They come out six or seven times for the whole season. We also pay them for the whole season. They are really friendly, really considerate, and do a good job. They always keep us updated on our lawn. Their price is pretty good too.

They left notes as to how my lawn was doing and what I needed to do so that was good.

We couldn't be happier with the results, even if it was a bit expensive! We moved into our home a year ago. The property had been in foreclosure for some time and the yard had only been minimally tended to while it sat on the market. The whole backyard was creeping charlie and dandelions. The front yard was overgrown with all manner of weeds. It really looked pretty bad and hopeless. I did a round of weed n' feed myself but it became clear that if I wanted a halfway decent lawn it would require constant attention. The homes on either side of us had stunning lawns and ours really stood out like a neighborhood eyesore. Trugreen did an excellent job of getting the yard under control and getting back to a healthy green lawn by the end of summer. The staff was always very prompt and friendly. Nick - the guy assigned to my account that did all the yard work always left a full page of handwritten notes for me about what he did and what steps I could take until his next visit to keep the progress going. I really felt like he was a great partner. Because of the great relationship, we also ordered an aeration and overseeding. Primarily to work on all the dead spots. The trees had overgrown and 4 of them had branches all the way down to the ground. I trimmed them up but there was nothing but bare dirt under them. 2 weeks now after the overseeding they all have grass. It really does look much better. As far as cost, I felt it was a bit high... more than I really wanted to pay. After I tried to do a weed and feed myself, I told myself we'd just do it for this year to get the yard back under control. The aeration was especially pricey. I could have saved about $100 if I rented the machine and did everything myself. At the end of the day, I am glad we did it. The yard is completely different. I really did want to use a more ecological option. I don't think that spraying chemicals on my yard is really a good thing. We might look into Trugreens Eco option or we might look for a different company next season. Overall though, I am very pleased with the work they've done. If they could bring the prices down a bit (especially with their Eco option) I would be sold for sure on another season of their work!

My biggest pet peeve with them is when they try to sell me additional services: bug control, more aeration. Earlier this year a representative called to tell me that bugs were really bad this year and they were offering a service to come and kill them. I told him I wasn't interested to which he replied "so you're just going to let bugs live in your lawn." As far as I know bugs have lived in people's lawns from the beginning of lawns. His attitude really bothered me. When they call last month to aerate my lawn for the second time this year because it needs to breathe. Prior to this year I had it aerated once in 4 years. Why all of a sudden does it need to be done twice. I just feel like the try to squeeze money out of you instead of provided services that you really need.

They came twice, once in late July and once in late August. Hopefully the two applications did the trick because within 2 weeks of the first application, I still saw many white moths - indicative of sod webworm. Since the 2nd treatment on Aug. 25, I have not seen any white moths. Service seems good so far. I like the fact that the applications includes lawn, shrubs, trees, and around the foundation of the house.

I had problems with thatch and fungus - which did improve. Also, the fertilizer treatments helped tremendously. However, I did notice a few more weeds in late August. Also, some areas of fungus only seemed to improve slightly through the summer. From an overall standpoint I was satisfied. Tom, our service rep., was knowledgable and helpful. They did mess up my billing, but they fixed that when I called. If you need to get in contact with your technician by phone, it is very difficult. I do like the fact that the technician will meet with you on the day of service and answer any questions. They also will leavyou a hard copy of comments they have and a summary of what they did that day.

Everything has gone very well. They consistently have followed up with us, which is nice. It is never hard to get ahold of them.

Service has been good until recently. Not sure if they have had a change of ownership or not, but everyone I have dealt wtih this year has been rude and pushy. They have called me to ask about doing other services and I decline. They then call back a couple of weeks latter asking again. What caused me to leave them is after there website was not working to take payments (and was instructed via there customer service line to try back in a "couple of days" ) they started calling me looking for a payment. I then told them I put a check in the mail, they proceed to want to know the check#, when I mailed it etc... They were basically accusing me of not paying their bill, when in fact there online system was down. I called to complain and cancel my service... I received no response and no apology for their rude billing department. I am taking my business elsewhere.

They called back quickly with pricing information. They suggested 6 treatments at a higher price than I had received from another well-rated business from Angie's List. However, it was appealing that they had experience treating lawns in my neighborhood and since our soil is very sandy. The rep stressed the quality of work and that I would have the same rep for every visit. The rep said this pricing was what they had given my neighbors, and to get this price I needed to decide by 6pm that night (it was a Friday). The other company was priced lower and had 4 treatments. When I called TruGreen rep back right after to negotiate a different price, he seemed annoyed and rushed through adjusting the pricing by cutting off treatments. It seemed like he was simply trying to rearrange the number to make it seem that it was fitting the pricing I wanted. He again told me to call him by 6pm to decide. When I hadn’t called back, he left a message on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. By then, I decided to go with the other company. I called to tell him and he was immediately annoyed. He said, “Well, I’m disappointed in your choice.” I told him that I felt extremely pressured to make a decision immediately. He was defensive and cold. Unfortunately, my husband and I had agreed that if the current company didn't work out, we'd go to TruGreen. After this experience, I'm not so sure.

