We were getting our house staged for sale and decided to get our floors refinished. Our antique upright grand piano weighs about 700 lbs and we needed it OUT...FAST! Piano Mover Extraordinaire was able to come pick up our piano four days. They moved it out without touching a wall or door frame. Then they hauled it away and stored it in their climate-controlled facility for two months until we were ready for it. Instead of merely delivering the piano to our rented moving truck as we thought we needed to have them do, they asked where its ultimate destination was. We told them it was 220 miles north, thinking that delivery there would be cost-prohibitive. Instead, we were amazed at the reasonable estimate. They were on-time, professional, experienced, and knowledgeable. They did not waste any time, efficiently and carefully moved our piano into our new place, and even advised us about a sloping floor and its effect on the piano. You simply cannot find someone more competent, reasonable, and professional to move your piano, whether you need it moved around your home or across the state. They were worth every penny!

It went well. The office didn't answer when I called either time, but responded back to my message within an hour. They set up appointments for a day, then on the day before they call you with your time window. Luckily I was able to flexible with any time of day, I didn't need a strict window on either day. So they called the day before and gave a 3 hour window. Then about 10 minutes before they arrived they called to let me know they were almost there. They did a fantastic job, were courteous, clean, and efficient. I was very satisfied with their services.

They did very well with the move in what I thought was a difficult physical layout. Curt was responsive to my questions and concerns. Very professional and reasonable. Would recommend.

These people were a dream come true. They were great to work with, very considerate of the homeowner, careful with the antiques. And the work they did was impeccable. This was not an easy house to clean with lots of big heavy furniture and expensive antiques. I can hardly say enough good things. I would hire again, and highly recommend them!

I needed our piano moved to our son's home. This company was punctual, and they called to alert me to there exact arrival time, and they were courteous, on task and delivered a piano safely to it's new location. I would definitely use them again.

The move went great. They were on time, personable & professional. I called 2 companies who had great reviews on Angie's List to get estimates. Since the other estimate was $170 and theirs was $100, I went with them and am glad I did.

The scheduling & price quote service was prompt, responsive and easy. They were $50 cheaper than other vendors. They were half and hour later than the two hour window, but did call ahead and were very accommodating to my request to be phoned 30 min before arrival (having given me a 2 hr window). They picked up the piano, were thorough and knowledgeable, moved items, gave an accurate estimate to when the piano would be delivered, and delivered and set up the piano and player piano computer components. They moved the piano when we decided we needed it in a different position than originally thought. They cleaned up after themselves and the packing materials. Great from start to finish.

They shared that they ONLY move Piano's. They are licensed and insured to move Piano's only. Good to know.

The entire experience was very professional, starting with the request for extensive measurements to estimate the feasibility and how many people would be needed. The movers were on time, efficient and very careful. They had to remove the doors, and carefully negotiated all 24 stairs without a mark on the walls, stairs, ceiling or doorways, or the piano. I would highly recommend this company.

I first corresponded with them by email (using their online form), got a response with an estimate. Was surprised that they could not give me a more firm timeframe to move the piano than between 7AM and 2PM on the intended day. I pushed the issue several times by email and on the phone. My seller wanted the piano moved early. I called another provider and surprisingly they could do much better. I ended up using Piano Movers Ext as they were less than the other estimate I received. The night before they gave me AND the seller a call and said between Noon and 2PM, luckily the seller made it work - that was good. They came the next day as promised and moved the piano and the move went fine. The workers were not rude but also not into much in the way of pleasantries but were gone in a few minutes. As you can probably tell in this day of online delivery appointment windows I'm frankly shocked that a closer window cannot be determined by these service providers and if / when someone out there provides it I feel that customers will be a path to their door.

The move went beautifully. The guys (three of them) were friendly, on-time and professional. They got the piano down the steps within about 3 minutes (keep in mind, these are very tight townhouse stairways) and loaded into the truck. They got the piano moved up another tight flight of stairs in the receiving household and did so without scratching the piano or the walls. They did a wonderful job. If I ever have to move a piano again (or know of someone who needs a move), I would HIGHLY recommend these guys. A+++

They were punctual, very professional and very careful. They were much more cost effective than a firm I had used earlier, especially given that this was a very short distance to move the piano, and all on one floor. I will most certainly call them again.

Called with an appointment time and arrived promptly. Moved piano easily and with care. Will use them to move the piano again after refinishing is complete.

I had an upright piano moved from Princeton to Minneapolis for $270. Called the company on a Monday and they had my piano moved that Thursday, very quick! The piano arrived at my house in good condition and there were no scratches or anything on my wood floor Whig I was worried about. This company did a great job and was super quick! I would definitely hire them again.

We needed a piano moved within five days. We called on a Wednesday and PME agreed to move it the next day, on Thursday. They called Wednesday evening to confirm the pick-up/delivery window and kept to that schedule the next day. The piano sellers called with some concerns over the movers: thought they were a bit gruff. They could have been a bit more courteous and customer centric, but they got the job done. Upon delivery they pointed out some previous damage to the piano, which we knew about, and made some suggestions about repairs. All in all, they got the job done, sooner than expected, and at a fair price.

PME was very responsive, were able to schedule the appointment on just a few days notice, and the final cost was the same as the estimate provided prior to scheduling the move. They called in advance and everything went smoothly. They two movers were very friendly. I would use them again.

They were really great. They were efficient and knew what they were doing. The price was reasonable.

Curt and Justin were right on time in the window we were given. They moved the piano from our upstairs down to the basement. They were great, they actually moved our piano in when we bought it so we were familiar with their work. Very no nonsense, got it done the same week we called, great job.

I would highly recommend Piano Movers Extraordinaire for their quality, price and promptness. They have moved three pianos for us and each time they have been very careful and each move has been executed flawlessly. They are very careful. However, I am needing to move another piano and their customer service has not been helpful. We are going to move the piano and store it for a month until we move into a new home. They are not able to accomodate a 5 hour time window and require that I be home all day to wait for their arrival. Because we are moving quickly, I was hoping for a more responsive company who can schedule ahead and give me a specific time frame. I realize that they do not know where they will be working from week to week, but they didn't even offer me an option to pay extra. Bottom line, their customer service is lacking. I will call someone else. If you want a company that will be careful with your piano and you don't need anything else, they are great.

Two movers were early and very efficiently moved our grand piano from a home to the lower level of a townhouse. Although they did not have to negotiate any steps, they had to carry it across the back lawn into the lower level of the townhouse. The job was done quickly as they went directly from our home to the townhouse. I recommend them.

We were getting an old piano from friends who had used Piano Movers Extraordinaire previously. I had contacted 2 other companies and PME gave me the best price. They were responsive by email and available within a few days. They contacted both the seller and us prior to arriving at the home. It took mere minutes for them to get the piano inside and moved. They were very professional and courteous. I really appreciated the work!

The move went smoothly and quickly. The movers had to manuever through a narrow stairway to a small hallway and did so with no problem. They were very easy to work with, provided their service on the date and time we requested, and were friendly and professional. I would recommend them to anyone looking for dependable piano movers.
