Thor came right out to bid the job and showed up when he said he would. He was honest with his pricing and gave me some recomendations for my ice dam issues. I will use his services again.

He was very thorough. As they were progressing he took pictures to show me what they were doing. They did a good job. They did leave big chunks of ice in my walkway, which wasn't good, but they did a good job getting the ice off my roof. I had several other quotes and they were within those but it still seemed like a lot. I would use them again.

Thor was professional from the day I met him and I was able to tell he was extremely competent dealing with the insurance adjuster. I'm confident he fought for us and we maximized what the insurance company may have missed on their estimate. He also found multiple errors in the quote to our favor and explained fully what everything meant even how to deal with initial workers who were in before him on the project. He won the insurance adjuster's confidence immediately and he then deferred to Thor on any questionable items that may need to be addressed. Thor executed all expected work in a timely and quality fashion and treated our place as if it were his own. The value of working with Thor is higher than anyone I've worked with to date, meaning the quality of his crew is very high and local and the prices are fair. You could probably find someone to shoot out a lower quote, or pay someone more for the same quality of work, but for me I look for that perfect mix of quality and price and found it. We are still finishing some repairs ourselves, but if we find something where we need Thor back, I will not hesitate to call.

The work turned out very well. We had a urgent need and they responded in a very timely manner. They worked into the night to get our project done. They re prioritized another client who did not have an urgent need. I think they were comparable with other that we looked out. Since it was an urgent work we had to pay a premium for that.

Thor works in collaboration with Doug's Roofing. Doug actually came out for the initial quote, but Thor did the work. Both Thor and Doug were excellent to work with and I would definitely hire them again and refer them to others. Doug (love his huge boots) was very friendly, helpful, and answered all of our questions. He also provided a quote that split out the cost for different sections of the roof and advised us on where the highest priorities were. Compared to the rates that we saw elsewhere online, the quotes seemed very much in line. The next day, Thor quickly arranged a time that suited us to do the work and completed the work including steaming away the ice dam and raking the extra snow off the roof to prevent future dams. He even cleared away the snow that was raked off the roof. He also threw up numerous salt pucks and took the time to explain to us what he thought could be done to help ensure ice dams don't occur again. Great overall service!

On 1/15/11 I placed a call for snow removal and ice dam removal. Thor called me back very shortly and within an hour came to the home to review the project, gave me a verbal bid and an estimated date that the project could be done. Thor and his partner were out on 1/17/11 to remove all the snow from the roof and approximately 40-50 feet of ice dams. They were very professional, kept me informed on the status of the project, did an awesome job cleaning the patio, sidewalk and driveway where the snow came down, and when the project was done spent quality time talking about what they found, what prevention measures I could take for the rest of the winter and about other general options overall. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND A WONDERFUL JOB! I would not hesitate contacting them again.
