Everything went great. Initial request via website was responded to very quickly, and appointment setup via email- much appreciated because I'm not always able to call. Appointment confirmed a couple of days prior. Technician was on time and got the job done very quickly. First time using their service but would hire again.

Wonderful experience! Adam was very professional, personable, and was happy to answer my questions. He even let me watch him do the camera inspection of the flue, explaining as he went! I am working toward my ICA Home Inspection certification and would have no problem recommending this company to a client if I thought a more thorough inspection was needed by a qualified chimney professional. Jack Pixley installed our gas insert, and we've used them for annual maintenance since. Setting up appointments for service is easy and we are informed the day before service when the technician will arrive. The technician carefully covers the area near the fireplace, explains what will be done and how long it will take. After the work is completed, the technician makes sure the area is clean. The technician also does a visual survey of the chimney outdoors and points out anything that could be a future issue.

I have been using Jack Pixley Sweeps since 1993! Jack came out on my first service call. I had never had a fireplace in a home. He was so knowledgeable and walked me through what type of firebox I had and how to use it. It was so sad when he passed away but he passed his knowledge, honesty, and integrity on to his employees. In 2007 they found a hole in my liner and replaced it with a lifetime stainless steel liner--which is still in perfect shape. The inspection is thorough with a camera and pictures are provided. They are honest and if there is no cleaning required they will tell you. I highly recommend Jack Pixley Sweeps.

Jack Pixley Sweeps is always great. We have used them for annual chimney cleaning since the 1990’s, for a major chimney repair due to a builder’s flawed construction, and for more mundane things like dryer vent repair. Their customer communication systems at all levels are a model for every business to follow. Mr. Pixley sadly passed away a few years ago, and the organization continues to operate according to his high standards. Anton Buelt did the work this year; Anton is relatively new and his work is right up there with the best of the best.

Ultimate result wasn't good for me, but they were the first company that ran a camera up the chimney to show the damage and required repairs. Based upon the inspection, it was recommended not to sweep and clean since it didn't need it plus I have to decide what to do going forward. They could have swept and charged me but they were honest and said it wasn't necessary, so that was greatly appreciated.

We were impressed with Jack Pixley Sweeps from start to finish. The scheduling process was easy and responsive. The technicians that conducted the work were professional and extremely conscientious. We were shown real time video images of the interior of our chimney and later provided with a detailed report that included still images. This company is clearly committed to excellence and integrity.

They did a great job. The person called ahead and let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time did a through review of our chimney inside and out. When he was done he cleaned up so that I didn't need to do any further cleanup. He provided valid feedback on his review of our chimney. I was very pleased with their work and will use them again.

From start to finish this company met or exceeded my expectations and my needs. I made the initial contact via Angie's List. The company replied immediately to my query. Initially, I was disappointed that the first appointment I could get was six-weeks or so in the future. But about a week after that appointment was scheduled I called back and asked if there was any chance to move it up in time for the looming holidays. The woman on the other end of the phone was friendly and accommodating and eventually made it happen. The technician, Anton, arrived for the first of two appointments on time, he was courteous and wore his mask, he carefully explained the situation to me (the unite needed a new valve) and gave me an estimate for the cost of the repairs. A few weeks later he was back with the new valve and accomplished the job to my complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company AND Angie's list as the way to make the connection.

They did exactly what they said they would, on time, and very professional. I had several other companies come out but none as knowledgeable. Price seemed high at first but the quality and knowledge was there. Easy to work with and kept us informed daily of the progress. I would definitely recommend them and I will use them again in the future for any chimney/fireplace needs. P.S. My chimney is 33 years old and they matched the old brick almost perfectly.
