Needed a new muffler, and used Angie's List to see what local shops had good ratings. WMM had lots of glowing reviews, so stopped there for an estimate. He came outside immediately, crawled under the car to take a look, and told me what was needed and gave a quick estimate. I dropped the car off the next day on the way to work, and they said to call in before I came to pick it up. I couldn't remember the number later in the day, so just went to the shop. The car wasn't done yet, but they started on it shortly after, and it was finished in about an hour. The price was what they quoted. They were very professional and friendly, and I felt good about the price and that they didn't advise me that I needed to replace more of the exhaust system. This is the kind of experience that makes me more than happy to pay for membership to get others' referrals.

I'd recommend them to everyone. They had fast service, had to wait a bit, but they got me taken care of within the day.

Highly recommend. Monday morning 6:05 AM, Ozzy was excellent in quickly diagnosing the problem, providing an estimate. I left the car and hopped on the 262 @ 6:25 for downtown St. Paul. The owner (who goes by Ozzie) was very friendly and courteous on my arrival, did the job nicely and I was on my way to work within 35 minutes after I arrived. I appreciated his honesty immensely, especially after being lied to by the other place. It's nice to know there are still some honest auto shops around. I'll go back there for any exhaust problem that I have in the future.

A PREVIOUS NAME BRAND MUFFLER SHOP SAID THE MUFFLER WAS STARTING TO LEAK AND MAKE NOISE; THEY ALSO SAID IT WOULD BE NECESSARY TO REPLACE THE CONNECTING PIPE, RESONATOR AND TAILPIPE BECAUSE IT WAS ALL ONE UNIT AND IN REPLACING ONLY THE MUFFLER, THE OLD CONNECTING PIPE COULDN'T BE CONNECTED TO THE NEW MUFFLER WITHOUT LEAKING. THE WONDERFUL MUFFLER MAN LOOKED AND REPORTED THAT THE MUFFLER ONLY HAD SMALL DAMAGE TO THE OUTER COVER; FURTHER, THAT THIS IS A TOTALLY STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST SYSTEM, AND THE NEW PARTS WOULD ONLY BE STEEL, WHICH WOULD NOT LAST AS LONG AS THE STAINLESS STEEL ONE THAT CAME FROM THE FACTORY. HE SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR. I APPRECIATED HIS HONESTY AND OFFERED HIM MONEY FOR HIS TIME and ADVISE. HIS STANDARD INSPECTION CHARGE IS $16 AND I GAVE HIM $25.AND I WILL CERTAINLY RETURN TO HIM IN THE FUTURE! I GOT HIS NAME FROM ANGIE'S LIST WHERE YOUR REPORTS SHOWED HIS CHARGES WERE THE MOST REASONABLE AND HE WAS VERY HONEST---THAT'S VERY VERY TRUE! THANKS!

No problems. I used them as they were the only one who specialized in muffler work only (i.e. no brakes, engine work, etc.). They were quite knowledgeable.

They were able to get me in within 24 hours of my phone call. The work was done while I waited, it was quick and efficient. I have a lifetime guarantee on the parts as long as I own the car. Their fee was much less than other shops I had priced. I highly recommend this company.

I CALLED THE SHOP AND MADE SURE IT WAS OKAY TO JUST STOP IN FOR AN ESTIMATE (IT WAS), THEN DROVE OVER TO THE SHOP. IT'S A SMALLER PLACE THAT APPEARS TO BE FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED. A MECHANIC CHECKED OUT MY CAR AND QUICKLY DETERMINED THAT IT WAS THE MUFFLER. HE GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE OF $100. I HAD TO WAIT A LITTLE BIT BUT THEY DID FIT ME IN, AND WITHIN TWO HOURS THE WORK WAS DONE. THE FINAL COST WAS LESS THAN $90, WHICH I THOUGHT WAS MORE THAN REASONABLE. JUST AS IMPORTANT, ALL FOUR PEOPLE WITH WHOM I HAD CONTACT (INCLUDING THE OWNER'S FATHER, WHO GREETED ME WHEN I ENTERED THE SHOP) TREATED ME RESPECTFULLY. I ABSOLUTELY WILL RETURN TO THIS SHOP.
