Description of Work: Our dishwasher failed and could not be repaired. Warners' Stellian is a local company that provided us with several high quality choices at competitive prices. What's not to like about that. The sales rep was knowledgeable and low key. He left us alone for a while after showing us some options so we could talk it over. He answered our questions clearly. The dishwasher we bought was a highly rated Bosch. He showed us good quality comparison machines as well. | |The installation was handled quickly with no problems. They also too our old machine out for recycling.

Description of Work: I called the Warner's Stellian service line to inquire about getting my window air conditioner (previously purchased at the Snelling location) cleaned prior to storing it for the winter. I was told that the cost was $69.95 and that I would need to leave my credit card information when I brought in the unit. I asked if an appointment time was necessary and was told ,no,that I could just show up when the store was open. Having no car, I set up a day and time with friends to come pick me and the unit up and take me to the stor. It was a Saturday. Upon arrival, I explained what I wanted and was told that they would not take the unit there. They lead me to a small flyer posted on the wall that said the service I requested was done in-home for $79.95. When I said I was specifically told otherwise when I called in, they assured me that it "must have been the receptionist who thought made the error." No apologies were offered, merely a "too bad". And, of course, the central office was closed for the weekend. Come Monday, I called the service line again. I was told that to have someone come to my house would cost about double the original price quoted. That the store employees were mistaken and the unit should be brought in by me if I wanted the to pay the $69.95. I was told that there must have been a communication problem (i.e. I wasn't clear about what I needed) because the service I was told about was only for removing the window unit and placing it in storage. No cleaning (the whole point of why I was bringing it in. Bad enough that I inconvenienced my friends and was inconvenienced myself, but no effort was made to rectify the situation. An offer to pick up the unit for free or at a reduced fee would have gone a considerable way to feeling that Warner's Stellian cared about service.

I went in knowing what I wanted and they were helpful in finding the brand and size I needed and getting it delivered quickly. I wish they would have hooked up the water line, as it took me awhile to do it myself.

Fine. It is a little annoying how you have to work with a specific salesperson. If you call to ask a question they always ask you who your salesperson is. They have a good selection and a nice showroom.

Warner Stellian has a great selection and friendly salespeople. I really like that they delivered for free, installed for free and hauled away my old appliances for free. I will definitely buy my appliances there in the future.

Sales person was great. She was knowledgeable and very helpful. The delivery crew were not great. They were in a hurry; didn't level the fridge well. Didn't explain anything. I'm not as happy as I expected to be.

Very positive. Prompt attention, no hassle, helped me find what I needed (I had already decided what I was going to buy,) discounted the merchandise because I bought two appliances, and also gave me paperwork for a $100 rebate offered by manufacturer. The appliances were delivered promptly with no damage. The delivery guys were friendly and cheerful and unpacked the oven for me. They also hauled away the box and packing materials along with my old oven and microwave. The sales person (Bill Warner) also arranged for 12-month interest-free financing.
Description of Work: I purchased a GE Profile stainless steel oven and microwave for my kitchen.

We were in the store for at least 15 minutes looking and taking notes on refrigerators. No one ever approached us. We were only greeted by the receptionist. Not a very pleasing experience.

The salesperson was fine, it was the company that I had a problem with. The fridge took 5 weeks to come in! I found out that GE actually ships over night from Chicago, and no one could figure out why it took 5 weeks to come in. They told me that it would be here within a week as my other fridge was not working. I had to go to the grocery store every night or out to eat! They told me many times that it was coming! Then after the morning, I would call back and they would say we are sorry, it's not on the truck. I ask the manager of customer service to call me. Someone finally did and said they could discount me $40! They delivered the fridge without me answering the door! I had left it opened. It was hinged on the wrong side, has a dent in the door and the handle on the fridge side was broken! GE sent two replacement handles. The whole experience was ridiculous. I was disgusted. I would never go back there again.
Description of Work: Ordered a refrigerator from them at the end of January.

