Buying everything was fine even though I did have to go to the front desk to get someone to help me. The guy was nice and got a quick deliver date. I left happy. Install day came and they were 3 hours past the window time and I had to call to find out where they were. The guys came in with mud all over my shoes. When we complained one of the guys responded as and quot;What do you expect we are deliver guys.and quot; After some short tense back and forth the got back to work and installed the units and put the old ones in our garage. They failed to install the anti-tip screws. As a mother of a 1 year old I wasn't pleased. The moment they left I closed the fridge door and the freezer door popped open and stayed open. The seal is bad! I called them and they told me I'd have to wait for a repair guy to come out and diagnose it. Might take up to 3 weeks for a repair. I don't recall buying a scratch and dent. When I get a new fridge I expect it to work or have it replaces in a timely order with one that works. I have wood floors so If I use that freezer and the seal pops open we are talking thousands of dollars in damage. I call customer service and the basically I'm out of luck. Do it their way... or don't have a fridge. I can't return because they charge to unhook, drive it back and a 25% restock fee. I don't want to come off as one of those reviewers with a chip on their shoulder. I use to LOVE this company. I went to the same church as Carla, went to the same school as her children, and bought many times from there. The last time I bought a dishwasher. There was some issues after awhile but I thought it was bad luck... now I see that the quality and service is the issue. Thats a shame.

They hauled away my old Sears Kenmore dryer that I believe was 40 years old! It was definitely time for a new dryer. I like the dryer and it matches my Whirlpool Front Loader Washer that I previously bought from Warners’ Stellian. I used my Whirlpool Washer warranty credit on my new Whirlpool Dryer since I had not used the warranty on my washer. Plus I lucked out that when I went dryer shopping, the Whirlpool dryer I wanted was on sale! All the sales staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, and I'll definitely go back to Warner's Stellian for my next appliance purchase!

They are handy. There was a problem with our stove. The digital read out was malfunctioned and they came right out and replaced the entire unit. Their service is excellent. I rate them high overall.

We chose Warners' Stellian because of a good experience in purchasing a stove earlier. This time, the sales person wasn't particularly knowledgeable of products or prices, but we made decisions and purchased. We didn't have a firm delivery date, but he had to have a date, so we picked one tentatively. Later, when we called to schedule, we learned we could pick a date, but not a preferred time window. The delivery company would call the night before to tell us a window during which delivery would occur. This meant taking a day off, since we had to be available. The installers couldn't put the units in the desired relation to each other because they don't carry the factory hose kit, so the doors interfere with load transfer. The washer leaked water out of the front. On inspection, it was because the washer wasn't leveled since the levelers were fully extended in front. I put a block under the feet and leveled the unit. It took several days to reach the manager, who was sorry I felt they did a poor job. So, Warners' Stellian sells good products at good prices, but you need to be knowledgeable when you go in. Unless setup is effortless, expect quality to suffer. Post-sale customer service is non-existent.

Our refrigerator started intermittantly freezing produce in December. When the milk was spoiled after Christmas, we realized that it was dying and decided we had to act quickly before we lost everything in it. We called in the late afternoon on 30-Dec to inquire about delivery options around the New Year holiday. The salesman was prompt and efficient in taking our information and calling back to report that a refrigerator could be delivered on 31-Dec even though the delivery schedule was shortened that day due to the holiday. We went to the Snelling store. WIth the same salesman's help, we quickly narrowed the options, made our selection, did the paperwork and were done in 20 minutes or less. We expected to pay a higher price, but the price was a little less than the one cited in Consumer Reports. The salesman also showed us the current options for some longer-term changes we are considering for our kitchen. All in all, it was an extremely pleasant and efficient experience, rather than the drudgery and groveling I had expected would be required to get this done by the new year!

We worked with a woman who was absolutely available. It wouldn't matter who you worked with. They are always very friendly. They welcome you. They ask you questiosn about what your needs are and they work with you. Two years ago we purchased a dishwasher and we damaged the front of the dishwasher and requested that a new front be ordered. The front was ordered, we had a person from Hopkins come out to put it on. He got here to put it on and it was the wrong order. So my husband called the main office of the dishwasher Miele to get one ordered and then they sent that one, and that one was also wrong. Finally we got the regional representative from Miele and he made sure the correct one was delivered. He came out to install it himself and took back the incorrect one. He was very accomodating and also gave us our money back for the hassle. But despite the negative things that happened it turned out to our satisfaction.
Description of Work: We bought three major appliances from them. A refridgerator (French door style with lower freezer), a microwave-oven, and a dual-fuel stove.

They were friendly. The said they will deliver and install it for us. Their price was good only for the stove, but when the delivery and installation is added the price is expensive. We just bought a new house and needed to replace the old (20 y.o.) dishwasher. We researched options ahead of time using CR and the Warner-Stellian website and came in looking for a Bosch. The saleswoman knew it right off the bat and gave us a detailed description of its strengths and weaknesses (and ran a model to demonstrate). We were happy and paid for installation. Their service man showed up early in the three-hour window we were given. But almost immediately he realized that the Bosch was half an inch too tall for our space. He gave us two or three shorter options in the same price range (off the top of his head -- he said it's a common issue), took out the old dishwasher while he was there, and even installed an outlet in case we decided to buy a certain model requiring it. We ended up exchanging the Bosch for a GE; no problem at all with Warner-Stellian, and they came back a few days later and installed it. So far everything is running fine. I might complain that the saleswoman didn't think to check on the height issue, if it's so common a problem with the Bosch. (We did mention that our house is 50+ y.o.) But it's really our fault for not having thought to check. The installation guys (especially the first one) were skilled, helpful, and friendly. You won't save much money going to Warner-Stellian, but the selection is good (several models off the CR Recommended list were available in store) and the service is outstanding.

