseboards, bathroom, stairway, and doors. I received quotes from 3 different painters and Hang Tight was the lowest and in my opinion reasonable for the scope of work. Given that I had a tight schedule to install carpet and cabinets after painting, Hang Tight worked with me to get in and out in a 3 day window, although I needed to schedule them about 3 weeks in advance as their schedule was pretty full at the time. They really did a good job on everything. Walls look great and they filled in all nail holes on the baseboard prior to finishing. Professional group and I appreciate that they ensured everything looked great.

Chris contacted me within a day of my request for a quote. A few days later he gave me a quote, I accepted it and he scheduled a day for the work to be done. The day before he verified the scheduled date and the work was done. His employees were on time and very pleasant. Chris got them started and came back later in the day to check on the job. The job was done in one day and that was not easy because our room has a vaulted ceiling. The work was excellent I highly recommend Hang Tight Painting. I will use them in the future. The painting team consisted of three very energetic men who were pleasant, skilled and did not slack on the job. Everyone was efficient. They cleaned up the areas very well. Actually, the rooms looked in better shape after their work. I'd highly recommend Hang Tight for painting. In fact, I'll be using them to paint the exterior of my home. These are the people to hire when you want painting done in a professional manner and for a reasonable price.

My husband and I wanted our new home interior to be completely painted after we closed and prior to moving in. We had several painting contractors meet with us. All the quotes were competitive. We chose Hang Tight Painting after talking with Chris several times. Chris was prompt in returning our initial contact and in responding to numerous texts, emails and phone calls. He met us at the model home so we could show him the floor plan and again at our home once we had interior walls up. He described what was and was not included in his services. We chose Hang Tight because we believed that Chris would do a wonderful job in painting our home. His quote was not the lowest nor the highest but was well within the budget we had set as we had other projects we needed done before move in. When we closed and the house was ours, Chris and his team - Josh and Mark were prompt on arriving as I had to meet them at the house and unlock the doors as we were not occupying it until the painting was complete and our belongings arrived out of storage. Each day they were always on time. The quality of the painting was excellent. We had a lot of trim work for the crew to paint around, the edges are crisp and clean with no paint on the trim and no bare spots. We had several paint colors and one accent wall with a stripe. Once finished they cleaned up and left the home in great condition. Since moving in we have had many compliments on the colors chosen and the paint quality. The whole interior has been wonderfully and expertly painted. Chris and his team were professional, courteous and friendly. I would highly recommend Chris Linker and Hang Tight Painting!
