They arrived on time, got right to business, taking care not to further damage a broken leg the piano sits on. They piano arrived at it's new location on time and in good condition! Reasonable Price too!

The move went as promised. No problems at all with the crew. Pleasant, on time, and economical.
Description of Work: We selected this company on the basis of the many favorable reviews on Angie's List and were not disappointed. They moved a large heavy old upright piano from Minnetonka to Minneapolis. We would definitely use them again.

They were able to set a date in advance and call the night before with a two-hour window for their arrival. This was fine, and they also called me when they were 20 minutes away. The move itself went fine, down a few front steps using their ramp at the first location and through a somewhat narrow door at the destination. They had to unhinge and remove the door, which wasn't a problem. Everything went smoothly and I was pleased with the move.

A crew of 3 arrived on time to remove an unrepairable baby grand piano for disposal. They had to carry it down 3 sets of stairs with sharp turns and knew exactly what they were doing. They were prompt, courteous and reasonably priced for the job. I would recommend them to anyone needing the same service.

After looking through previous reports on this company I decided to contact them about moving a piano. I was not disappointed. They were very friendly and professional on the phone. They gave me an estimate as to what the move would cost based on the info I provided. I decided to schedule the move. True to their word they contacted me the night before the move to provide a two hour window of time in which they would arrive, as well calling me 1/2 hour prior to their arrival on the day of the move to let me know they were on their way. They were very prompt, which was greatly appreciated. The move went very quick, and the movers, including Kurt, the owner, was friendly and professional. I was not disappointed in this company's service. I would use them again and would definitely recommend them to others.

I contacted four different piano movers for estimates, and Piano Movers Extraordinaire came in the lowest by over $50! With that added to the great reviews on Angie's List, I decided to go with them, and, as expected, they did a great job. They did everything as promised: called the night before (to both the pick-up and delivery addresses) to give a time window for service, called 20 min. prior to drop-off, and picked up and dropped off efficiently (drop off took less than 10 minutes) within those windows. The delivery guys were obviously experienced, but also friendly. I'm very satisfied.

I paid the same amount I was quoted. They came with a crew of 3 and had the appropriate equipment (a dolly for the piano, protective pads for my wood floors). It only took them a few minutes to move the piano into place. They left no damage or dirt and there were no surprises.

Good communication the evening before to confirm the time. I switched destinations Saturday monring and the accomodated with only a nominal $20.00 additional charge. Called in advance of arrival and were very prompt. I think it took only 5-10 minutes to get it out of my home.

Scheduling was easy. They were prompt, efficient and friendly. They were great about giving me 30 minutes notice so that I could meet them at the first location. They were careful not to damage the walls, floors or piano at either location. Their estimate (and final cost) was $25.00 less than the other estimate that we received.

Everything went very well. The price we were quoted was the price we paid. They called us the night before the move to confirm the time and location. They called the morning of the move to confirm the time of arrival. The movers arrived on time, they looked at the house, they moved the piano, and they gave us advice as to how to acclimate the piano to the house after being on a moving truck in sub-freezing temperatures.

The woman on the phone and email was very helpful. There were three routes the piano could go and she helped find the least expensive. She quoted me $165 and that is what they charged. They gave me a 2 hour window and came in that window. The entire move took them at most 15 minutes. They were very friendly and they were patient with my young kids' curious questions.

From start to finish, the move went smoothly. The price was exactly as quoted, and the crew arrived during the appointed time frame. They were very polite and efficient. They called fifteen minutes before they arrived to let us know that they were on the way. I wanted to follow them to the new location, and they changed their deliveries to accommodate me. The crew even moved the piano twice inside the new home at the request of the new owner (who misjudged the piano size initially).

They picked up the Piano in Paynesville on time and arrive in South Minneapolis on time. They quickly set up, delivered, and positioned the piano. In hindsight, I wish I would have purchased the piano "coasters" from them. I didn't at the time, as they only sell in sets of three for grand pianos. However, in hindsight, I didn't save any money by buying a set of four, and their's looked better.

Called for an estimate and the company said $130. I told them that the Angie's List ratings stated that people had a piano moved in a truck for that amount. The person I spoke with said that he didn't believe that, and there was a minimum charge. I ended up using this company because the ratings of one other mover in my area was not reassuring.

Very professional on the phone. They were able to schedule next day had I been available, and were flexible based on my schedule. Called both houses the night before to confirm window during which they'd arrive, and they arrived promptly during that period. The move went smoothly. Price was same or better to other quotes we received, and they were able to respond more quickly.

Extremely well. They came within two days of being contacted. They arrived within the time window specified. It took them about 15 minutes to move the piano out of the first house and about the same amount of time to move it into the second house. They did no damage to anything. They were professional and polite.

The movers were very courteous on the phone. They warned us that they might not be able to move it out if it was put in the basement before the house was finished (it was there when we moved in). They called the night before, gave us a 2 1/2 hour window, and arrived on time. Once they got to our house, they took very careful measurements and were very friendly and helpful. They moved the piano up the stairs, outside, and into their truck without scratching up the carpet or walls at all (which was really quite amazing, because it was such a tight fit. I wouldn't have been upset if they had left some dings, since there wasn't much room for error). And they were careful not to damage the piano too, even though we wanted them to dispose of it for us. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone moving a piano.

They were very punctual and careful. To get the piano from the truck to my front door they had to navigate a hill and many steps; they didn't complain at all. Piano Mover Extraordinaire, superb service. The scheduler on the phone was great and upfront about days/hours of service. Days that were busier and less busy. How their moving schedule route worked. To determine estimate for cost, they asked for size of pianos, number of steps at each house, and of course, suburb locations. The movers called the night before with a two and one-half hour range of anticipated arrival for the next day. Arrived on schedule at early end of range. Piano moving done with great care. We would highly recommend to anyone seeking best care for their instruments.
Description of Work: They moved 2 pianos in a drive involving homes in three suburbs moving one piano from a home in one Twin Cities suburb to a home in another suburb. Then, moving a different piano from the second home to a home in a third suburb. First two houses only had a couple steps each. Third house had total of 9 steps with seven in a rather tight downward stairs.
