Description of Work: I honestly can't remember exactly how much I paid for an advertised spring clean-up but know it was under the $100 mark. They did call right away but didn't sound thrilled with the work (like they had many requests from the offer and were a bit overwhelmed - just my impression). They showed up as promised but the quality of the work was left wanting. Just the superficial activities to clean up the yard were done - and those not so well. I ended up hiring neighborhood teenagers to finish the job.

Description of Work: Sean lost all information on my order after an initial call and VM he made regarding my purchase. I left 2 VM and after a week of no response emailed him. He immediately called back but said he had never gotten my money or information. PayPal showed the transaction had gone through. I had two previous emails and two VM with one response from him. He came out to the house to check our yard but said he couldn't do the work. He was difficult to understand on the phone, I thought he sounded drunk to be honest. Overall a terrible company in my opinion. The only reason I didn't give a F is because he offered a refund.

Description of Work: Raked lawn, de-thatched and took away the leaves. When I called and got his voice mail, he returned my call immediately. We set up a date for him to come. The day he was supposed to come it rained so he let me know that he wasn't coming and would come the next day. He charged me less than originally quoted because he didn't have to do as much. Yard looked very nice after he finished.

+ -1 moreAfter purchasing a buy it now coupon, I left a message. Sean responded in a timely manner and set up a convenient time for the leaf removal job. His rate was very reasonable. I was definitely pleased with the overall job and response and have also hired him for my snow removal needs for the upcoming winter.
Description of Work: I have a large corner lot with an abundance of trees/fallen leaves. Leaf removal was needed from the entire yard and city walk. Sean has all the equipment and manpower that was needed for the job.

+ -1 moreI had contacted Sean about doing some year end yard work and leaf removal. He wanted to wait till the following week so there was a better chance that all the leaves would be down. we were scheduled for 2pm yesterday. At 3 pm, still a "no show" and "no call", so I called him several times and left messages. Eventually he returned a call and came (2 hours after original appointment time. He stated he had a computer crash and lost the schedule. ok, I can relate, that happens). When he did get there, he looked around and asked how to access the back yard and he felt there was no reasonable way to get his machine down the hill. There was access from a neighbor's yard and he would come back when I had permission.He did not even start on the work that could be easily done in the front yard. I had the permission within about a half hour and called Sean and he said he would be back the following day (today) at noon (yes, I still have his message on my voice mail. I'm not making this up). Guess what? Today, noon came and went-- no call and no show! I called and left messages but got no return calls (and I got calls from other people, so the phone was working). I finally started on my own as I must now assume he is simply not coming. Well, it's over half done now....... Sadly, I wasted a lot of nice weather waiting and now I am on a time crunch that I never would have been in if I had never decided to hire him. : (
Description of Work: Nothing was done. He was a "No show and No call" . I finally just had to do the work myself. Fortunately, I did not prepay for the service (or lack there of).

+ -1 moreWe hired SCH just before the holidays of 2010 after our existing contractor was unable to deal with a heavy snowfall. For snow removal, he has access to a variety equipment, including a front end loader which is important for heaving snowfalls. He also uses single and two stage snowblowers, depending on the situation. His snow removal performance has been excellent, including the fussy work clearing steps and entryways. He also handles all our lawn care except for significant tree trimming. Again, his work is excellent and he has a variety of mowers and trimmer so he can use the right product for the job. The quality of his work is excellent and he communicates very well, better than any lawn care provider we have used since the inception of our association 15 years ago (SCH is our 4th provider). His pricing is fair and reasonable. I highly recommend him to anyone needing lawn care and/or snow removal services.
Description of Work: Lawn care including weekly mowing, fertilizing, weed killing, application of mulch, spring and fall cleanup and other lawn repair work. Snow removal anytime snowfall exceeds 2 inches. Contract covers basic mowing and snowfall. Fertilizing, weed killing, application of mulch, spring and fall cleanup, other repair work and snowfalls exceeding 8 inches are extra.
