They were decent and we would use them again.

They did a very nice job. Bob did a nice job of explaining to me what I would need and what I would not need. The three technicians that came out did a nice job installing and making sure that everything was cleaned up and working properly.

Excellent service! We called the Snelling emergency number on July 4th in the early evening and a technician was able to stop by in an hour.This was the hottest day of the year and our AC unit stopped working. It turned out to be a minor problem which was readily diagnosed. The tech (Wyatt) checked for other possible malfunctions but everything else was working well. Wyatt was pleasant and easy to deal with and answered all my questions. I wouldn't hesitate to call Snelling again

Perfect. Called yesterday afternoon about my air conditioner malfunctioning. A cheerful voice on the otherside made me an appointment for this morning. Tech arrived on time, was very professional, efficient and knowledgable about my specific air conditioner. Had the ac fixed in minutes. Checked the rest of the ac system. He reassured me that we have a dependable and efficient unit still and it wasn't time for us to start looking at a new one. Overall was a very painless experience.

The flame went out on our boiler on a Friday night, and I couldn't get the pilot to re- light. With snow in the forecast, waiting until Monday was not an option. After trying to reach several providers that claimed to offer 24-hour service, I finally got a quick call back from Chad at Snelling. He was nearby, and arrived at our house in about 15 minutes. He immediately honed in on the problem part, got it firing again, and in less than 5 minutes the pilot was burning. Chad was very pleasant and professional, and the service could not have been faster or better. I will be using Snelling to replace the defective part and to do regular servicing on my boiler. I would definitely recommend Snelling to others.

The initial estimate was done by Bob Webber, who advised me on the full details of the air conditioning requirement for my house square footage. My communication started with an online request (Thank you Snelling Company for having this on your web site)! I chose Snelling Company over another company's cheaper bid - they would have installed a non-Lennox A/C that was less efficient. The discussions with Bob were very helpful, as he had looked up my house online in advance and had helpful suggestions on which Lennox model I really needed for my house. When he came over he was very helpful in answering my questions and we set up the additional work. I was very happy to know the crew that was doing the work was very experienced. Other companies have not had the Lennox furnace expertise that Snelling Company employees have, and I went with the bid from Snelling Company since they did the furnace installation for me 14 years ago and are always the most knowledgeable and professional (and personable and aware of the cost decisions being critical). The project was expensive but exactly fits what I wanted and will probably be good for at least 30 years!

He was great. He knew what he was doing and got it done in a timely manner. Punctual and kind.

Mike arrived promptly and started working on the furnace intake extension. I had trouble in the past with snow drifts blocking the intake, so I asked him to put a vertical extension on it. He also did the standard furnace maintenance that I have done every other year.

A tree branch fell on 3/27/12, knocking down the power line to the house and pulling the mast off the exterior wall. I checked Angie's List, found that Snelling had good reports and put in a service call that evening. (This is not the kind of service that you have time to compare prices, etc.) An electrician was here by 1:00 the next day and we had our power back on by 4pm. We needed a new meter, mast and some wiring. Considering the circumstances, it was a very positive experience. I have no idea if the pricing was high or low, but we were able to use the Angie's List discount of 10%.

Last fall, we had a brand new boiler/furnace installed in our home. Our sales rep, Jon P, was low key and extremely knowledgable, both of which I appreciated. The work was done by a very experienced installer in a timely and professional manner. I waited a few months before writing this review to see if any problems would occur. They have not. Our installer warned us that there may be a few "clicks" in our hot water heat system that would diminish with time. They did. We have had no problems with our new furnace. Even though the estimate was very slightly higher (but still very competative) than our other bids, we chose Snelling because of the Buderus brand (made by Bosch company) and mostly because we felt confident of the information they provided prior to installation. We haven't been disappointed. I recommend them!

I have been extremely happy with them. We have used them and our previous owners have used them. I have never worried about the gentleman whom they send out. They have come to my house every year since we moved to his house in 1973. I have never had any feeling of discomfort having any service representative from this company. Sometimes you wonder about people coming into your house. I have always felt absolutely comfortable with the men they send. They walk through and explain things to me, so that I understand things better. They are willing to work with me. I would use them in the future.

I have used Snelling Co for repairs to my furnace in the past and they have always done a good job. I decided to use them to purchase and install my new furnace because I know their quality of work is good. They also offer fair pricing.

