Sela Roofing & Remodeling

We had some storm damage on our roof over the summer months and needed to find a contractor to replace it. We came across Sela and are so glad we did! The sales rep, Pat, came out to our home within just a few days, he was great. We had a brand new roof within a matter of weeks. Their crew got it done in one day and it looks great. Would highly recommend them! Great experience working with them overall.

I have heard nothing but bad reviews about Sela Roofing from people, despite the generally good ones on the internet, and I thought that maybe they had upped their game. Apparently not. While replacing our roof, there were several instances of old materials being dumped in our hallway, but they were generally cleaned within 24 hours. Then as they got further along, some blue glue glop leaked down a wall and onto the carpet. They had to replace the long strip of carpeting, but when they did did so with the wrong color. Now, this morning, about 2 weeks or so after finishing, we have two leaks in our condo. One of them is where a previous leak (and many others) led to the roof being replaced, another a brand new one. There is also a new leak in our hallway. After the long wait to get full use of our facilities restored while they completed their task, this morning we are wondering what the heck is next from these clowns?

Sela was excellent in all aspects - was able to schedule work quickly after the hail incident and Crews were excellent as well!! Would highly recommend them.

Two years ago when a major hail storm hit, we called on SELA to repair our home. We had never had to handle such a large home re-construction process before; SELA’s project manager, Pat Hall, walked us through it. Pat was very timely with all communication. We could tell that SELA's staff and crews were honest and straightforward in all of their dealings with us and the insurance company. What makes them stand high above other contractors is that every crew they sent had worked with them for years, had appropriate certifications, and maintained a high standard of professionalism, excellence in their work and courtesy. Every piece of the project was done meticulously. Over a year later, the quality of the work they did is still apparent. Some of our neighbors hired less reliable companies whose fly-by-night siding subcontractors walked off their jobsite, leaving their houses exposed to the elements until another crew could be found. Also, several neighbors had to have all of their Hardie siding ripped off and re-done less than a year later due to shoddy workmanship. They should have hired SELA! We hope that we never have such extensive storm damage again, but we would call SELA again if the need ever arose.

This is the second roof that Sela has done for me. The new one replaces the roof they did for me 23 years ago. Great work both times. Hard working and efficient crews. Tear-off to completion about 11 hours. Excellent clean up. I highly recommend Sela for your roofing needs.

I searched for a long time to get a roof replaced and find a contractor I believed would do a good job at a fair price. I finally decided on Sela. They replaced the roof on time and at the price they stated. The job site was cleaned up and the dumpster removed immediately. The very next year I had 6 houses damaged by the hail storm in 2017. I contacted Sela and they walked through all the damage with me and the insurance company. Pat and his crew were most helpful in determining the damages. There were numerous houses that needed roofs, siding, gutters, facia, etc. Sela worked with me in a timely manner to get the repairs done and addressed any concerns I had after the job was completed immediately. I would recommend Sela and use them again.

It went great. Sela walked us through the whole process and handled all of our questions and concerns in a very professional manner. The roof replacement went great and they left the yard spotless. They were about the middle of the bids, but the service was worth it. The roof looks great and the warrantee provides peace of mind should any concerns crop up in the future. Recommended.

Sela performed either multiple tasks on several of our properties that had storm damage, including our personal residence. The work they completed was either roofing, gutters and/or siding work. Some of the properties had multiple things to do. Sela completed each property one at a time and were always on time, worked efficiently, and if I had any questions, Pat was always available to speak to either my husband or I and answered any questions. If anything needed touched up, they came out and did so immediately. Due to the volume of tasks they had to perform and how well they completed everything to satisfaction, I would definitely use them again as well as recommend them.

Had our siding done on our home this summer by Sela; I would strongly recommend them. The salesman was down to earth and honest, not blowing smoke like salesmen do. The siding crew did A+ work, very personable and friendly and seemed interested in paint options I was doing myself for window trim and garage door. Answered my many questions with a smile:) Project manager was always available to answer cost questions and kept us updated via email. Overall a great experience.

