Work was done well and quickly at a reasonable price. A pleasant guy to work with, no BS, and I'd certainly go back.

It went wonderful! He welded my muffler back together and it took only a half an hour and I was on my way!

This guy is great! I believe in driving a car until it literally falls apart. He changed my muffler twice - over a LONG period of time (not that it was a problem with his work) for less for both times than any other estimates I got for once. This guy doesn't sell you what you don't need. He will weld stuff together instead of just telling you that you need a whole new pipe, when your pipe is fine. I recommend him to all my friends and family, and will only go to him for muffler repair. Do yourself a favor and pick him!!!!

This car is 15 years old, but I want to drive it for another year. I did some internet research and estimated the Toyota dealer would charge ~$1100 to fix it. I found the Wonderful Muffler Man on Angie's List and called them. I stopped by for an estimate the next day; it only toook about 10 minutes and the price was great -- $339. That included a new catalytic converter as you cannot re-install a used one. I scheduled the repair and it only took about an hour. The "ambience" at this garage reflects their extremely low overhead, but it was worth it to get this work done well and at a reasonable price!

The two visits were good overall. Tom obviously knows what he is doing and I appreeciated the fact that without a job right now, he just fixed the problem, and didn't try and upsell me an entire exhaust system. My only comment for them would be that since I had to wait for my vehicle, I accessed their lobby and restroom. Hopefully most customers just drop their vehicles because ambience was less than appealing, and the restrrom was functional but also not very welcoming. Otherwise, from a mechanical standpoint, I highly recomment Tom and The Wonderful Muffler Man.

What a great find! The tailpipe on our Honda had rusted and fallen off. I had kept the actual piece and brought the car (and old pipe) into The Wonderful Muffler Man. He took a quick look and pronounced the rest of the exhaust system sound. (Modern exhausts are generally stainless steel and quite durable. They're also expensive to replace.) Then, the real shocker: When I told him I had the old pipe and that the flange had rusted apart he said he'd just cut the existing pipe, weld on a new flange and reattach it. Amazing! It's so rare and refreshing to find someone willing (and capable enough) to actually repair something versus simply replacing it with a new part. I'm certain one of the chain muffler places would have tried to sell me a whole new exhaust system or at the very least a new tailpipe versus a simple repair job. There is nothing fancy about his shop but don't be put off, he's a great find and I'll be taking any exhaust work to him in the future.

After my car repair shop wanted to charge me over $500 for a new muffler and exhaust pipes I searched Angie's List for muffler shop reviews. (My car is 12 yrs. old--so at this point I really don't want to invest a huge amount of money into it.) I went to a couple places to get estimates. One place I went to was reasonable but the way they described how they were going to do the repair sounded convoluted. The other place I went to was The Wonderful Muffler Man. I called and made an appointment to stop in for an estimate. The original estimate was $137, but when I got the actual work done it only cost $88. The service I received was prompt and efficient. I brought the car in early in the morning and went down the road to a coffee shop to wait. They checked in with me to let me know what the extent of the repair was going to be and approximately how long it would take. They called me again when they had completed the work. Took less than an hour and a half. I am a little late in writing this review (writing it in March 2010) but I can say that the muffler repair is still intact even after contending with all the potholes.

He was amazing. He located the problem and cut it off and welded a new piece fan without replacing the entire muffler. It was a good thing because the original mufflers are resistant to corrosion. He saved me $500 by not replacing the entire muffler. He was very professional, easy to work with and he was quick and completed the work in 20 minutes.

I called up and made an appointment. He took a couple of hours to put it in. The price was reasonable. He was punctual and professional.

Went in for an estimate--got the diagnosis and scheduled the work for later the same day. Work was done on time and got a prompt call to tell me it was complete

He was the only mechanic we could find that would repair the oil sensor for us. Nobody else wanted to even try to repair it. He did a very good job, and got the work done on time. Also he charged a very fair price. We were very impressed with his work.

He was polite and explained exactly what was wrong with our vehicle and what needed to be done. He did a great job and we are very pleased with the results.

Their price was reasonable and within guidelines. They did an excellent job. He worked alone and seemed very efficient. They were able to get my car in right away and they were able to do the work in the amount of time they said they would. The person who greeted me at the desk was very friendly. I got their name from Angie's List.

Ozzie is one of the best business people I have met. He is honest, fair and his prices are the best. His work is fast and done right the first time. It is difficult to find honest people to work on vehicles, but I will recommend this shop to everyone out there. You will get an honest estimate of what needs work with no "extras" added. This is a small shop but I am very happy with the job. Let's keep people like this in business. A+++

I work on cars a lot and thought my wife's car needed a full new exhaust system. I was very pleased that they called and said all I needed was new hangers welded on. They could have sold me the whole system, but were very honest. I'll be bringing other work to this fine establishment.

I received estimates from two other places, both of whom found the same two other exhaust leaks further up the system. Both places recommended replacing the entire exhaust system from except for the manifold at a cost of about $1000 for each. I made an appointment with the Wonderful Muffler Man, where Ozzy diagnosed the same three leaks (obvious rusted break plus the two leaks). He recommended replacing all of the pipe, saving the existing muffler and resonator. He fixed it while I was there, about two hours. Ozzy knows exhaust systems and is very skilled. He doesn't just slap replacement parts on cars like many shops, he understands how cars and their exhaust systems need to work and works on all kinds of cars, including classics. In all likelihood you will need to schedule an appointment, but it is well worth it. I highly recommend Ozzy. I wish there were more auto repair shops with people like him.

Great. I dropped off the car the night before. They called back in the morning with an estimate and had the work done by the end of the day.

We had never used this company before this time and we were not sure how the service was going to be. We later found out that they are a wonderful company and their prices and service were excellent. They did not take long to fix our car and they also recommended things that would need to be fixed at a later date. They were honest and friendly as well.

Called on Wednesday and was able to get an appointment for the next morning. Guaranteed that he could get the work done in one hour so I could get to work on time. Repair took 40 minutes and cost was much lower than an estimate from another shop. Customer service was excellent and I'm very happy with the work that was done.

I called on Wednesday, dropped it off on Thursday morning, and picked it up Thursday evening. Everything went very well. Nice people to work with as well.

It ended up being a simple repair but I was very pleased with the courtesy and service of this business. My wife and I dropped the car off in the morning and the repair was complete by afternoon. You can also wait for your car if you have an appointment but it worked better for us just to leave the car. I was happy not to be told I would have to replace a lot of parts as seems typical when going to one of the chain muffler shops.
