We were impressed with the promptness and punctuality, as well as the information he already had about our type of condo and what we might need. He shared a little more personal information than we wanted to know. The reason we chose another provider was we felt their units were more appropriate for our home.

I also called the Heating contractor for Costco for a second opinion. They (Marsh Plumbing) informed me that the heat exchanger was under warranty and that we just would have to pay the $1000 labor to install a replacement heat exchanger. Snelling never told us about that option. They were only interested in selling us a new furnace.

It went fantastic. We are in the process of getting our house on the market and they were very responsive. Excellent team of people!! From the receptionist to all the installers, an excellent company to work with and very knowledgeable.

My furnace was not turning on when the temperature setting was reached. I called early in the morning and Dave arrived around noon. He tightened some loose wires between the thermostat and the furnace, and replaced the batteries in the thermostat. He checked and tested the furnace, and found nothing else wrong. A week later the same problem developed, so I called again and Mike D. arrived later that day. He replaced the ignition control module and the furnace worked fine after that.

We returned from a mid-winter trip to find our four-year-old Lennox furnace had stopped working, It was installed by Snelling and we called them to fix it. We have a complex 3-zone heating system in our house which made the resolution more difficult for the technicians. The problem turned out to be in the electronic control systems and it took them several tries to both figure out the problem and get it corrected. At one point I had a call from the company owner who apologized for the difficulties and said it was indeed their problem. When the dust settled, Snelling charged me only for some old parts that were replaced in the zone system since the furnace was under warranty and it took several visits for them to learn about the system and make the proper repairs. While the failure of the furnace was not their fault and the system was one they don't encounter on a regular basis, they did keep at it and always responded to my calls. We ended up being a training experience for their techs, but I would still call them again. The time it took to resolve the issue is the reason for the "B" rating. They have done other work for us which has always been excellent.

It went well!! I was worried that they would have to cut holes in the finished ceiling, but they were able to get the piping in without doing any cutting. The only hiccup was with the new thermostat. After testing the new AC, I switched the thermostat back to heat and just as Snelling pulled out to leave, I noticed that the furnace was not coming on. I wasn't able to catch them. So I immediately called them and they sent someone out within the hour. He was able he to discover that the thermostat was defective ( I guess that they get a bad batch from Honeywell every so often), replaced it and everything has been great since!!! A+

They installed a water heater and removed the old one. They were very punctual and did what I expected.

Very pleased with this company. My initial inquiry was promptly responded to. The job was estimated accurately. Options were presented but there was no attempt to upsell or pressure me to take the more expensive choices. The job was performed exactly as promised. The crew was polite and cleaned up the work area. Snelling Co. dealt with all of the permits, and when there was an issue from the city with one of the permits, they got involved and straightened everything out. Once the job was done, they followed up to make sure we got the credits from Xcel for the new boiler/water heater. The entire job was done professionally from beginning to end. I would recommend Snelling Co. without reservations. I am very pleased with their services.

The neat thing is that Snelling figured out what parts were under warranty for me and without them doing that, the services would have cost me almost triple! They are just very trustworthy and I really appreciated them going the extra mile for me. The service technician Mike is super fabulous, very trustworthy and awesome! There customer service is exceptional. Every time I call them, whoever answers the phone always has an answer for me. Every one is always very cheerful and every one has a can-do attitude. They were a real joy to work with!

Our water heater wasn't working. The technician cleaned it out and started the pilot light. (about $150.) He said it was the first and cheapest thing to do but it might need a new part installed. A couple hours later: no hot water. We called the office just as it was closing and told them the problem. The very pleasant young woman stayed late and tried contacting our technician. Although he was the "emergency on-call" that evening she couldn't get him on the line. We tried calling him ourselves later in the evening but couldn't get him either. The funny thing was he said the office tried confirming we were home before his visit that day and couldn't get us either. Don't know if something was going on with the cell phone towers or what. The next day we called again, he came out, installed the part (159), and we have hot water!

The service was not cheap and two persons came out. It took them about 6 hours. They did the furnace and air conditioning. They told me they had to tear down a wall and they did that for like an extra $50 and I thought they were going to leave the stuff for me to haul it out and they hauled it away. I really like that and I did not expect that. They said they would be here at 8 and they were here like 7:45.

By 8:00 Bob still had not shown up and I phoned the main office at 8:10am. I explained the situation and that I had not received a call from Bob letting me know he was going to be late. They confirmed that Bob was indeed supposed to be at the address at 7:30 and put me on hold while they phoned him. They came back on the line and stated Bob was still at least 10 minutes out, and, "I guess he could have phoned you to let you know he'd be late." Not receiving a call was a bit upsetting to me as I had specifically given Bob my cell# when we set the appointment so he would keep in touch with me about either needing to cancel the appointment or if he was going to be late. Because Bob would have ended up being about 1 hour or more late for the appointment and because I didn't receive a call to let me know about it I have to conclude that Snelling finds this behavior acceptable. I do not. I will take my business to a more professional heating contractor.

