"Fantastic, efficient, courteous, skilled, generous and very reasonably priced. That’s just some of the words I would use to describe the work that Perfect Landscape did for some tree removal at my house. I had estimates from 6 or 7 tree removal companies referred to me by Angi’s and Perfect Landscape was the most reasonably priced. They came twice to my house, first removing a very tall dead ash tree in the front yard on Friday without using their crane. They then came back the following Tuesday and used their crane to remove a tall oak tree (which was close to my house) from my fenced back yard along with a neighbor’s oak tree that was split and sure to fall on my house at some point if not removed. I can’t say enough about the great job Ryan and his crew from Perfect Landscape did. They were efficient, courteous and cleaned up any leftover tree branches etc. from my yard, the street and anything that may have fallen in a neighbor’s yard. The owner Rodney was very reasonable and generous adding an additional tree to their Tuesday workload, again at a very reasonable price. The use of their crane was essential to lift out my huge dead oak tree from my fenced back yard without having to remove the fence or damaging the yard or house. Three cuts and lifts and the tree was gone. Likewise, they removed a neighbor’s tree from between our front yards again using their crane. I highly recommend Perfect Landscape if you need any trees removed and want it done in a timely and professional manner. Many thanks again to Rodney (the owner) and Ryan and his crew for the great work they did."

WE ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH ARBOR BARBER LLC OR JOHN KOPPI, WE ARE THE ORIGINAL ARBOR BARBER - Offering professional tree service at a reasonable rate in the Twin Cities area since 1989. Call today and allow us to help you with all of your tree service needs. We specialize in the precision take-down of any tree.
"We had a Canadian Cherry tree that had been infested with Black Knot disease and was more than ready to come down. It was right next to our deck (and a power line) and inside our 6 ft high wooden backyard fence. One of the crew did a remarkable job of cutting it down alone by climbing. We also had a Green Ash tree infested with Emerald Ash Borer in our back yard, near our fence. The owner, Vitaliy Savchenko, stood on a platform lift to expertly cut down most of the Ash tree. A crew member finished off the trunk at ground level. Another crew member carefully ground out the Ash stump and filled in the hole. We were relieved that their stump grinding machine fit through our gate opening width of 40 inches. Our fears of any damage to our fence and/or deck turned out to be groundless because absolutely nothing was harmed, including the Yew bush (surrounding the Cherry tree), other bushes in the yard, etc. - branches were expertly dropped where they did no harm. The crew who cleaned up branches did an excellent job. At our request, they left the Cherry stump, which we can use as a stand for a bird bath or plant. We requested a 2" thick slice of each of the trunks, as a remembrance. All of this was of much interest to our neighbors, one of whom requested a large Mulberry tree (growing right next to the house and amid power and telephone lines) to be removed and Vitaliy took the opportunity of having the platform lift there to go over and take care of that for him. Our neighbor was pleased with the work and the cost (about $1000 - included stump removal). In our front yard, Vitaliy trimmed our Apple tree and some of our Sugar Maple tree from the ground. Then, a crew member used the platform lift to trim higher on the tree (we wanted no branches near the roof and a few others trimmed). 30 ft Canadian Cherry tree removal - $680. 35 ft Green Ash tree removal - $980. Green Ash tree stump - grind and remove - $250. Apple tree trimming - $50. 40 ft Sugar Maple tree trimming - $300 (10% senior discount on total bill = $226) - final cost for Sugar Maple was $74. Tax: $146.45. Total: $2,180.45. We were very pleased with this price. Had 3 other estimates - 2 considerably higher. One lower but we were more impressed with Vitaliy's expertise. We made our initial telephone inquiries on Tuesday, March 2 to four Angie's List tree companies. Vitaliy responded with an in-person estimate visit with us on Wednesday, March 3 (not all companies meet with you for the estimate). The work was completed on Monday, March 8, scheduled for 8:00 a.m. (arrival was about 7:50 a.m.) and all was completed before noon. He and his whole crew worked extremely efficiently and expertly. Vitaliy has put together a great team. We miss our trees but they had to come down and we couldn't be happier with our choice of Arbor Barber."

Yes, you will want to confirm that the tree removal company you hire is insured before proceeding with the job. Tree removal can be dangerous work, and it's important to verify that the company carries the proper insurance to cover any onsite accidents or damage.

On average, removing a tree costs around $750, but you can expect to pay between $200 to $2,000. Factors that impact the overall cost include the number of trees you’re having removed, their height, the diameter of their trunks, permits needed, and the tree’s accessibility. You’ll pay more if the tree is in a hard-to-reach area or dangerous location, like close to power lines.

The cost varies depending on a number of factors, including the size of the tree, location, accessibility, whether or not the stump is also being removed, and other environmental factors.
Answered by Elan Flores at Flores Artscape in Los Angeles, CA on 01/07/25
Each tree is different, and costs can vary widely based on factors including tree size, hardness of wood, difficulties caused by location of the tree and proximity to nearby structures and objects, inherent risk involved in specific removals (e.g. rotten sections of trunk), requirements of dealing with municipalities and local governments for tree removal permits, and the methods employed by the tree worker to remove your tree.
A single tree could cost as low as $100 to remove or $10,000 dollars or more depending on these factors. It is also important to keep in mind that many companies have a minimum price to come out and do work or even give quotes.

If there are no online reviews, ask them for referrals. If a tree removal company is reputable, you won't be their first client. It's perfectly acceptable to ask for references on your initial call, and if a removal company won't provide referrals, it's time to move on.
Find out what equipment they use. Some types of tree removal equipment are better than others, and a removal company might need special tools to get your particular job done. On your first conversation with a prospective removal company, make sure that you clearly express the nature of the job you want accomplished and receive assurances that the company has the proper equipment.
Consider all of the costs. Always ask for an estimate up-front. Inquire about the job itself and any potential hidden fees that you might not be aware of.

To have a fallen tree removed near your home, you can expect to pay between $100 to $500. Your local tree removal professional will most likely just need to cut and remove the tree from your property, but factors like the size of the tree and its trunk diameter impact this cost. In addition, there will be an extra cost to fill in the hole left by the tree, and while you have your tree removal specialist on-site, it might be worth it to have them inspect the other trees in your yard for potential damage. Trees that have fallen onto your home or another structure, will likely be more costly to remove.

The minimum cost is $500 to $1,000, as disposal of tree debris is between $200 and $300 per load.
Answered by Jeff Searles at Lakeshore Tree Care in Chanhassen, MN on 01/08/25
Costs can range from $500 up to $2,000, on average. It depends on the size of the tree, the location, accessibility, if there are hazardous conditions surrounding the tree and the environment, and if other work is being done on the property along with fallen tree removal.
Answered by Elan Flores at Flores Artscape in Los Angeles, CA on 01/07/25
It really depends on if it's just lying on the ground or if it fell on a structure. The cost could be anywhere from $500 to $10,000. There's a wide price range because some fallen trees are really easy to remove, while others are very difficult and require a crane.
Answered by Kenneth Kirlin at Carolina Tree Trimmers LLC in Summerville, SC on 01/06/25
You can expect to pay about $1,000 to $4,000 to have a fallen tree removed. Trees that have fallen require more labor to remove than one that's standing.
Answered by Jeremiah Erickson at Chameleon Property Services LLC in Albany, NY on 01/13/25
Budget over $1,500 if you need a tree removed from your yard that’s larger than 80 feet. Large tree removal is a significant project that requires a crane, and the overall price will increase if the tree is close to your house. Typically, smaller trees can cost as low as $8 per foot to remove, while larger trees (over 80 feet) can cost at least $15 per foot.