We had called them at 5, and Chad was here by 5:50! The wiring issue was fixed by 6:10. Pretty sweet!

I woke up and house was 10 degrees colder than normal. I investigated with XCEL first but they said there were no gas problems. Snelling installed the furnace so I called them next at 7:45am. A technician called 10 minutes later and said he was on the way. Turns out the furnace combution was working OK. The problem was with the blower motor. Instead of replacing the motor he first tried to replace the motor capacitor. The technician measured the current (amps) in both the heating and cooling modes and was satisfied that the new capacitor solved the problem. Since he had the parts for my discontinued furnace we also replaced the flapper valve (supposed to be replaced every two years, but it was 5 since it was last replaced). This was an effective repair on a furnace that is now discontinued. I'm really glad I did not have to replace the motor. The furnace and blower have continued to operate reliably since the repair. The whole event only took an hour. from the time I first called and when the technician left. WOW

It was a few years ago, but I thought they did a fine job. We were trying to alleviate some dust in the home, and we were expecting much more of an improvement. I don’t think that’s a reflection of the company, just duct cleaning in general.

I was very pleased with the service and would be using this company in the future when needed.

I called for a quote and he asked what was happening. When I described it to him he offered to provide advice over the phone. From my basic description he immediately knew what the problem was and how to fix it. I followed his instructions and fixed my furnace myself in minutes. I was amazed by his knowledge and precision! I wouldn't expect most people's furnace issues to be as trivial as my experience was but this experience proves both his knowledge and integrity!

I had boiler and radiator problems. A technician from Snelling Co. came to my house to evaluate things on a Friday. He said he needed to get a part and make a call regarding the boiler, and that he would be back the following Monday. A week from the following Monday I called to see what had happened to him. They said they'd be back in touch. Another week went by so I called again and they again said they'd get back to me. A few days later I called AGAIN and they said they'd send someone out in about 5 days. I told them to forget it. In the meantime the weather had gone from warm to cold and our plans to have this taken care of before the house was freezing were out the window. I have no idea why their service was so poor.

The service call went well and everything was done satisfactorily.

We were pleased that Snelling provided emergency service on weekends in the summer when several contractors did not. I contacted them late in the afternoon on a Saturday, and they were able to come by 9 AM on Sunday. The technician determined that the blower module was bad. The only available replacement he had was from a different manufacturer because they were not a Carrier distributor. The replacement got the air conditioner working, and I was told they would order the correct module and come back a replace it at no cost. I called the contractor several weeks later, when I had not heard from them, and I was advised by the technician that the specs on the replacement module were nearly identical to the original part; so no Carrier replacement part was needed. I called back a week later because the air conditioner was not performing normally. The service supervisor said they had the correct Carrier part, and a technician came out and installed it the same day. Our furnace/air conditioner was still not performing; so I asked them to come out again. The technician that came this time discovered that an incorrect module had been installed because another manufacturer's module had been put in a Carrier box. The correct module was installed. Our furnace/air conditioner is now operating properly.

Our AC went out on Friday of a very hot weekend in August. The first company we called took a look, and the guy said that a wire had blown because of the old compressor in the AC. He fixed the wire, but told us the problem might reoccur, and that the compressor should be replaced. The problem did reoccur, that same night, and we spent a very hot weekend in our house! After having two different companies look at the AC early next week, and learning that you can't just put a new compressor in an old AC unit without running into new problems (which turned us off the first company we called), we decided to go with Snelling Co, because they seamed the most experienced and knowledgeable. Their representative Bob also told us that our old furnace was actually an even bigger problem than the old AC, since it worked on about 60% efficiency and cost us a lot of money each winter. He just seamed honestly concerned with improving our heating- and cooling situation, and to save us money in the long run. We learned that if we replace the AC and furnace at the same time with new ones that have the Energy Star, we would get about $1500 back in tax rebates. That really sealed the deal for us, because it brought our price down to about $7500, and we felt that we would be heating and cooling our house at a much lower cost for us and the environment. Bob also told us that our waterheater was sitting in a spot that would make it impossible for us to put high quality filters into our new furnace that only need to be replaced once a year. We decided to go with his advice and have them move the waterheater, so we woudn't have to change filters every month, which we most likely would not remember to do. Again, we were impressed with his knowledgeability. All in all, it seams to us that we got excellent service and advice for a good price.

The person that came to the house was wonderful. He was knowledgeable and very helpful. I did not use them because I do not have the funds right now.
