We changed move-in dates on them so many times as our closing was delayed multiple times yet they still cheerfully responded to our next request. This is our second move with BB and would use them again if we move again. Estimates were very close to final bill.

+ -1 moreI contacted Bester Brothers about moving some very heavy and fragile glass showcases. I made an appointment with Joe from Bester Brothers to come out and quote the project. Joe showed up at the exact time we set the appointment, took in the scope of the project and said he would email a quote to me later. Side note: Since these items I wanted moved were heavy, fragile and expensive, I would not feel comfortable with anything less than an established, professional moving company. I received the quote promptly from Joe, the quote was very fair and I asked Joe to schedule the project with his company. The morning of the planned move, the Bester Brothers crew showed up (again super punctual) with four skilled and personable workers. All four were careful, conscientious and efficient. The move went without a hitch... I could not be happier. From start to finish... Bester Brothers was superb!

The estimate was the lowest we received and our actual bill was 10% less than the estimate. Bester only uses their own employees, and it appears to make a BIG difference.

+ 1 moreThe scheduling and organization was excellent. Customer service and professionalism is excellent. All workers are kind, careful and efficient. All items were easily located and there was no damage. Pricing is very reasonable and billing office is very organized. Highly, highly recommend above any other moving and storage service I have ever used.
Description of Work: I had 3 moves in the last year, all of which involved multiple stops with various exchanges of furniture from location and to & from storage. Moves included both business and residential locations.

Description of Work: Bester representative John was our liaison. He was very professional. He gave us an estimate that was HALF of his competitor. The competitor wanted to build 42 wooden crates for various household items. These are very expensive. John felt we didn't need any crates. We were nervous but went with his suggestion. His movers moved all our goods from MN to Colorado without a hitch and then unloaded the truck in one day. None of the goods were damaged and by following his advice we saved thousands of dollars. One other big reason for this recommendation is how they handled breakage during packing. when taking down some books from a high bookshelf the shelf fell and gouged the desk below. It cost $1380 to repair the desk and John covered the entire amount and even though this was clearly an accident that was NOT the result of carelessness by his movers, he insisted he would take responsibility and he did, delivering a check to us for the full amount. The entire experience could not have been better. Highest recommendation

We've never indulged in having our things packed, but it was absolutely worth it. Not one item damaged or broken, not one scratch on a floor or wall. Please tip these guys well-- they deserve it. + -1 moreI found them on Angie's List. They were quick to reply, they were clear and concise in their estimate, they were extremely efficient. I took their bid mainly because of recommendations on Angie's List. They loaded, and the people were so efficient. They loaded in the rain, and as soon as they closed the truck it stopped raining. There were a few things I wanted protected, but they just kept moving in and out. They packed it beautifully and delivered it the next day. I had a friend who was here waiting for them. They are super people. Their estimate was right on target.
Description of Work: I used Bester Brothers. I was moving to another state, and they did a great cross country move. It was a 150 mile trip.

+ -1 moreJoe arrived and did an analysis, provided an estimate the next day. We had 4 companies come out to provide bids his was the best. We needed to move on Friday and deliver on Saturday. The did not charge us overtime. We scheduled the move with him. The crew of 4 arrived on time. They were very professional, working quickly and efficiently. They were done around noon and set up the time they would deliver on Saturday. Again they arrived on time Saturday, a 2 man crew. They moved all the boxes to the appropriate room. Everything so far is in good shape. We would definitely recommend Besterbros Brothers.

I've called multiple times asking for an update on our estimate but have not received a response. I'm sure Based on the referral from my friend and the many postive reviews I'm sure Bester Brothers does a wonderful job with their moves. I am writing this to make others aware that you may simply be wasting your time by having them come to your house and discuss your move since you may not ever receive a follow-up or final estimate.
Description of Work: I contacted Bester Brothers based on a referral from a friend who highly recommended them. I rearranged my schedule and had Bester Brothers come to my house to estimate our move. Joe spent about an hour at our house discussing the details but I probably should have questioned more about his ability to estimate the effort when he didn't write down anything.

However, it's been their long-term customer support that has pleasantly surprised and impressed us while we've lived overseas. They have been very responsive via both phone calls and emails to each of our questions and paperwork requests. They have gone above and beyond to make the arrangement workable for us even though we are no longer in the country. We are extremely impressed with their customer service and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to move and/or leave their items in good care. We have found them to be an excellent company with whom to work.

+ -1 moreI was very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the movers. We had 2 trucks and 5 men. They were cheerful up to the end even though it was below zero and the total move took 9 1/2 hours. The end move was into a small house with small front and side doors and a detached garage. The men set up a bucket brigade type line to get things into the basement thru the side door and to the main level thru the front door. The men inside the house took off shoes so not to track in snow. My sleep number bed took awhile to set up - longer than a normal bed would. The movers were so helpful the putting furniture where we wanted it. They even made a couple of good suggestions. The total cost was a little higher than estimated but we had them take a piano to dispose of that was not in Paul's estimate. I would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Moved an extremely large 3 bedroom 1 1/2 story house in Elk River to a small house in West St Paul. Paul came out and estimated the cost about 10 days before the move.