Sela replaced my roof in 2018 as they did in 2004. Both times were due to storms. We were very satisfied with the results. Excellent workmanship, clean-up was impressive and the roof looks great. I would use Sela again and would recommend them to anyone

Sela did a thorough, accurate repair and/or replacement of the downspouts, aluminum window wrapping, and turtle vents as a result of a hailstorm in the fall of 2018. As promised, they performed the work as soon as the weather warmed up sufficiently this spring. The crews were courteous, and they answered any questions I had. Furthermore, the people I dealt with last fall (Sela representative who came out to our home) and this spring (billing representative) were altogether courteous and knowledgeable. I was particularly pleased that, once the work was completed, Sela sent the necessary paperwork to my insurance company (verifying that the work had been completed). I would not hesitate to work with Sela again, and I would certainly recommend Sela to others who need work done on their home (particularly storm damage repair, which was our experience).

We were on a tight deadline to have our roof replaced. We received three different bids and Sela's was the lowest bid. We compared materials being used (warranty of shingle, water & Ice protection, new roof vents and valley metal), we also compared the processes being performed and everything was comparable. Before we awarded the bid to Sela, we had one of the other bidder’s review Sela's quote and they also agreed that Sela bid the job very competitively. What we also like about Sela was their flexibility in our schedule. They were able to accommodate our quick turn around and was also flexible when we had several days of bad weather. They provided us with a brochure of shingle options (manufacture, durability, warranty and color). The sales rep was onsite to discuss all the options with us and left the brochure, so we could take the time we needed to review and make our decision. When the job was complete (took 1 1/2 days) as we have a large roof. Everything was cleaned up to the point you wouldn't have noticed a crew was even there. Our neighbors made several comments on how nice the roof looks too. Sela's back office accounts payable was easy to work with too. They collect a partial payment up front and then the rest was due a month after the completion of the job. This was a simple process from the first phone call to the final bill. Based on the outcome, I have recommended Sela and will continue to do so. My wife and I are very pleased with the work they did.

Called Sela on a Friday, they returned me a quote the next Monday, and they were out re-roofing my house the following Monday. Awesome job, very professional. both sales and service team. Quality outstanding, cut in a skylight, made customized flashing and valleys, will use them again in a heartbeat!

I needed to have my roof replaced from the hail damage from the storm of June 2017. SELA was recommended to me by my insurance agent. They were professional and prompt to reply to my questions. Their crew did a great job replacing the roof and also doing some siding repairs. I would recommend them to others!

Everything went very well. The estimator had my best interest in mind and offered several different options and suggested improvements. The installers were very professional, neat and prompt. All the work was done as promised and no call-backs were needed. Each crew left a clean work site. I was able to talk to the installers and learn a few things about my new roof, gutters and downspouts.

Asked SELA to inspect roof after a hailstorm. Jared promptly came out to inspect and explain my roofing options. I was able to upgrade both singles, venting and gutters with the insurance claim amount.After I sent the estimate to my insurance company, SELA handled all further interaction with insurance adjusters which I found very helpful. Due to cold weather approaching I asked to delay project until spring which they willingly agreed to. They rescheduled the repair to my desired date and again dealt with the Insurance for cost changes. The roofing and gutters were installed over 2 days and they did a great job with all the work and clean up. All details were spot-on. .At the end, I was presented a bill for the exact amount the insurance company had sent me, with no extra charges. This is as good as it gets! Thanks SELA

We have worked with "Sela Roofing and Re-modelling" for multiple occasions and projects staring from the year of 1997. Sela staff was punctual and he communicated clearly with us. Technicians explained everything in detail. On the day of installation, they arrived promptly and completed the job by the time they estimated. Backyard and front yard was cleaned after roof and siding job. Our neighborhood and surrounding areas suffered major damage from an extreme hailstorm in June of 2017. With the large number of claims expected, several unknown contractors had visited many of our neighborhoods, including our own. My skepticism was at a high level- many of these companies were not local! I was aware of the quality and known name of Sela, so I had contacted them and spoke to Pat Hall. Pat came out and professionally, described the process and took pictures and measurements. Sela handles the insurance side of the process with ease (my insurance adjuster stated that Sela was a good contractor and they work well with them, helping to confirm my decision to choose Sela). The communication through the whole process was excellent, and the final product exceeded my expectations. The house’s curb appeal has increased with a new roof, new trim around the windows and garage door, and new gutters- it looks great! Thanks to Pat and Sela for their professional work!
