NatureWise Chem-Dry

Looked fine when finished, but within two weeks large spots appeared. I assume it was where he sprayed something to treat dog urine. I am going to call and have them look at it to see what they think.

We have a couple of cats and we were gone for a couple of days. Someone else was watching them and one of the cats had vomited on the furniture. They did a fine job getting the stain out. The price was reasonable.

I do not normally write reviews but was so impressed with every aspect of NatureWise Chem-Dry's service from responsiveness to my Angie's List question, to lead time, to Dan's professionalism, and of course the quality of the service...just a great experience.

Dan arrived on time and did a fantastic job. The bedroom carpet had some stains on it and they were removed. Would highly recommend.

I was absolutely amazed at this service all-around! They were prompt, professional and personable. Explained the procedure and provided a very reasonable price, prior to cleaning. I was excited about the pet - treatment and that it would take only a few hours to clean and would dry within hours after. I was overly impressed with how well my carpets felt and smelled after the cleaning! And their pricing is extremely reasonable. I, and my neighbors, have used them and will continue to refer them to other neighbors and friends. This company - Paula - and her team are GREAT!!! I would highly recommend them and will be using them for many years to come. Thank you for being such a fantastic and legitimate company!

Showed up on time and were very professional. Walked through all of the details and did a great job at getting the carpets cleaned.

We were very happy with their services. He did the dinning room, living room (the living room is quite large), a stairway, rump and another stairway. He put a pet care coat on the carpet because I'd asked him if he could do that and that was additional. I liked the quality of what he did. We were very satisfied with the cleaning. I would definitely use them again.

They were awesome and completely got rid of the cat pee and odor. My mom was very impressed with the cleaning and the technicians. They were friendly and explained everything very thoroughly. The cleaning products they used was all natural and non-toxic. I would use them for any carpet or upholstery cleaning.

Amazing. Now I know why the company doesn't have to spend $$ on advertising! The techs were timely, professional, efficient, and friendly. The company provides several levels of cleaning/treatment and to my surprise the techs didn't try to sell me the most expensive option - the tech actually said our carpet wasn't really all that dirty(!) With all the pet urine, I expected otherwise. Well, after treatement the urine smell returned (as Paula had said it would). She came back at no cost and retreated the areas. When that didn't seem to work she sent me emails with suggestions, other ideas, whatever she could think of - this was service above and beyond the $150 I paid. After the holidays we pulled up said carpet and discovered recent and some old stains from the prior owners. I emailed Paula, elated that we'd finally solved the mystery (why our pets were urinating in a strange place as we've had them for 8-18 years and never had a problem in this house or anywhere else). Here's where I unknowingly went wrong: when the urinating started I treated it myself with UrineOff, Nature's Miracle, and even baking soda and vinegar . . . then I made the big mistake of steam-vac-ing the carpet (probably while still damp). I must have pulled all those old odors up to the surface (hardwood floors-house built in 1930). Duh! So, don't try to clean it yourself, call Paula! She went above and beyond.

They were terrific. They promptly answered all questions prior to coming over. On day of service, they explained how their cleaning system works, and what to expect. They asked if there were any stains or other concerns we wanted addressed. I was amazed at the results- we had new carpeting installed 2 years ago, and had never had it cleaned. After they finished, it looked brand-new, even the heavy traffic areas! Carpets dried within a few hours, and were only slightly damp when they left. Will definitely use them in the future, and recommend them to friends and family.

Paula was great with communications and showed up as planned despite snowstorm. She and Dan were at our house for 3 hours. Have used them before and will again.

We moved into a house that had been abused. It was unbearable. The carpet was gross. Nature wise came in and treated everything, the price was fair, and the personal touch was appreciated. I would use them again!

very professional and very nice. did a good job. unfortunately, some of the pet stain treatments wicked up dirt from the pad underneath, but they have been wonderful to come out and clean these areas again at no extra cost. they have excellent customer service and I will definitely use them again.

We had a great experience with NatureWise Chem-Dry and Paula, the owner. They were responsive, easy to work with, and stood behind their product. We had a few cat urine spots in our hallway that had gotten almost unbearable. We tried cleaning them ourselves, but the smell kept coming back, so we determined we needed an expert. Because we had already done a lot of cleaning, the technician from Chem-Dry wasn't able to use a blacklight to find the trouble spots, so the poor guy got down on his hands and knees and smelled the stinky carpet looking for the source. Once he found it, he doused the spot with their cleaning agent. It took quite a long time to dry -- a few days at least -- but they warned us that would be the case, because the carpet needed to be completely saturated. After a few weeks, the smell started to come back, although not as strongly. After we confirmed with a black light that there weren't any new spots, Paula determined that they must have missed a spot. She sent out another technician at no charge, who took care of the remaining spots. She didn't give us any hassle at all about the second application. Hopefully we won't need this procedure done again any time soon, but if we do, we'll happily use NatureWise Chem-Dry.

