Description of Work: When we moved out of our last home we had them put some of our furniture in storage. So they moved some of our things into our house and then 6 months later they brought the furniture they had stored for us.

Description of Work: The actual year they moved us was 2011. As a previous employee of the VA at Fort Snelling, the company had used them many times. They sent a representative to our home and after looking at the furniture and other items to be moved to our new house they gave me a date and a price which were both very satisfactory. On the day we closed on our house, they were waiting outside our new home to move us in. I can't say enough about their careful manner with our things. They are top notch. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: A colleague told me I had (accidentally) used the site featured on {Shipper Wars}. I was leery but decided to go ahead. The winning bidder was an out-of-state company, Bester Brothers. They were very helpful in completing the necessary paperwork and picked up my furniture on time and with a minimum of hassle. Then they delivered it to my sister's house in Baltimore - again efficiently and in a friendly way. And they didn't even chuckle at my four pieces of furniture which is of no value to anyone but myself. I felt safe at all times during the process. Good job, Bester Brothers!

+ -1 moreOVERALL, I WAS PLEASED BY THE SERVICE, BUT I HAD A COUPLE OF MINOR GRIPES. THEY SHOWED UP 15 MINUTES LATE AND HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED THAT THEY HAD 3 HOURS TO GET ALL THE STUFF OUT OF OUR HOUSE. THEY CHARGED TRAVEL TIME, WHICH ADDED 2 HOURS TO THE TOTAL BILL. THE 3 MOVERS WORKED WELL TOGETHER, NOTHING WAS DAMAGED AND NOTHING WAS SCRATCHED THAT I COULD SEE.
