He did a great job and seemed very thorough. Answered all questions and was very polite.

They did exactly what they said they would, on time, and very professional. I had several other companies come out but none as knowledgeable. Price seemed high at first but the quality and knowledge was there. Easy to work with and kept us informed daily of the progress. I would definitely recommend them and I will use them again in the future for any chimney/fireplace needs. P.S. My chimney is 33 years old and they matched the old brick almost perfectly.

The individuals doing the work were professional, they kept me informed of their activity and progress, and completed on time. Jack Pixley company was easy to work with throughout the process and I would highly recommend them for chimney and brick work.

The service was excellent; the two staff members (Jim and Caleb) were on time, having called me to let me know their schedule. They wore face masks and were respectful of social distancing. They performed the inspection, showed me the images and how the work was done. They provided useful explanations, alternative suggestions, and information about alternatives and safety considerations. It was very helpful The dryer vent had not been cleaned for awhile. They inspected the vent, found defects, and repaired them along with the cleaning; above and beyond what would be expected in a routine procedure. They provided counsel on safety issues and did an excellent job.

Great! When the tech, Randy, is done, he gives us a “tour” of the chimney interior using a closed circuit camera on extension polls connected back to a monitor and computer so we can see for ourselves it’s condition. He vacuums out the fire box and has replaced broken tiles.

Appointment setup process was professional with minimal wait during the hot summer. Anton the the tech arrived onetime and was very knowledgeable offering options for converting an unused fireplace into firebox mounted TV. He sealed the chimney and provided a full report with photos for my records showing his work and chimney condition which I received by email. Very professional! I would not hesitate to use Jack Pixley Sweeps again!

They indicated the cap needed replacement. They replaced it on the second try as first cap was measured wrong. Then it rained and still leaked. Called and asked for an adjustment or to correct problem, was told they don’t guarantee there work and wasn’t anything more they could do. It appears there wasn’t anything wrong with the cap as no water ever came inside the chimney. I have now called the shingle guy so will see what they have to say.

Very thorough and even showed us what work was needed to be done. Chimney is clean! Extremely punctual and friendly - they are experts in what they are doing.

Thorough inspection of fireplace and boiler chimney liners in our 1923 duplex. The fireplace liners were rated unsafe and the technician said that replacement would be quite expensive - recommended gas instead. We were quite impressed with the inspection and information. And there was no charge! Definitely recommend this company.

It was fabulous, the three gentlemen were professional, as well as friendly. They were neat beyond belief. Everything was high and tight Everyday when they left. They even washed off the driveway before they were done. Would have them back in a flash, if we needed more work done. Great Job!!!!!!

This young man explained stuff to us that has never been explained before and was very helpful. He did a wonderful job and we had not complications as we have had a couple of times before. Would have him back anytime. The excellent job they do was worth the cost. We have used Pixley for years and have always been happy with their work.

Old cap and 11 rows of bricks were removed and replaced. Project was completed quickly and looks great. Also did and excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. Very nice people to work with.

We made an appointment last year for this spring. They called to give us a few days' warning. Arrived on time, explained the timeframe. Did the work. Left no mess.

Our gas fireplace insert was not working consistently. The technicians came and took measurements and gave options for returning to an open wood burning fire or a wood burning insert. They removed the gas insert and from their information, I know I need a wood burning fireplace insert. They also cleaned the fireplace and flue system. Excellent work! I will re-hire them to repair the brickwork, crown and flashing.

James was wonderful - he walked me through everything and even offered to check a few things that he didn't really need to but saw that it would give me peace of mind. I appreciated the thoughtfulness and thoroughness! We've had others out to give repair estimates and we've decided to go with Jack Pixley Sweeps. We will be having some sealing work done on our chimney and an installation of a gas and electric fireplace insert - will update the review as needed once the repair work has been completed.

Very good meeting, as the inspector was very professional, experienced and shared his expert knowledge by providing a conversational walk-through, while performing his testing and analysis of the history of the fireplaces, their current state of operation in terms of being up-to-code, their efficiency and safety with regards to any potential existing, visual hazards or risks. He was prompt, friendly and clean with his respect of the work area and with his equipment. He encouraged questions and provided explanations in layman terms; "what if" scenarios; clarified his opinions from his qualified recommendations regarding Next Steps required to ensure the best quality for the homeowners from each fireplace. Company has a long history with high standards and reputable with other professionals in the industry (e.g., plumbers required to install a new gas line for the installation of a gas insert fireplace). He shared his preliminary feedback on his findings on site with us and follow-up in less than a day with his report, detailing all the options involved for us to make an informed decision on the required work involved to make a fireplace "up to code" (including costs, time frame to complete each option, and priority for what must be handled urgently in the short term with the outside chimney vs the timing of the work to the inside fireplace for our budget planning). His report summarized our conversations during the inspection and pictures from his camera, so there were no surprises to us. He confirmed we had all our questions and concerns answered before he left that inspection. I’m confident I was well educated and informed to make our final decision.

Technician arrived on time, he informed me that cleaning was not necessary and performed a level 2 inspection. I received the report shortly after. All good. Everyone I spoke with were professional and knowledgeable. Great service. Saved me money and gave me peace of mind.