Install did not go well, delivery person was not knowledgeable in what he was doing, had no tools, but proceeded to install anyway. Installation of electric stove was not up to code, and several days later, my contractor got close to the cord with his nail gun with the cord running from the stove, and it connected - zapped. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident, but it left us feeling very upset and not at all secure in our decision to work with this company. I called Warner Stellian immediately, they sent someone to correct the problem that afternoon, and it was done correctly this time. The fact that I had this stove in our house, not installed safely for an entire weekend, had me quite unnerved, considering that we chose them based on their quality service.

I went back to W-S. This time the guy at the front desk said to call the service people, but they aren't open on Saturday. I called them Monday. They said to call Miele. I called Miele. They said that since it wasn't a warranty issue (I was forthright in noting that it was my error that nicked the holes in the surprisingly fragile hoses) I had to call W-S. I called W-S and had to convince them that I wasn't to call Miele. They finally agreed to a service call after they got the parts, and that they'd order the fill and drain hoses, and they'd be there on 9/24. On 9/25, having heard nothing, we called. Oh, they shipped on 9/24, they'll call when they get here. On 10/1 we called; oh, they only got one part, they'll call Miele about the other. I write this on 10/1, 1/12th of my warranty period having drifted past since W-S can't seem to get their parts/service act together. During the time the Miele worked (I installed it temporarily while awaiting countertops) we were generally pleased with it if still annoyed about the sound level lie and the installation instructions. I find it discouraging that any simple parts request is going to take forever. We got dazzled by the illusion of quality, service, buy local, etc. and instead wish I'd gone ahead and got a Kenmore. One day, perhaps soon, our other part will come and we can spend $290 to get the fill and drain hoses replaced. I'll be real careful with these delicate things this time around!
Description of Work: We bought a Miele dishwasher. The saleslady misrepresented how quiet it would be (the one we got was not hooked up, but she ran one that was and said that ours would be even quieter, turns out Miele has its own sound level ratings, and the one she ran was rated by Miele itself as being quieter than the one we bought). It came as promised, free delivery, they took away the old one, that went fine. I installed the dw myself during which I managed to nick holes in the fill and drain hoses. This was my fault. I went back to Warners Stellian and asked about a new drain and fill hose for the Miele and the same saleslady said that they sent all parts needs to a place down on Snelling. I went there the next day and they'd never heard of Miele. The guy looked at the manual and said, this is some foreign brand I've never heard of, we don't have parts for this.

We were hoping to find all our appliances at the same place, from the same manufacturer. Warners Stellian had exactly what we were looking for, and set up in a way that made it easy to see all the appliances together. Our sales associate was friendly, but not pushy. She remembered us when we came back for a second visit. She explained the manufacturer's and Warners Stellian's rebates and we saved around $500 by purchasing before their expiration. She was knowledgeable and showed us options without trying to influence our purchases. She made copies of the rebate forms and our receipts for us so they were ready to go once we had the serial numbers of our appliances. The delivery went well: everything arrived within the promised time frame and the delivery people were helpful, friendly and careful. I left two different voice mail questions for our sales associate and she responded both times within 24 hours.

The service for the appliances seems to be in question, as Warners-Stellian does not have a technician to fix my vent hood liner!! Terrible! The technician that they referred me to told me that he no longer works on that brand. Why did I find that out before Warners-Stellian??
Description of Work: We purchased an entire kitchen from Warners-Stellian. We had problems with the hood liner it did not work once it was installed. The response from Warners-Stellian was to refer me to a technician, who took three days to get back to me, only to tell me that he no longer worked on the brand of the hood liner! Warners-Stellian told me when I purchased the appliances that they would all be covered under a five-year service contract, but failed to tell me that they do not have technicians that work on that brand of hood liner. I am now stuck with an non-working hood liner which cost $800.00!! No-one at Warners-Stellian seems to know what to do now!

Wanted to buy quality appliances from a local company and not a big box store and Warners Stellian was very near my home. I also found out through their website that they have free delivery, removal of the old appliances, and installation of the new ones. I went to the store and the saleswoman approached me after just a couple minutes. It was perfect timing as I pretty much knew what I wanted. I picked out the gas stove and washer I wanted with no pressure to buy another brand or more expensive model. I thought the prices were great considering the delivery was free. I was able to schedule the date of delivery even though they could have delivered it the next day if I wanted them to. The delivery drivers showed up, were very careful about removing the old appliances and installing the new ones. They were clean and quiet and it was all done within a few minutes.

The salesman was very nice and professional when he was selling me the stove, and since it had to be ordered, he told me he would call me within a day or so and let me know when I could expect delivery. He never did call and I called him 7 days later. He got impatient with me when I started looking at my work schedule to determine which day would work and told me to just call the main number when I figured it out. Delivery guys were great, the removed the old range, but since I live in the city of Minneapolis, they could not install the stove. I did find it annoying that delivery required a 4 hour window. I will likely purchase a new refrigerator within the next year, and I doubt that I'll go back to WS.

It took awhile for a salesperson to wait on me at the store. On the delivery day they delivered my new dishwasher within the designated time frame and took away my old dishwasher, with a minimum of fuss. I am happy with my new appliance.
