It didnt 'go'.
Description of Work: Provider came out almost a year ago and measured an area for a breakfast nook. He did. State that it might take awhile to get on the schedule. Haven't heard from him since.

I must apologize to [Member's name removed]. for this over-site, the estimate was completed and just "slipped thru the crack" as they say. The person who was to get it in the mail was going thru some serious personal issues at that time and just missed it. No excuse for us not following up to check on the project. Description of Work: Roy came to my home and spoke with my wife and I. When he left we never heard from him, no call, no email, no letter. He just did not have the integrity to call and say that it was not a project he was interested in doing.

MAILING TO THE MEMBER DIDN'T GO OUT, AND NO FOLLOW UP CALL WAS GIVEN. THIS JUST SLIPPED THRU THE CRACK, THE BALL WAS DROPPED BY ONE OF OUR SUB-CONTRACTORS. WE ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE OVERSIGHT. WE SHOULD HAVE FOLLOWED UP WITH THE MEMBER BUT, DUE TO OUR WORK LOAD, IT WAS MISSED. SINCE THE MEMBER DIDN'T CONTACT US DIRECTLY, WE WERE UNAWARE A PROBLEM EVEN EXISTED UNTIL WE RECEIVED THE REPORT FROM ANGIE'S LIST.

We had a very nice experience with Finish and Trim. They were very professional from contract to work. We would use them again for future work.
Description of Work: Roy Kinder replaced all of the interior doors and trim. He also constructed a frame for the front window in the living room.

Finish & Trim Carpentry and Roy Kinder did an excellent job of designing and building bookshelves/cabinets for our family room. The shelves and cabinets are built on-site (Roy set up in our garage)using first rate materials. Roy is very precise and demonstrates great attention to detail. He communicated frequently with us throughout the project. We are very pleased with the end result.
Description of Work: Design and build custom bookshelves, cabinets and fireplace mantle.

Ray called back immediately and listened to what I needed, and explained what they do. They make what is called "Pypon" (non-wood material) which is pouring in molds. He could do what I was asking, but it would be far too expensive for what I wanted. I really appreciated that honesty. He referred me to another company who could make the kind of piece I needed, and then he directed me to what kind of glue, caulk, and type of saw I needed to cut the material. All of this without making a penny off of me.
Description of Work: I called them to see if they could do trim for an outside porch (an 11 foot piece).

My overall experience was excellent. I enjoyed watching the work progress through the various stages. All areas are greatly enhanced with the additional features. Roy and his son are personable and extremely talented.
Description of Work: Roy Kinder and his son designed, built and installed custom entries to the living room, hall and kitchen; installed a custom chair rail and baseboard in my kitchen and painted all of the trim. Both men were very efficient and professional in their work and demeanor.

HE WAS SIGNIFICANTLY LESS EXPENSIVE THAN OTHERS AND GAVE ME A LIFETIME WARRANTY ON WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND GAVE GOOD SUGGESTIONS, TRUSTWORTHY AND I WOULD USE HIM AGAIN.

HE CLEANED UP WELL AND DID GREAT WORK. HE WAS A VERY NICE GUY AND VERY THOROUGH. HIS BID WAS DETAILED AND HE PROVIDED A COPY OF HIS INSURANCE AND LICENSE NUMBER RIGHT UP FRONT. HE EVEN CAME OUT TWO OR THREE TIMES TO MEASURE AND TOLD ME EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO BEFORE THE WORK STARTED. HE CAME BACK AFTERWARDS TO DOUBLE CHECK AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS TO MY SATISFACTION. HE WAS PROMPT IN ADDRESSING ANY CONCERNS. I'M GOING TO USE HIM FOR FUTURE WORK AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.
