I purchased a Big Deal to have my gutters cleaned and repaired. When I tried to set an appointment, Sheridan said my house was not in their service area. Angie's List gave me a full refund.

The visit went fine. I did feel that there was a little bit of salesmanship going on, but I would probably go back to Sheridan Exteriors again.

I’ve purchased several Deals through Angie’s List, and this Deal was the only one that I had to pay additional costs. When the technician came out, he seemed to be a high-pressured salesman. He tried to sell me some gutter guards and told me he had to charge me extra to move the ladder during the cleaning. Also, he left debris in my yard, including a dead bird! I’ve had handymen companies clean my gutters in the past for much less.

The service was okay. They did the work that was described in the Big Deal. It ended up being a lot later than I would have liked but this may have been due to the Big Deal.

I bought a $99 big deal for gutter cleaning and repair. It came with a quote for 50% off gutter covers. I didn't read the small print closely enough, because I wound up paying extra because I have a steeper roof. We ended up not getting the gutter covers, I felt they were too expensive, even after the discount. They did a good job, worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves.

Meet with Troy of Sheridan and described the work I would like done. He indicated that it was doable and covered by the Angie's List Big Deal Coupon I purchased and we scheduled a time for the work to be done. The work was completed as discussed, no hassle.

Gutters were cleaned and inspected. Went well. Also received an estimate for new gutters and gutter covers.

The original ad should have listed the limited service area for this big deal.

This was a Angie's Deal They returned phone call promptly. Set up appt and came out on time and did the job when I was not home. No complaints. Professional. Would use again.

Mr. Sheridan showed up and got right to work. (I work nights and sleep during the day; I woke when I saw the shadow of a ladder pass by the living-room window.) He replaced the cover screens in good condition. We discussed the possibility of replacing the gutters with something more "leaf-proof," but he didn't try to force a sale. He worked quickly and efficiently, and water has been passing freely through the gutters and downspouts.

It went well, even though Mr. Sheridan found a lot of debris in the gutters that was left over from a roofing project. He said he was willing to clean it up with an additional charge of 20 dollars. I agreed, and it was taken care of.

The Big Deal was for gutter cleaning. I had not read the fine print so I was surprised when the owner said there would be an extra charge since he did not live near or generally do business in my area. I agreed to pay the extra charge since I had already paid for the Big Deal. He also said there may be an extra charge if the roof was sloped above a certain degree. I was not especially happy to hear this, but it was not his fault; it did teach me to read the fine print on all Big Deals! The owner came when we were not home and performed the work. It is impossible for us to see into the gutters without climbing a two-story-plus ladder (which we don't have), so I just have to trust that he did the work. It has rained and we have had no problem with the gutters. The pleasant surprise was that he apparently was in our area on that day and so he left a note saying that there was no extra charge.

I called Sheridan on Wednesday. Troy came the next day. Job of approx. 250 lineal feet. Complete in 30 minutes. Great responsiveness. Would recommend without reservation.

It was a great working experience overall. I cannot tell you what a joy it is to be able to count on someone to show up and perform their work efficiently and professionally and at a reasonable price. Troy always has a smile on his face and he is very easy to talk to and work with which is uncommon these days.

The project was done as scheduled. I indicated I would like additional gutters installed and it was done. Actually I was away that day and I received an invoice in my email = it was then that I realized that the job was complete.

I requested to have my gutters cleaned and an estimate to install leaf free gutter covers. Troy arrived on time, was very professional, knowledgeable and just a very nice person. He cleaned the gutters and presented two options for gutter covers. I selected one and he installed it the next day. I was very pleased with the whole process. I highly recommend Troy and Sheridan Exteriors. I will definitely call him in the future for any exterior work I require. There was an envelope in my mailbox the day Troy completed the job. Inside was $10 in cash because he realized he overcharged me to clean the gutters; something I didn?t catch. Class act.

Great - the only tricky part was scheduling. They showed up several days ahead of when they said they would be available. This wasn't a problem - I was just surprised to see a guy standing on top of my garage with a leaf blower!

This was the second time we chose Sheridan Exteriors. A couple years ago we had them add gutters to the back and side of our house as an additional means to alleviate some basement flooding we were having. We were so pleased with how well those gutters turned out that we asked them back to bid on adding gutters to the rest of the house and 2 sides of our detached garage. Troy gave us a reasonable bid so we contracted with him for a second time. He and his crew arrived promptly and completed the work with the same level of skill and efficiency that we experienced the first time. Troy is clearly committed to delivering a quality product from start to finish. We would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Troy was responsive on the phone, courteous, and punctual. He and his assistant quickly and thoroughly cleaned our gutters and he was wonderful to work with, even promising to follow up with possible solutions for covering our copper gutters. Troy will be the person I call for my next gutter cleaning!

Showed up on time and performed the cleaning, then I requested a bid for the gutter caps (was having clogging issues). They came back later (as needed materials) and performed the services. There was one issue on the front porch after a heavy rain but they quickly came back and remedied. Great service and would hire again.

I had purchased a Big Deal through Angie's List to have Sheridan Exteriors come to my home and re-pitch the gutters on the front of my house. Before I purchased the deal, I contacted them to find out how much their "out of service area" fee would be. I thought the $50 fee reasonable. Plus, they were rated highly on Angie's List so I thought they would do a good job. Because we were out if their normal area, they would not schedule a specific date for the work. When Troy had several jobs in our area already lined up for a particular day, he would call us. Those days never worked out for one reason or another. I even recommended he schedule us to be the first job of the day and then they could "work their way back" to Woodbury. He didn't understand that concept. After several weeks and not being able to nail down a time that was convenient for them...Troy recommended I get my money back on the "Big Deal" because we were just too far away. He did not want to drive him and his team that far. (Our house is only about 35 miles from Woodbury. NOT VERY FAR IN MY BOOK.) I was very disappointed that Troy just didn't seem to want to do the job. So, I got my money back and ended up going with a different contractor to replace the gutters instead of re-pitching them.

I thought my gutters were plugged and or not slanted to the right degree and I was getting water in my basment blocks. The paint on the blocks were bubbled, and I was getting mold in the basement. I searched Angies List and found a great deal with Sheridan Exteriors to clean and adjust (tuneup) my gutters. Troy was prompt with his work , and even found missing and loose clamps. He also found that the roofers had never installed flashing. Troy Sheridan did an amazing job on the front and back of my home. Troy and his crew worked hard, made some repairs, got a lot out of our gutters, and cleaned up all of it. Needless to say, we got quite a bargain. Professional and easy to work with too. We were very pleased.
