Working with Seestedt's was a delight from my initial visit to their showroom to the finished installation. The sales person helped me talk through my needs and challenges and provided excellent advice and a good supply of flooring samples. The bid for the flooring that I selected was very competitive. Communication throughout all aspects of the process was exceptional. Installation was done at a time that worked well for me and was absolutely wonderful. The finished result is beautiful. No fuss, no worries, just conscientious and professional work!

We have so enjoyed working with Seestedt's every step of the way in installing laminate flooring in 3 bedrooms in our home. Our relationship with them started in enjoying their extreme patience in selecting the right flooring. We worked with Roxann, and she never made us feel like we needed to hurry up and pick something. The hours were also very helpful, allowing us to go in the evenings a couple of nights. Once we chose the right flooring, the estimate was exact and professional, the installation was excellent, with great attention to detail in cutting of the boards, even around the doorframes. We had originally hoped to redo the carpet in our basement as well, but in the end decided to hold off on that project for now, and they were very understanding and professional about that as well. We will definitely go to them again for any future flooring needs. They are very good at establishing a relationship with the customer, without charging the customer an arm and a leg for it.

Laminate installer arrived on time. Installed laminate in kitchen and entryway. Cleaned up afterwards. Both floors look amazing. Same with the carpet. 3 installers came, installed carpet in about 45 minutes. Cleaned up and vacuumed afterwards. We have used Seestedt's in the past, and feel that both their prices and their installers are the best. We have never had any issues with the quality of either the product or their workmen.

They asked us some questions and actually talked us into just refinishing our existing floor instead of replacing it. They still showed us everything we wanted to see. I thought it was great that they went out of their way to help us even if it meant not getting a sale and referring us to a completely separate company.

They were recommended by my nephew. I told them I wanted Olson samples and they came out with them. I found a pattern I liked and I am?happy with their work but I don't like carpeting that has seams but?that is the only thing I?don't?like. So far nothing has come apart and there are no flaws that I can see. I thought the price was reasonable and I will use them again in the future.

They did a good job -- came out ahead of the job and double-checked the measurements. I previously had them install carpet, and that had lasted 15 years. They did an excellent job with the area rugs, too -- the edging is professional looking, and it is working very well for us. These people are accessible, helpful and professional.

The project went really. They were good to work with. Very prompt, exceeded my expectations with some minor issues and made the project look really good.

Seestedts has a nice selection of various flooring products. People in the office are a pleasure to work with. Parking at their showroom is a minor challenge as everything is metered or pay lots. But, the selection and service is very good. Once I picked out the vinyl product I wanted, we looked for install dates. They have numerous installers they work with and the prices were competitive. We found an install date 1 week out and all went well. We are pleased with Seestedts and the final product.

The installer was excellent. The job was completed on time and as bid. I highly and enthusiastically recommend Seestedt’s.

I did not end up purchasing anything from them but that was only because they did not have the kind of carpet I wanted. They did an awesome job and the people in the store were wonderfully helpful. They were really good but the only thing was that the carpet I found I wanted, they could not access. It was beyond their control but if they had it, I would have definitely ordered it from them.

After get overwhelmed with choices and minimal design services at Home Depot and Menards, I decided to keep it local and went to Seestedt?s in St. Paul (who did my previous carpet installed). What a difference. I received excellent design and sales consulting services from Tina. My budget was low in trying to just do some cosmetics to upgrade my home to sell. She quickly zoned in and offered me carpet & flooring options that worked well budget and color scheme-wise. Tina also gave me the best sales prices making them comparable to the big box stores. They scheduled the installs quickly and with good quality. They handled old house issues too ? the kitchen floor install took much longer. The crews were on-time and clean-up afterward. I did have my contractor do the moving of furniture, etc. which required more coordination. The only improvement for Seestedt?s is to make sure the truck carries enough metal strips to finish the floor. The installer had to go back to the store to get more to finish the kitchen floor install.

My experience with Seestedt's was great. The sales person at the showroom was helpful and they had a wonderful selection to choose from. Two gentlemen came out to install the carpet. They arrived on time and did a very professional job.

