Both jobs were done very quickly with high quality workmanship at very reasonable prices. Tony was very accommodating about letting me take books of fabric samples home to "study". He's very pleasant, an interesting guy to talk with. Both jobs were positive experiences in all aspects. We have another chair that we were ready to throw out but will likely have Tony reupholster instead.

Work performed was good, but I didn't feel great about the purchasing experience. It was a dirty shop with employees sleeping, and it took me awhile to get anyone's attention when I first showed up. The chair was done a few days later than they estimated (no big deal), but then Tony tried to charge me more than we had agreed at the start (''so, it's about $250, right?'' ''no, $225'' - fortunately I had written it down in his notebook). On the other hand, he did honestly tell me that I could go elsewhere for cheaper fabric, which I appreciated.

From the initial phone call to the pick up of the piece, Tony could not have been better to deal with. He was happy to use material that I already had, finished in less time than promised and was very reasonably priced. The chair looks fabulous. He even polished the wood for me. Had I not got the referral off of Angie's List, I might have been a bit skeptical of using him as his shop is a bit run down and not the cleanest. But the work was fantastic, and Tony and the other two workers I met there took obvious pride in the final product and were accommodating in every way. I would use him again and recommend him highly.

The quality of the work is excellent. My grandmother's chair/ottoman look brand new. Tony was very easy to work with - I was able to supply fabric for the couch, but he ordered the fabric for chair. He renegotiated the price several times as I was trying to figure out the fabric. He encouraged me to get new cushions for the couch and do both cushion and springs for the couch -and gave me a very reasonable price to do this. Plus everything was done in about 10 days. I'm glad he did. I'd use him again and will recommend him to others.

TONY RETIED ALL SPRINGS, REPAIRED FRAME AND REUPHOLSTERED USING FABRIC I PURCHASED ELSEWHERE. HE PICKED UP AND DELIVERED AT NO CHARGE AND DIDN'T BAT AN EYE WHEN I WANTED TO SUPPLY MY OWN FABRIC. HE WAS EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING, PLEASANT, AND CLEARLY PASSIONATE ABOUT WHAT HE DOES. HE DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB QUICKLY AT A GREAT PRICE. I COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED, AND AM HAVING HIM REUPHOLSTER TWO MORE PIECES.

TONY IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HAS THE BEST INTERESTS OF HIS CUSTOMERS IN MIND WHEN HE MAKES AN ESTIMATE AND DOES THE WORK. HE DID THE WORK IN LESS TIME THAN HE ESTIMATED AND THEY NOW LOOK AND FEEL GREAT. I'D DEFINITELY USE HIM AGAIN.

THERE WAS NO OUTLANDISH EXTRA ''CUTTING'' FEE FOR PROVIDING OUR OWN FABRIC. EXCELLENT QUALITY WORKMANSHIP AND SERVICE. THE GUY WHO CAME OVER WAS VERY PLEASANT AND NICE. WE WILL USE THEM AGAIN AND RECOMMEND THEM VERY HIGHLY. THEY WERE ABLE TO WORK FAST TO GET THE CHAIR DONE BEFORE WE HOSTED A BIG PARTY. A GREAT JOB ALL AROUND.
