+ 0 moreFirst of all, the final product looks outstanding! The drywall company started the job late and finished two weeks behind schedule. I had to reschedule a couple of times and Julie went out of her way to fit me in and get the job done. She is very professional and has the best customer service of any contractor I have worked with. Highly recommended!
Description of Work: I had a room in the basement that was unfinished and hired Julie to install the electrical outlets and recessed lighting before the drywall company did their work. I also had the garage finished (drywall) and hired her to remove the lights, do some wiring, and reinstall the lights after the work was done.

Julie was able to provide these services and followed through with the power company regarding her findings. She returned for another service call to help figure out what had not allowed power to be restored after the electric company came out. I appreciated her expertise and her responsiveness to my need.
Description of Work: Helped me get electrical power re-connected to a cabin that had not had power hooked up for a few years.

+ 0 moreAble to go with the flow once onsite. I had to run to pick up an article to assist with the conversion in order to complete the job with one visit. They had to make a new hole in the ceiling for the fan/light unit because hooking it to the existing exhaust line meant slightly relocating it. They carefully cut the hole to re-use the sheetrock and patched up the previous hole best they could. Pleased with result.
Description of Work: Removed existing bathroom fan & changed out to a combo fan/light. Rewired to accommodate separate fan and light switch. Involved going up into attic and removing old unit, retro-fitting new unit to existing exhaust line. Replaced existing switches and outlet with preferred color.

+ -1 moreI was very happy with the project. From the start, I received excellent communication. I found Julie (Owner) to be realistic about scheduling the job, very experienced and very knowledgeable. She also listened to my ideas and was flexible with changes that I proposed. For example, the conduit was originally going to run along the ceiling. I proposed that we do it at the bottom of the drywall which allowed us to add one more receptacle in the garage. She made the change. The outlet was by the panel was suppose to be a 20 amp. We decided to get a larger heater for the garage at the last minute and they were flexible with the change to a 30 amp. Both Electricians arrived on time and worked with a sense of urgency. The completed job was done below estimate. For small residential projects like ours, The Universe was the perfect match.
Description of Work: Our Electrical Panel is in our garage. Universe Electric added wiring and receptacle for one 30 amp space heater. Additionally, They ran conduit from the panel around the base side walls of the garage. The conduit has two circuits running through it. The first was for 2 outlets added to the garage. The second was for a dedicated circuit for a bathroom that is on the same level in our home as the garage.