We went into see their showroom, and within a half and hour we had a guy there measuring our kitchen. The guy had some free time just as we got in there and told us he could come over right then and there. Plus, they were half the price another company wanted to charge me. They were on time and came on the day I needed them to come. So far the floor has held up for 5 years and I would recommend them to everyone.

Seestedt's was really wonderful to work with, from the quote stage through installation. They helped us find an inexpensive remnant for our smaller room which helped us save about $100. The installation began on time and went very quickly. Our installer was a very nice gentlemen and very thorough. We are completely happy with the final result.

Salesperson was experienced and gave me several options for the carpeting. Two experienced carpet layers arrived on time and installed the carpet in approximately 6 hours. They were courteous and cleaned up well afterward.

After having a bad experience with another company overestimating my square footage by 25%, I went to Seestedt's. I got what I was looking for, a helpful sales person, reasonable prices, and excellent installation. I removed the old carpet and pad and hauled it to the landfill for $60 to save some money. The pad prices were less than half what the other place quoted, and the same carpet was way less, so even though I didn't get the "$99 installation" and "freebies" the other place advertised, I saved $2000. You can't go wrong with a place that has been in business for a long time.

Good selection, very knowledgeable people, they've been at it for decades.

I was referred to Seestedt's as a place to get materials for work I was having done on the house. Tina very kindly showed me my options and helped me pick out the best materials that were within my budget. When one of my choices turned out to be back ordered, she called me up promptly and helped me choose something else that I was satisfied with.

We've been buying carpet/vinyl flooring from Seestedts for years, but we're never going to step foot in the place again. We needed vinyl flooring within a week, because people were going to move into one of our rental properties on 4-24-08. We stopped by on 4-14-08 and I ordered some vinyl flooring for about $316. I asked the lady how long it would take, and she said 3-5 days. I asked her to call if it's on backorder. Well apparently it was not in stock so she called my husband and told him. He told her it wasn't going to work out. Our carpet/vinyl flooring guys were planning on laying the flooring on the 4-21-08. We ended up having to go to Lowe's to buy some in-stock flooring. Well around 4-24-08 we get a call that the flooring is in. We told them that we had to buy it somewhere else and we had told them that we didn't want it. They ended up sending it back but charged us over 30% ($98) restocking fee. I couldn't believe it after the thousands we spent over the years at Seestedts. Anyway, we got 15 year vinyl flooring at Lowe's for a lot less than 6 year vinyl flooring at Seestedts.

I have always had a good experience with them. In the showroom, their staff are very helpful and show you products that match your specifications. We purchased the carpet and vinyl flooring from them and they then installed it for me. They came to the house and measured all the areas before the order was complete to ensure there is no problem in getting the right amount of material. When it came to the installation, everything went smoothly. I am very happy with the quality of their work. They were reasonably prompt and responsive. They did good quality work. They all seem like a quality group of people.

Jason measured. Was pleasant. Install would take 2 days. Jason arrived on date scheduled at 8:15. Stacked flooring in foyer on bare wood. Never attempted to put down any drop cloths. Began to saw under the door jams with a power saw, causing sawdust to fly throughout the house. Jason was asked if they normally put plastic up to contain sawdust. "No". We asked him to put up plastic on two doors to contain it within work area. For the remainder of the installation, Jason was surly and un-communicative. He left at 11:15 for lunch and returned at 12:45, only to leave for the day at 2:30 and said he would return at 8a.m. He arrived at 8:45, knowing we had counter installers arriving that morning. He was unfriendly to the other contractors and left at 11 a.m. with work complete. Total work time of 7 1/2 hrs. Jason and helper were smokers and left cigarette butts on driveway and subway wrapper on lawn. Stored smoke smelling garbage can in laundry room which we removed. Unprofessional.

We received an estimate for either sheet goods or Adura tile. The estimator was prompt and courteous. The estimate was not unreasonable. We decided to go with a ceramic tile installer that got great reviews on Angie's List, especially for meeting up to hard wood flooring.

Great. We love this floor. It looks so good and is so easy to take care of!

I visited several stores and was impressed by the knowledge of the staff. Instead of telling me what they like and don't like about flooring they gave me the pro's and con's about each product in an unbiased manner (other stores kept steering me toward pergo for some reason). Everything went well with the install, it happened on time, and there were no surprises. The showroom has more samples than big box retailers.