Microwave was standard size, but blocked view of range controls on the back. When I reported this to Warners Stellian, the manager said most people just ''get used to that.'' After numerous calls, finally spoke directly with a member of the Warner family, who was courteous and helpful. We exchanged the microwave for a hood. The store manager had wanted me to pay a second installation fee, but the owner waived that cost. Also, the microwave installation was poorly done. Cold air leaked through from microwave vent. I watched the installer carefully when he replaced with the hood to make sure he did it right. Did not trust him. Overall, I was disappointed that the customer service standards this family owned company claims to have were not apparent in my dealing with them until I went to great lengths to get a response. Quality of Whirlpool range and Broan hood very good.

We had pretty much done our research about what we wanted before purchasing. We had checked prices at other stores but the deciding factor was Warners' Stellian being listed on Angie's List. Our sales person was helpful in pointing out the benefits of a next model up from our original selection, which we did then choose. So far, our opinion of Warners' is good; our opinion of the Maytag washer is still out. This is our first front loader washer; I think a little more information from the sales consultant about the differences between a top loader and front loader would have been helpful.
Description of Work: Purchased a Maytag Neptune front loading washing machine. The appliance was delivered and our old one was hauled away.

AS I BOUGHT ALL MY APPLIANCES FROM THIS STORE PREVIOUSLY, I WENT TO SEE IF THEY HAD WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. A SALESPERSON WAS CALLED TO HELP ME IMMEDIATELY. WHEN I ASKED HIM WHETHER ANYONE STILL MADE STANDING PILOT RANGES, HE TOLD ME "NO." I WORKED WITH TIM SZMIOT AND HE WAS GREAT. HELPED ME PICK OUT GOOD APPLIANCES THAT WERE REASONABLY PRICED. THE DELIVERY WAS ON TIME AND THE INSTALLATION WAS LIKE CLOCKWORK. 15 MINUTES AND EVERYTHING WAS INSTALLED. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY APPLIANCES TO RECYCLE, BUT THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED. THIS EXPERIENCE (MAY 05): DELIVERY TIME SCHEDULED BETWEEN NOON AND 5:00 PM (BUT COULD NOT FIND THIS OUT TILL THAT MORNING, MEANING WHOLE DAY WAS SHOT). NO ONE THERE BY 4:55. CONTACTED THE WAREHOUSE. HAD TO TALK TO MANAGER AT STORE TO GET FIRST DELIVERY 3 DAYS LATER. DELIVERY MEN VERY NICE. GAS LEAK IN DRYER AFTER THEY LEFT. CALLED THE ''HOTLINE.'' TOLD THEY WOULD CALL THE INSTALLERS AND THEY SHOULD BE THERE IN AN HOUR (YES, THERE REALLY WAS A GAS LEAK.) THEY CAME BACK AND FIXED THE GAS LEAK WITHIN AN HOUR. (I HAD TURNED OFF THE GAS.) CONTACTED THE CORPORATE OFFICE. ONE OF THE WARNERS CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THE LATE DELIVERY WAS THE FAULT OF ONE OF THE DELIVERY MEN--HE TOOK TOO LONG TO MAKE SURE THINGS WERE RIGHT. MR. WARNER WAS GOING TO RIDE ALONG WITH THAT MAN TO EVALUATE HIM. SENT ME $50 STORE CREDIT

I HIRED A DIFFERENT COMPANY TO SERVICE MY OLD RANGE AND THEY DETERMINED THE THERMOSTAT WAS BAD AND THE ENTIRE RANGE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. AFTER DELIVERY, I DISCOVERED THAT MY CEMENT LAUNDRY TUBS HAD BEEN MOVED, CAUSING THE DRAIN TO CRACK. AFTER 5 BUSINESS DAYS TRYING TO GET A RESPONSE, TIM FROM 'CUSTOMER SERVICE' CALLED TO TELL ME THAT SINCE THE DRIVERS SAID THEY DIDN'T BUMP OR MOVE THE TUBS, THEY WOULD NOT AUTHORIZE ANY REPAIRS AT THEIR EXPENSE, NOT EVEN A PARTIAL PAY. FOR A MERE $125 THEY COULD HAVE HAD A CUSTOMER WHO'D COME BACK, INSTEAD OF A DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMER. WARNING: DO NOT FOR ANY REASON LEAVE THE AREA WHERE WARNERS' STELLIAN DELIVERIES ARE BEING MADE.
