Water from ice dam leaked through my dining room windows/wall which is on the back side of my house. Thor raked snow from front and back roof. He steamed away all of the ice dams from the back roof/eave.. This was my main concern. He also removed most of the ice dams from the front of the house. The price I paid was for 2 hours of work. After 2 hrs of work was completed, we discussed whether I wanted him to continue and finish up the front eaves. He thought it might take 30 minutes. He also said that he had steamed the ice so that remaining ice would likely melt safely. I paid for 2 hours work. He explained his procedures and costs. If there was a mess, he cleaned it up. Very personable.

I was the board President of our home owner's association and the board reviewed all bids and interviewed all bidders. We were most impressed with Mr. Anderson's knowledge regarding the best type of shingle to use. He brought in a supplier that he uses to our board meeting and they were both very helpful. The job went very well. We were most impressed with Thor and his roofers as they showed up daily and worked long days (weather permitting). Thor made sure dumpsters arrived for the tear off and that roofing materials were delivered on a regular basis. He worked well with the board and safety was his first concern. The board worked with Thor on a weekly basis we informed each home owner with exact dates as to when Thor's crew would be working on their roof. Every aspect of the job went smooth and it was a pleasure to work with Mr. Anderson. He is a man of integrity, professional and I would hire him again. There were just two small issues that were corrected right away when they performed the roof inspection. Homeowners were very happy and we had no complaints. He had one of his workers walk the grounds to make sure all roofing material and roofing nails were picked up after each roof was completed. Thor advised the board of the best roofing materials. The work was started in early May 2017 and finished in three weeks. We did not have to put any money down, just paid in full as the homes were completed. Roofs look great, as does the new venting. There were about 5-10 workers on site everyday and they progressed as weather allowed. Permits were pulled and the city approved. Many of us opted to use Thor to replace or upgrade gutters.

Excellent! I was the president of our association at the time that our board approved re roofing association homes. Our re roofing project was completed summer of 2018 . Mr. Anderson was on sight daily making sure dumpsters were delivered and removed timely. That the workers showed up on time and deliveries of roof materials arrived daily and installed as delivered. The roofs were inspected after completion and only 1 or 2 small items were corrected on just 2 roofs. He always took care of any issues immediately and assisted the board in finding a quality shingle along with a sales representative he works with. We were very pleased with his companies’ performance throughout the project. He had someone on sight cleaning up daily after workers. He worked well with the all board members throughout the project. He was paid as we moved forward on this project rather than taking all the money up front. Overall we were very very pleased how quickly and efficiently the project moved along. Mr. Thor Anderson is a man of the highest integrity and I would not hesitate to hire him for any type of work he can perform.

Excellent. We spoke about price and he was responsive to immediate needs as we wanted work done before Monday am. We did not want owners or customers at risk of ice dropping down on them. He came out on a Sunday and worked well into the dark to take care of safety issues. Most pleased with his performance. He is very honest only starts the clock for charging when he is on the roof and starts steaming. No extra charges for driving or preparation time. Very honest likable contractor.

Everything was perfect! Thor is the best. This is the second time I have had him remove ice dams on my house. Quick to answer the phone and come out. All around great guy! Definitely hire.

Thor talked with my insurance company personally and was able to coordinate payments for everything that needed fixing. He had the roof replaced for my house and detached garage, and replaced the siding for my house himself. All of the work went with few delays and the house looks great.

Earlier this winter I was in the final stages of selling my home when icicles pushed open a portion of the soffit and fascia on the second floor porch of my 105-year old home. Obviously it had to be repaired before I could close and I was VERY worried about being able to find someone reliable and reasonably priced to do a one-off job like that after winter had already settled in. Fortunately I found Thor here on Angie's List. He responded immediately and visited the site to look at the project within 24 hours of my first contact. He's knowledgeable and a consummate professional. He completed the project within 72 hours and you'd never know there was an issue in the first place. He also did it for an amazingly low price. I'd hire Thor in a second if I had another job. A terrific guy as well as a craftsman!

Thor arrived on time and diagnosed our roof leak and spent time to explain the issue and the leak is now fixed and our house is dry. He cleaned up efficiently after the job and we highly recommend his services to anyone.

Thor came over and looked at the house. Said he would get back to me with an estimate. Never did--10 days ago. Called and left a voice mail. No response.

Thor is a great guy. He was very up front, honest, and professional. He does quality work, and is very responsive when I had questions. He would always explain what he was doing and where he was at with the project. I saw Thor redo areas he was not happy with that I would have never questioned. If you want high quality work from a contractor that does not take short cuts Thor is your guy.

Thor arrived on time with all the necessary materials and stayed with his workers until the job was done. He is professional and very personable. You can rely on him to do first class work in a timely manner and to leave your yards picked up and tidy.

Thor did a very thorough job of explaining what he was going to do, made suggestions on what we could do to improve the house and completed the job in the right timeframe. He even suggested we do some additional insulation in our attic, with that and the new windows and doors, our heating bill alone was cut in half and paid for the additional insulation in less than two years. He is a contractor who cares about his work and it shows.

I can not say enough good things about Thor. He went up and beyond what a contractor does. My insurance company didn't want to pay for the damage from the storm and said it can be patched. I had multiple contactors come out and see and they all said a total replace. Thor took care of everything including talking to my insurance company and fighting with them to pay for the total replacement of everything! I never found a nail when he was done! It was like he wasn't even there. The last people who did my roof I found nails the next year NOT with Thor! He is a very organized and clean contractor. He was very fast. Got it done in only 1 weekend! Everything looks amazing and works wonderful! He is now my go to contractor and I won't use anyone else but him! Very fair pricing and very trustworthy! Thor was very professional and got all the work done very fast. He kept his work area very clean and organized also cleaned up very well just like he wasn't even there. Our windows look amazing and work great! The siding he replaced matches the other siding on the house and the other side of the garage to a t! The trim and drip caps he put around the windows and garage look great! We will definitely keep Thors number and use him on up coming projects around our house and are telling others what an amazing job he did! Trust worthy, hard working, fast, reliable, doesn't nickel and dime you, very organized, clean worker.

The crew removed completely the ice dams using hatchets, which damaged several shingles. I had to hire a contractor to repair the roof.

He came at 1:00 in the afternoon and stayed until 7:00 when the job was done. he talked with my daughter and sent pictures throughout the job. She felt confident that I was being taken care of. I would call him a five star person. He was fantastic. He is a very nice person to do business with. This gentleman was so nice to my family and I we would hire him again we can't say enough about him. All my nieghbors ask where I found him due to what a great a job he did.

Oh my god, they were wonderful. He was terrific. He was timely and delightful, and he did a great job. The only problem was, I wish we had done it sooner.

I needed about 2 feet of snow and deep ice dams removed from my roof because I was experiencing leaking in several places. I had never had snow and ice removed before and contacted Thor because he used steam to melt the ice which I had heard was the safest way to do it. He scheduled an appointment quickly and arrived promptly. He explained what he suggested doing with some options, answered questions and gave me an accurate estimate before doing the work. He and his partner worked continuously for the time needed to complete the work (about 4.5 hrs). He supplied a detailed invoice with excellent photographs for insurance purposes. I was very pleased with all aspects of the work.
