I didn`t use them.

They did a good job, but the scheduling was bad. A lot of them were getting the same work done, so things were haphazard. I still asked them, if they can and they said yes. They called and scheduled an appointment, but they forgot to screen it and fix the handle. I called them and they said to wait until summer, which I was not willing too. I then insisted they came at the earliest and fix the entire thing and had them do it. They were reasonably priced and the salesmen were good. I may use their services in future.

I thought it went really well. The sales people were a great. The installers were very quick and out of the way. All around they did a very nice job.

The installers helped me to empty the contents of my attic. They then layed plastic on the steps and floor before they began work. After they finished the job, they vacuumed the carpet. Both young men were very courteous, pleasant as well as competent. The estimator was also very professional and pleasant. Window World will match competitors prices for identical services provided.

Salesman came out and gave us information and estimate for window work. The price was reasonable and we signed to have the work done. Window World showed up on the wrong day and it caused a lot of rushing around because we still had furniture and window treatments in the way. They worked hard and quickly...they were polite and courteous. They cleaned up well after themselves. Unfortunately several of the windows were not plumb (not straight up or down) either on the frame or the window itself. I didn't notice it at first and I signed the approval section as they wanted it signed right away after they finished. My wife noticed it right away. I called Window World three times after that to have them come out and take a look at it. I was transferred to a manager each time and got his voice mail each time. I left detailed messages explaining the problems and I never did get a call back. Overall it was sloppy whether it was a problem with the manufacture of the window or the installation. We expected a lot better quality. Update: Probuilt did come out and correct the installation to our satisfaction. The person that came out was very professional and skilled in window installations. Huge difference.

Overall this was a terrible experience for my wife and I. We received and agreed to their estimate on 5/21/09. The job was finally "completed" on 12/21/09. I put completed in quotes because they never installed the storm door correctly. It needs to be redone because it won't close properly and there are several missing screws. Now they won't touch it. Since day one, their mistakes have included: misquoting the estimate (so they say), measuring the entry door wrong multiple times, failure to honor written agreements, failure to order proper hardware, improperly installing equipment, months of delays. The president,Terry Derosier, even verbally abused me for several minutes recently when I met him to resolve the problems Window World caused. This abuse included yelling, profanity, and even attacking my personal life. He even blamed me for all of their mistakes. Based on these intimidation tactics, I agreed to his terms. I am still kicking myself for that. Avoid Window World to save yourself the frustration. There are more professional, effective, and efficient places out there. Good luck all!!

The sales representative arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. Their quote was close to half of my other 3 quotes for comparable products and warranties. I was a little skeptical about how they could offer a quality product at these prices as I have sold windows in the past and know what to look for, but after the representative explained that it was due to their buying power they are the largest window replacement company in America and I carefully examined the window I decided I could not justify paying thousands more with someone else. I paid them up front half of the money and 3 days later Eric the measure guy called and came out to remeasure then 3 weeks later a gal called and told me my windows were in and she set the install date. When Tony and Steve showed up to install my windows they were very professional and clean they got all ten windows installed and cleaned up in less than 2 days. I was so impressed with everything that I sent them my resume I would feel confident representing this company and their products the did a top notch job from beginning to end.

The sales person was accommodating of my schedules and very through in demonstrating the product. Within a week of signing, they were out for a second measurement to ensure proper fit. They stated the installation would be 4-6 weeks out, but actually they called sooner. The installation teams laid down drop cloths to keep the dirt off my floors and were completed in a day.

I thought I was purchasing through Window World, and the permit shows Window World. I'm not sure if this was sub-contracted through Pro Built or what. I told them I wanted the windows that I can raise partially and secure (with a lock so intruders can't get in). He said if the locks don't come from the factory, they'll add them later (retro-fit). When the windows were installed, none of them had locks. He said they'd figure something out to use instead. I had to call to follow up after not hearing from them and was then told the window manufacturer told them that if they added after-factory locks it would void the warranty. I went with them because they said the windows would have the locks. I also have small issues such as ripped screens and weather stripping that was not done. I've had good experiences with them in the past, but not this time. I keep calling and calling and they just say they'll get back to us. Installed April 27th, and it's not resolved as of June 19th.
