The inspector was punctual, knowledgable, and performed a very thorough inspection with a camera. We found out that one of the fireplaces has multiple cracks in the clay tile making it unusable for the long term. This was one of the factors that helped us decide whether to buy the house or not. Impressed with the whole process. Highly recommend their services.

We decided after nearly 30 years of using a wood-burning fireplace to replace it with an easy-to-use gas insert. We chose Jack Pixley Sweeps because they have provided chimney cleaning and repair services for us in the past and had outstanding customer reviews. The estimate was within our budget, and the explanation of what the insert would look like and how it would be installed was clear. They handled scheduling the electrician and plumber needed to install the electrical outlet and gas line needed for the insert. The insert installation took two visits instead of one because of a communication issue with our city's building inspector, but overall it went smoothly and the installation crew left the work area immaculate. We are extremely happy with the quality of our insert and ease of use.

Great, they arrived on time and immediately started to work. They were very through in telling us what we should do with some cracks in one of the chimney's. We also had the chimney caps replaced and one of the sizes needed to be ordered...he was back at the house two days later and replaced it.

Cleaning and inspection went well. I was sent an incomplete inspection report that they fixed when I asked them to. They took some weeks to get me an estimate for the additional work that needed to be done so I ended up using a different company for it.

It went very well. They adjusted their schedule to fit us in earlier so that the work was complete before our new renters moved in.

Okay, except cracks in the flue liner were not explained as being caused by a limited chimney fire. Also provided misleading information on costs associated with flue liner replacement. Initially said it would be less cost than a gas insert, then said the opposite.

Anton did a great job of cleaning the chimney without leaving a mess behind. He worked from both inside the house and also inspected the chimney cap. He used a camera to show us the condition of the inside of the chimney and explained any issues to monitor over time as there were no immediate repairs needed. Their price is a bit higher than some other companies that provide this service, but I've used them in the past at another home, and they've had a good reputation for many years. I did utilize an early Spring discount that they had offered.

Perfectly. On my first phone call to Jack Pixley, Debra politely asked qualifying questions to help me determine our needs and then scheduled our appointment. The day before the appointment we rec'd a confirming email that included Anton's picture so we knew who to look for, which we found very helpful. The service with Anton and another tech, Randy, went superb. They were clean and thorough, explained everything they were going to do, reviewed our service upon completion and with no mess. Anton even returned for a second appointment to install a security screen over the top of our chimney to guard against more animals or debris. Overall, a great service at a fair price. Would highly recommend if you need this service in your home.

Scheduling the appointment was easy and the chimney sweep, Anton, called prior to coming to the house with a specific ETA, which was right on. He was very professional and had an extensive knowledge of chimney and fireplace installations. Anton was courteous and very tidy and finished the job right on schedule. He used a video probe to inspect the both chimneys and gave us a thorough briefing about their condition. He repaired the deteriorated mortar neatly and efficiently. The after-work report came an hour later with photos and a complete description of what he had done. We were very satisfied with this work.

It went really well. They were on time, replaced the cap very quickly. It wasn't super expensive. The price included a new cap as well as installation.

He was prompt, professional, clean, and willing to keep trying to solve the mystery of the odor. While ultimately we still have a problem, it wasn't due to lack of effort on their part. I highly recommend them.

I appreciated the reminder call I received a day prior to my appointment. The teachnician, Dave, also called when he was on the way to our house. Dave was so kind to our very curious 6 year old and even put him to "work". Our roof is steep, and Dave was very cautious going up and down his ladders. Dave put a new cap with a screen and a solid top on our chimney. It was a very simple fix.
