They did an excellent job of explaining the options and respecting my concerns about not tearing the rubber membrane under the old carpet. I was a less than impressed with the carpet manufacturer, Shaws, for back ordering the carpet two times for a total of a month.

We had an excellent experience. Seestedt's was our second estimate. They beat the pricing of our first estimate by over $1,000 and we were able to upgrade the quality of carpet as well. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They delivered in every way. We will use Seestedt's again.

I found this company on Angie's List and they were very helpful. They provided us good service. They came out to our home and brought samples and measured and everything.

After I had put down a down payment on the carpet we picked out, I realized I forgot to tell Miriam our design Consultant about the Angie's List coupon that I had. Miriam was very helpful and called me back the next business day to say she applied the discount. From start to finish, Seestedt's was very helpful and informative. The day of the installation Jose and Marco came when they said they would and got to work right away. They were efficient and made sure that we were kept up to date on the progress. After the carpet was installed, they did a quick vacuum and made sure we had a chance to look over the job before they left. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know.

They were punctual and showed up within the 2 hour window I was given. They did an excellent job replacing the carpet pad and reinstalling the carpet I had pulled back. They cut the carpet around a curved bar area where I had tile placed for a bar and fireplace. The carpet meets the tile perfectly, and the installation looks very professional. They also did an excellent job with cleanup after they were done.

Awesome in store service. Prices seemed high at first blush, but included the cost of padding and carpet installation fee in the cost per square foot. Tina was great to work with. We had to delay our carpet install 2x in order to finish construction on the room and Seestedt's was super accommodating. I would definitely work with them for all of my future carpet needs.

So far, staff is very helpful and courteous. It will be at least one month or more before the actual installation.

Installation crew of 3 was quick and efficient; cleaned up at each stage of the process; left no mess. Carpet is well-fitted and well-attached. Sales staff in store was knowledgeable; not high-pressure; willing to answer any questions and show us all the options.

Seestedt's is a great company to do business with. They offer an extensive selection of carpeting in all styles, colors, and price ranges from all major manufacturer's, which can be viewed in their downtown St. Paul showroom. Our salesperson RoxAnn was very knowledgeable and was able to provide very useful help in making our selection. Our choice had to be special ordered, but only took about a week to arrive. Seestedt's set up an install date with us in anticipation of the carpet's arrival date. They called us the day before scheduled delivery to reconfirm. On installation day the crew arrived ahead of time and and so were able to complete the job sooner than expected. The installation crew was comprised of three workers who removed old carpeting and pad from two bedrooms and a hall way. They moved furniture as part of the job as well as removed and rehung 4 doors to lay the carpet. They were extremely professional and efficient in doing their job. We are extremely happy with our decision to use Seestedt's and have already recommended them to others.

Working with Seestedts was easy - they returned calls promptly and gave direct, helpful answers. Seestedt's pricing was lower than their competitors by 20%. The installers came out on time and installed the flooring very quickly. And the final product looks great!

We used Angie's List and chose Seesteds to install carpet in three rooms plus stairs and hallway. Pat, the owner/sales rep. was very easy to work with. After we chose the carpets and pads, Paul carefullly and thoughtfully measured the areas. A couple weeks later, after the carpet arrived, Tim and Mark installed it. What a beautiful job they did! Everything went as we expected. The workers were prepared, hellpful, and courteous.

It went very smoothly. The team worked well together, each knowing what needed to be done and doing it. They were very thorough and in tune with our expectations.

I went in to the showroom looking for cheap flooring options for my duplex kitchen. They suggested a number of good options and we found one that worked for my budget, including installation. I was fully expecting this to be a DIY job, but it ended up not needing to be! The guys who came out to lay the floor couldn't have been nicer and did a beautiful job. Everyone I have had contact with has been very nice and very helpful.

We had extremely old linoleum tiles in our 1894 kitchen. We dropped in on Seestedts during the Christmas holidays to talk about a replacement floor.. They directed us to their own parking spots so we wouldn't have to pay for parking. They were very helpful in discussing the characteristics and maintenance of the Marmoleum floor , and sent us home with about five or six samples. The estimator came out within several days, and the estimate arrived by e-mail promptly. We worked with Pat at Seestedts to resolve some of our unique circumstances. For example, since the home is a historic home, we wanted to use existing molding, and in some cases install new oak thresholds. We talked about the need to cut the doors, since the floor would be raised about 3/8 inch, unless we wanted to have an asbestos abatement firm take out our old tiles. We scheduled the installation for about a month in the future, in order to get some of this work done by others. Terry came out last Monday, and installed the Marmoleum and the molding. He did a fabulous job. There are seven doors in the kitchen, and many other nooks and crannies. In other words, not a straight line in the place.... There also was a radiator to cut around. The floor looks perfect, and you cannot see where the seams are. We are very pleased that we decided to go to Seestedts!

We've used Seestedt's before for carpeting on our bedrooms so we knew they would be the first place we would look when we were ready to doo the kitchen floor . We'd brought sample of our new cabinet finish and new counter top. Roxanne was very helpful - offering opinions about what looked good with them but not really trying to sway us any one way. We narrowed it down to three vinyl samples to take home. She suggested we see them in the lighting and daylight that comes into our kitchen. Once we got them home and made a decision, Paul came out to check that our selection would work. Good thing he did. We wanted the new vinyl to butt up to an existing Oakwood floor without a transition moulding (since that was what our old vinyl did). The vinyl we'd selected was too thick (cushy :}) but we really liked the color. Back to Roxanne who found something in a Mannington color chart that might work. Seestedt's didn't have a sample in the store but she had a rep get her a sample for us. We liked it even better than the first choice! Thanks Roxanne. The installer and his son were great. Arrived on time and finished when they said they would. The transition to the wood floor looks great (thanks for the extra effort on that Tom!). As in previous experiences with Seestedt's it was a pleasure.

Found a reasonably priced remnant to carpet a guest bedroom. The people at Seestedt's were very helpful and patient. We originally bought the carpet in July and were going to have it installed after new patio doors were replaced in the room. The doors were delayed until November and they were very patient in waiting until then to install the carpet. The installers were very good and neat.

We went to Seestedt's on a busy Saturday morning. The saleswoman was helpful and was very open about showing us the carpet remnants that were on sale (which were beautiful). She sent someone to our house to measure, got us a quote and we had our runner installed within 10 days of our initial shopping. We tried to price compare at Home Depot and couldn't even find a sales associate to help us. Seestedt's is thorough, professional, and a local company!

This company has it all. After looking around and and talking with a lot of carpet stores Seestadts really shined through. Tina was fantastic keeping us on budget and really knowing her stuff. And when it came to the installation, the guys did a great job. Quick, clean and professional. We plan to use them in the future for sure.

Set up an appointment for estimator to come out. He was on time (even a little early). He measured and told us how they would lay the carpeting in the most efficient way. The installers came and moved the furniture with care and put in 12 hours in order to finish the job in one day! This really made it easier for us so we could get back to normal.
