Hang Tight Painting

Painted the risers and balusters on a new interior staircase, sanded, stained, and polyurethaned the new treads. Did a great jog matching the new riser stain to the existing hardwood on the floor. Very responsive and easy to work with. I put a "B" on the cost but it was the first time I ever had this type of work done and I was not sure what to expect on the cost. I would definitely use this company again!

Josh arrived at 8 am to paint various walls in my house that had gotten scuffed up over the years (including a very tall stairwell). Upon starting the job, Josh pointed out that my four year old paint was no longer matching the adjoining wall. In order to finish the job properly, Josh agreed to run to Sherman Williams and pick up new paint. This resulted in an hour delay. Despite the delay, Josh worked the rest of the day (I believe without even eating lunch), to still finish the project in eight hours. The walls now blend just fine. Had it not been for his professionalism, I would have wasted $299 on a job using bad paint. I rated Responsiveness as a "C" only because it took several weeks to get the job scheduled. It was worth the wait.

This was the first time that we used them. He came out, gave us a great estimate and did a wonderful job. There was not a drop of paint anywhere. Just one painter came out to perform the service. It took him four to six hours to complete the service.

It went great! The previous owner had removed wallpaper but not all the glue which caused the paint to flake off. Josh sanded and spackled the dents. He then painted the entire bathroom. It looks great. He also spackled my walls and corners in other places in the house. He removed some paint chips so I could get matching paint to spot paint where it had been scuffed up or knocked off the corners. He worked hard through out the day to get as much done as possible.

We found the guy in Angie's List. We had the paint already. They brought their own tools and stuff. They were very tidy. They did a great job. It took them one day. There was one person. It was excellent. They were very good people to work with.

Overall the team at Hang Tight Painting did an excellent job. The paint work turned out excellent and it is pretty clear these folks know what they are doing and get the job done. The three-person team arrived promptly each day, communicated what was going on each day, and delivered on time and on budget. We had some patchwork to do in the master bathroom and the ceiling in the kitchen ... they handled it and it was a very reasonable add-on to the initial price quote provided by Hang Tight. Overall, the price for all of the services seemed reasonable and even somewhat lower than other painting providers we spoke to before hiring Hang Tight. I would definitely use them again as well as recommend their services to anyone who would be interested in their services.

I bought a new house and the old owners had had the whole house painted in very dark colors which were not to my taste. Chris was very prompt and personable right from the 1st visit. He and his crew were here for four full days, promptly at 8 (1 painter 1 day, then three painters and a 4th came for an afternoon to help out). He and all his employees were courteous, personable and easy to have around the house---this I say next because it can be a problem--they never drank on the job, never smelled of alcohol and I don't believe any smoked, no one ever smelled of cigarette smoke. As far as I could tell, they used the paint full strength without watering it down (and if they did it was minimal0; they painted two coats. They patched and sanded a boat load of areas all over the house. The dining room needed a primer coat because the color was so awful my lighter color wouldn't cover with good results. Chris also put a 3rd coat on my office for the same reason. They spread drop cloths everywhere, removed and replaced all electrical plates, painted neatly and cleaned up (including vacuuming) and put things out of the way every day. When they were well and truly done they put all the furniture back for me. I have quite a few antique pieces and they were VERY careful! I still have a few rooms that need new paint and will definitely call Chris and Hang Tight to do it! I would like to mention that they did NOT have to paint the ceilings or any trim (the trim is all wood stain finished) since this kept the price lower. I highly recommend Chris Linker and his company, Hang Tight.

They purchased the paint for me, arrived promptly each day, and began the days work. The filled old holes from previous hangings, moved furniture, moved drapes and curtains. They were very careful with my new carpeting and furniture.... and kept everything well covered. They painted two coats on all the walls, did an accent wall, and cleaned up each evening before they left. They put all my furniture back in the original position, and hung all of the drapes and curtains again for me. They were very nice, very efficient, and did an excellent job.

Chris was terrific from first contact through finished product. They arrived on time and did a wonderful job. Someone else had painted previously and made a mess, they fixed most of their mistakes and made it look ten times better. They cleaned up afterwards and finished on time. Couldn't have been a better experience or finished job. Thank you Chris!

Chris arrived at the house at 8:15. He started prepping the room, while waiting for Mark to arrive. Mark was delayed by an accident on I-64/40. They both are hard workers and very polite young men. They moved furniture, filled in nail holes and cut and painted two coats throughout the basement. I love the new look of my basement and I would highly recommend Hang Tight Painting to anyone who needs a great painter.

I bought a $499 special off Angie's List which included 2 painters for a day. Chris and Josh were prompted and friendly. They worked hard and efficiently all day. Their painting was top notch...the area looks awesome. I haven't noticed any drips or paint on my woodwork.

Chris got back to us very quickly with a time to come over to see the job. He responded quickly with a bid that was very reasonable. He started on the job quickly after accepting the bid and finished the job in the time he said he would. We would have him and his crew do work for us in the future! VERY easy to work with and did a great job.

Fantastic! Chris was quick to provide us a bid and answered all our questions regarding the job. His bid was lower than two other companies and he promised to do the job in less time. We got a discount from the paint retailer because we told them we were using Hang Tight Painting. The crew showed up on the appointed day and they were very professional. The job was completed in two days and it exceeded our expectations. We would definitely use Hang Tight Painting again.

Excellent. They did a great job. It did take a little while to get us on the schedule. It went well. He was backed up a little at the time when I originally scheduled it, but he did say that he would do a refund or something else if it didn't work for me. They were very professional, they worked the complete number of hours they were there, and they did quality work.

Very well. Took a while to get on the schedule but I did change dates a few times too. The deal was for 2 painters for a day but we did one painter for two days. It worked out great because the paint go to dry between coats. Josh was very knowledgable and easy to get along with. He fixed some problem spots that I caused and made them invisible. It's been a while now and I am noticing a few mishaps but over all they were great and I'd use them again.

Chris and his co-worker arrive early in the morning (8:30am) and began setting up while my wife and I got the kids ready for school/daycare. We left him at our house all day to complete the job. Our dog stayed with them and they were fine with that. Chris is very respectful of your home and takes great care. This is the second time we've had Hang Tight Painting work on our house and are extremely satisfied with the painting jobs performed. The wall to ceiling line of demarcation is always a hard thing to achieve but they make clean, straight lines. Chris and his painters are all very friendly and have a good work ethic. I strongly recommend Hang Tight for your next painting job.

We are very happy with the painting that Chris and his team did. This was a big job that would have been very complicated for us to do ourselves. The finished product looks so good that I thnk we should always leave painting to professionals now! Chris and his crew member were punctual, professional and courteous, and finished within the estimated timeframe. Chris provided a great itemized estimate and there were no hidden surprises with the cost estimate that we were given. The paint looks great and our interior looks beautiful. We will definitely call this company again for future painting projects!

Called provider requesting painting of two bedrooms in October. Told me he didn't think he had time and would call back. Never returned the call.

Beautiful work. Chris, the company owner, was very accommodating and a nice guy. Kevin, who did most of the work, was fast and precise. He, too, is a great guy who I felt very comfortable having in my home.

They take pride in their work, wanted me to be happy. My house looks great!

I did not end up using this service because I needed it done as soon as possible and found another contractor (also from Angie's List) who could start immediately. I will certainly consider using this service on my next project.