We like them and have had them for many years. They have a different guy that comes each time and completes the service. They took a sample from the soil of our maple tree and had it tested to see if it was acidic or alkaline and they said the soil came back within the normal limits. This past year our grass looked the best that it has ever been.

The company is very good. They always call up to see if it is alright for them to come in. They just don't show up at your door ready to spray and you have a picnic going on or something. They are very punctual. The work is done when they say it is going to be done.

I have used them for about three years. They do a fine job. They leave little notes about your lawn and offer suggestions on things you could do differently. They don't really schedule an appointment. They show up in a couple week period, spray and leave you a little note about what they did and what you can do. I think their price is fair.

They have been invaluable. They are very, very knowledgeable. If we don't talk to them when they are here, they leave a very carefully written assessment of what we need and what was done. They offer great suggestions and aren't a hard sell. They are a pleasure to work with. When you spend that kind of money it's nice to know you're going to get value out of it. We will continue to work with them in the future.

I have an annual contract for a 2nd time in a row with this company and are very pleased.

Not too bad, they have improved since I used them before. I get fewer weeds now.

The price that I pay depends on what service they do. My yard looks really good. They do a good job, and I will continue to use them.

They serviced my lawn three times and I still have a lot of crab grass and weeds. They didn't do a very good job, and my lawn doesn't look as good as my neighbors.

I requested a lawn analysis and price quote on service through the Chemlawn website. I received a confirmation email the same day that this branch of Chemlawn would come to my home within 5 business days to complete the request. As of 3 weeks, no one has shown up or called. It really annoys me when a company doesn't follow through on their website. If you are going to ignore customers who contact you through the means your website provides, why bother having the site/service available? I talked to a co-worker who previously had used a different branch of Chemlawn and communication and follow-through were always poor. He finally fired them. I won't bother with this location or company in the future.

I have had 2 treatments so far. They have been satisfactory. My only complaint is very minor: When asking for my credit card info, she also asked for my birth date several times, which I refused to give out.

We're pleased with the treatment and the results of our beautiful lawn and tree. We dislike the sales calls offering more and more services. It gets very annoying.

SERVICE REALLY HELPED OUR LAWN. IT LOOKS GREEN, LUSH, AND WITHOUT WEEDS FOR THE MOST PART. THEY LEAVE A NOTE ON THE DOOR EACH TIME, SAYING THEY WERE THERE, AND ALSO MAKING ANY RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT WATERING OR MOWING.

THEY ALWAYS CALL BEFORE THEY COME TO MAKE SURE THAT IT IS OKAY FOR THEM TO COME. THE PERSON WHO COMES IS FAST. I HAVE ONLY TALKED WITH THE PERSON DOING THE LAWN TWICE. BOTH TIMES THAT PERSON HAS BEEN VERY OPEN TO SEEING IF I HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.

THEY WERE VERY QUICK TO PROVIDE AN ESTIMATE. I WANTED A COMPANY THAT WOULD USE ORGANIC PRODUCTS AND HELP GET MY WEEDS UNDER CONTROL. THEY USE ORGANIC PRODUCTS, BUT IF YOU CHOOSE ORGANICS, YOU CAN'T HAVE THE WEED CONTROL. DECIDED TO GO WITH A COMPANY WHO WOULD DO BOTH. THEIR PRICE IS VERY REASONABLE, SO ONCE I HAVE THE WEEDS UNDER CONTROL, I MAY USE THEM.

WE HAVE USED THEM FOR YEARS AND HAVE HAD GOOD RESULTS WITH OUR LAWN. WHAT I LIKE IS THAT YOU CAN SET UP THE SERVICE AND THEY JUST COME ON A REGULAR BASIS AND YOU DON'T NEED TO BE HOME. THEY JUST LEAVE SOMETHING AT THE FRONT DOOR LETTING YOU KNOW THEY WERE THERE.

THEY ARE CAREFUL WHEN THEY SPRAY THE WEED KILLER NOT TO GET IT TOO CLOSE TO THE GARDENS THAT IT KILLS ANY OF THE FLOWERS. I STARTED TWO SUMMERS AGO WHEN ALL I HAD WAS CREEPING CHARLIE, AND DANDELIONS. NOW I ACTUALLY HAVE GRASS, AND I CAN WALK AROUND BAREFOOT.