On Wednesday, 11/12/14, we woke up to find part of our house very cold because our furnace wasn't working. We called Snelling around 7 am and left a message. A little after 7:30 they called back and were able to schedule a technician to come out to our house a little after lunch. He came out and replaced our gas valve and had the furnace up and running again. It was a little over $430, but with the 10% discount it came to $393. On Friday, 11/14/14, we woke up to cold house and found that our furnace was once again not working. We called around 7:30 in the morning and before 8 am got a call back and they were able to send a technician out within an hour. Around 9 am, Mike showed up to take a look at the furnace. He was very professional and very nice. Within 40 minutes he replaced our pressure switch, had the furnace back up and running and didn't charge us anything! I am very pleased with the courteousness, professionalism and responsiveness of Snelling and will definitely be calling them the next time we have a problem.

First contact was on October 14th after I had been awakened throughout the night by the sound of water slowly dripping out of my radiators. I first contacted another highly rated business, but was told they were scheduled up for a couple weeks. I contacted Snelling, and they had a service person out the next day (10/15). They worked around my schedule by agreeing to let me know when their worker was leaving their morning appointment, so I could leave work and meet them at my house. He was professional; assessed the leak and said I needed a new pump. Given the age of the boiler and the cost of the pump, I decided to get a replacement estimate. I was contacted by their replacement estimator, and we arranged a time that worked for both of us the following Monday. On that day, he was punctual, and directly got to work examining my old boiler, plumbing and electrical systems, and chimney. He put together an estimate which included both the boiler and a hot water heater (which are side-by-side in the basement). I accepted the proposal. He said the work would start on 11/4, although there was a chance it could start sooner. I got a call the next day saying that the job the crew worked on that morning went well and they could start mine that day (Tuesday, 10/21). I slipped out of work mid-day to let them in and show them where everything was, and by the time I got back from work, the new hot water heater was in place and working. They had other scheduled work and weren't able to return to finish up the boiler until Monday, 10/27 (more than a week before the original estimate). They arrived early (as they had said would) and were finished by the time I got back from work. Everything has worked perfectly; they billed me what their estimate proposal said, and they did a reasonable job of cleaning up the main messes each day. They were professional, punctual, responsible throughout. And while I might have been able to find a somewhat less costly alternative, theirs was from what I can tell reasonable. And their quick response and work -- getting me a replacement boiler before the colder weather hit -- was worth any extra cost.

Technician quickly identified the problem and corrected the issue.

They were done in a little over two hours and left the house clean and warming up. Bob gave me extensive answers to my questions about plans for extending the system to additional radiators and the prospects for altering the distribution of hot water to underperforming radiators. Both Bob and Chris were friendly, mindful, and quick. The price was high for roughly 5 man-hours and few parts, but I hadn't pressed for a written estimate at the start, which might've reduced sticker shock or imposed some limits on cost. I would ask for a written estimate before committing to engage Snelling--or anyone--again. Apart from that caveat, I can endorse the quality of their work without reservation. I should also note: Snelling was recommended to me by a smaller company when they were overbooked due to the beginning of the heating season, and they were flexible and prompt in accommodating my schedule. Availability at this time of year counted for a lot in my decision to follow through with hiring them.

During a routine boiler tune-up with another company, they found corrosion around the combustion chamber and they had to shut it off. I got bids from 3 companies and Snelling was not only quick to call me back but they were the most reasonable bid - $1,800 less than the next bid for a slightly more efficient boiler and a programmable thermostat. They had great reviews on Angie's list and when the sales person came he looked over the entire house and took measurements to see how much needed to be heated. Another company just handed me their standard pice list. The new boiler was installed just in time for first fall cold spell. They arrived on time and had everything installed and cleaned up by mid-afternoon. So far it has been working well and the city inspector just left and said that they did a good job with the installation.

Went as good as you could possibly expect considering this was a Sunday. We left an emergency message on their line and the phone call was returned within 15 minutes. The service provider was there in under an hour and the total time spent from phone call to fixed and working furnace was under 2 hours. He told us upfront we would have a $149 week-end call charge before we ok'd him to come. Not only did he help with the igniter, he also gave us tips on what to watch for on our brand furnace. And he didn't stop there, he told us NOT to put a tarp on our condenser (or whatever it's called) for the air conditioner outside, just to use a piece of plywood, so we don't invite critters to live under it in the winter and chew the cords. Amazingly helpful overall, we're so relieved.

Our 9 year old water heater stopped giving us hot water. Dave came out at the time expected. Found the problem and we have hot water again.

There was a clog in my drain, which was making my A/C not function properly. I called and scheduled an appointment for my A/C, they were on time and did a very good job.

It was good. They're topnotch, they're pretty good. They were right on time.

These guys really know what they are doing. They had appointments available very soon after I called, showed up on time, and worked quickly. Dave was respectful and polite, and answered all of our questions. He informed me that we would need a new unit soon, but didn't give us a sales pitch.
