I love these guys! Prompt, courteous, good value and just a pleasure to do business with. Have tried others before finding Stubby's. Wont use anyone else.

On time, excellent product, nice people!

It went great. Firewood was dry and of good quality and stacked neatly. I didn't have to lift a finger.

Denis was prompt and stacked the wood just where I wanted it. He had helpers so it went quickly. Purchased a fireplace cord (4'x8'x16") ends were stacked criss-cross to support the stack so you do lose a little in amount, but the quality of the wood is great.

Absolutely amazing experience. From the ordering through Angie's List through scheduling and delivery. Denis and his three young boys scheduled and showed up at 8am Saturday morning after a long drive from the St. Cloud area to the Southeast Metro. Large industrial pickup truck and two contractor wheelbarrows. Denis and the three boys got right to work like a manufacturing line. Two boys in the back of the truck loading the empty wheelbarrows while Denis and the other boy wheeled, unloaded and stacked in two backyard locations. He asked if it was OK to stack against the house wall (taking care) and even leveled out our firewood rack as it was sinking in the still wet soil. Denis measured carefully LxH to make sure it was the contracted amount and then the three boys diligently swept up the driveway where they were unloading for all wood scraps and dust. Kind, honest, detail-oriented and hardworking! 30 minutes in and out!

We had a fireplace cord delivered. Stubby's are professionals. They come when they promise, stack nice wood exactly where you need it, for exactly what they quoted, and then they're on to the next part of their day. What else can anyone wish for!

I have worked with them. They are amazing. They deliver as promised, stack all my wood, well corded, the delivery guys were really on time and respectful. They did a super great job of stacking it. I will only use them from now on. They delivered the firewood right before Christmas November of 2016. The price was reasonable and I was willing to pay it.

Ordered through Angies list. I was contacted shortly after placing my order to schedule the delivery. The quality of the wood is great and they delivered, stacked, and cleaned up. Great expierence, I will be ordering from them again.

Delivery was on time, they stacked the firewood beautifully, and the wood is excellent. We have used Stubby's previously and will continue to call them when we need firewood.

Denis and team arrived promptly at the agreed upon time, assessed the situation and got right to work moving and stacking the firewood. I was putting off getting a delivery but Stubby's made it easy. Denis was professional, clean, and easy to work with. I highly recommended them.

Delivery time was confirmed and they arrived on time. The firewood was carefully stacked and readily apparent that it's seasoned. Once finished, the garage floor was swept clean of wood chips. Even the area beneath the rack where the wood was stacked was swept clean. A customer service effort that was above & beyond my expectations! This is my third year using Stubby's and I look forward to using them for years to come.

These guys are the best. Dennis confirmed the delivery time of "between 7:30 and 8:30" last night. Today they showed up at 7:45, exactly on time. They carefully stacked and measured the firewood and then swept up the debris from our driveway when they were finished. They stack very tightly and carefully. We have been buying firewood from Stubby's for a few years. The wood is very dry and high quality, they give a nice blend of sizes from smallish/kindling all the way up to bigger pieces that can burn for 45 minutes. It burns very well, catching easily and burning without snaps or pops. The pieces are uniform in length and easy to handle. Stubby's may not be the cheapest outfit out there, but you won't regret a single penny of the investment when you are enjoying a high quality, trouble-free fire. They get my highest possible rating!

Loved this company. Husband, wife and their little boy showed up promptly and right on time to deliver my firewood. What a cute family! I have been searching for years for good, hard, dry firewood, and this was definitely the best I've ever gotten in the decade I've had a fireplace. A mix of birch and really, hard long-burning, aged oak. Also, they were great about stacking the wood right where i wanted it -- which is kind of an inconvenient spot -- and swept up everything after. Will always call them when I need firewood in the future.

This was an excellent experience for me and I'm very pleased with their service and friendliness. I'm not an expert, but it appears to me that they gave me more wood than I paid for... in other words, they did not skimp! I called them on a Saturday and had to leave message. They returned my call within a couple of hours, apologizing as they were out making deliveries. They were very friendly and helpful on the phone, answering all of my questions. I arranged for a delivery the following Saturday. They said they would call the day before to coordinate a delivery time. As promised, they called and we scheduled a delivery time between 8-9 am. They showed up around 8:15. They unloaded the trailer and stacked the wood where I requested and did an excellent job. And they cleaned up afterwards. The best thing I can say about them is that they were conscientious about doing a good job and taking care not to cause any damage or problems to my property. They were very friendly. This is a family owned and operated business and they clearly care about taking care of their customers and making sure I was happy in every respect. And I am. I would easily recommend them and will be using them again. More businesses could learn from Stubby's customer service!

Very responsive. I called on a Friday afternoon. I had 1.5 fireplace cords stacked and ready in my garage by Saturday at noon. Nice in today's age to get a responsive vendor who is friendly and makes his appointments on time. Will most definitely use this service again.

They brought the fireplace wood and stacked in lightning speed, were cheerful and friendly while they did it.

Very courteous and professional service. Good quality firewood (white and red oak with some birch), called us back immediately and arrived when they said they would. Great stacking job and even cleaned up in the garage after they were done. Highly recommended.