Not a good experience and would not use provider again. Carpet took over 24 hours to dry. A bad odor filled space for 2-3 days. The young man providing the service understood my dismay when I checked the work prior to paying and the rooms SMELLED - so he discounted me the room that smelled the worst though the entire work area smelled for 2-3 days. The business owner /manager, Paula, NEVER called to follow-up on the work or our satisfaction. This morning, 3 weeks later, she called asking for the rest of her money, indicating that her contractor told her I was not happy though she said "You should have called if not satisfied" even though her contractor told her following the appointment. This confuses me, I would expect the provider to follow-up with the me upon learning I was not happy with the service. When I communicated this and told her I was going to post my experience on Angie's List, she hung up on me telling me to "Keep my $50 and never contact them again" which was my intention prior to her unprofessional phone call. Though I would not have taken the time to make the post had this not unfolded as it has. There are a TON of carpet cleaners in the cities, don't use this one.

Paula and her husband went out of their way to have our home cleaned on the day and time that we needed. They did an outstanding job and we will surely use them again and again.

They did a really good job. They were just really thorough and they were quick. It went really well.

They did that work nicely. I have a lot of pet marks that needed to come up. I paid an extra $200 for that. They did the living room, dining room, bedroom, hallway and some stairs. One employee came out and it took him about 2 hours.

Excellent company from start to finish. Setting up an appointment and getting information on my options over the phone was easy. Everything was explained thoroughly. The technician arrived at the appointment on time and did an excellent job; everything was as described setting up the appointment. Competitively-priced and professional; I'll be using NatureWise Chem-Dry again when I need my carpets and upholstery cleaned again.

The company left my carpets soaked for 2 days and counting. They advertise drying time of only a few hours. Over 48 hours later, my carpet still wet. On Aug.20th at 1:30pm. A crew from Nature Wise ChemDry showed up to clean the carpeting in most of my house (4 areas and stairs). The carpeting is less than a year old. As they were bringing the machine in, I noticed how filthy dirty the equipment was underneath. It was filled with pet hair and dirt. I told Dan (the technician) to clean that up before bringing that into my house. He did. Then Dan explained to me the procedure of the carpet cleaning and explained the furniture would be moved to be sure to clean under it. I went to check on the crew after a little while and noticed they were cleaning AROUND furniture that could be moved (desk and small armoire). So I lifted the furniture with Dan into the kitchen area. Over all,the technicians seemed in a hurry and I could tell they were cutting corners. When they were done, I asked them to move the furniture back but they refused stating they no longer had any protective pads to put under the legs of the furniture and since the carpet was really wet, the legs of furniture could stain the carpet. So they left me with 2 pieces of furniture in middle of my kitchen that I couldn't move by myself. Needless to say,I was less than happy with their performance. As they left, I noticed the carpet felt very wet under my barefeet but assumed it would dry in a few hours as the technician kept telling me. That did not happen. That evening (over 4 hours later) my husband came home, walked through the carpet in his socks and his socks were soaked! Then, the next morning I woke up to wet carpet everywhere in my house and carpet smelling like an old rag (mildewy smell). I contacted the owner, Paula and explained everything. She came over later that day with her husband Eric. After they moved my furniture back, they used a moisture reader and found the carpet was wet in all the 4 rooms they cleaned. What is very worrisome is the fact that the moisture reading on the carpet pad (which is underneath the carpet, was the wettest of it all. Paula said it shouldn't have been this way and would ask Dan why he didn't do more water extraction when he cleaned my carpets. I asked her if she could extract some of the excess water to dry out the carpets and she said no. She apologize, gave me my money back and said she would check on me the next day and see what could be done about it. She told me to run fans and set my air conditioner to very cold. I did all that. It was so cold in my house that I had to wear a sweater. I had the fans run all day and all night. The next morning she came with a much harder attitude. She first said that the wetness had to be caused by pet urine. So she brought her blue light and looked over all the areas that are still wet to see if any pet urine was found. None was found. When she saw that excuse did not stand, she changed her defense by saying that the moisture on all those areas of my house must have been caused by someone/something else! I told her that was ludicrous. Its obvious she just didn't want to take ownership of the damage she caused. I told her I just wanted her to do the right thing. She responded, she needed to do what was right for her and that was it. I asked her for her insurance company name and she refused to give that to me. She simply left me with a mess on my hands that was caused by her company. It is a common knowledge that mold starts to grow around 24hr to 48hrs. I shared this info with her but she stated that was not true.I told her my family have strong allergies to mold but she didn't care to do the right thing then either. I told her I wanted her to have the carpets removed but she refused saying that was my job to do that since she thinks my carpets were magically wet in my entire house before her crew showed up at my house. I hope she will be kept accountable for what she caused in my house. Buyer beware.DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR. They do not hold to their advertise product. Just like me you might get your carpet ruined

Paula and Eric are wonderful. They worked diligently to clean our carpet to my satisfaction, and I was really picky! We have 2 large dogs that can bring in a ton of dirt and I'm really happy with the results. Both Eric and Paula assured me that my pickiness was ok, and that they wanted their customer service to stand out amongst all the other providers, and it sure did. I will have them back next time.

Dan and Jake were very professional. They did a beautiful job cleaning our carpets. The carpet looks and smells better than it has in years.
