It is now fixed and works fine.

They were very friendly on the phone, acting like a small town business. They were prompt and easy to talk to. The plumber who came out had good advice, and "dos" and "dont's." They were very good. The price was fair.

Quick response - they arrived within an hour and did a good, thorough job. I have hired them in the past to remove roots from the main line (3rd time in five years) and would hire them again. Unless I dig up and replace the main line, this problem will recur every couple years.

I first used Midway a number of years ago and remembered they were a good company to deal with. Both Jan (12/29/05) and Cory (2/14/06) were very courteous, and they were careful of my new wood porch and steps as they moved their 300 lb. machine in and out of the house. Cory took the time to keep the surrounding area as clean as possible. In discussing this situation with others, I've learned that a 2nd visit can sometimes be necessary. Though I wish I hadn't needed it, I was pleased at their speedy arrival, their handling of the bill, and the plan to set up a regular maintenance schedule with them.

Workers were courteous and on time, but they left a big mess for me to clean up. They did not ask if we had an outdoor sewer entrance, which if they had, it would have made the job easier and probably reduce the fee.

HAVING THE SEWER PIPE UNCLOGGED WAS NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE, BUT WE ARE HAPPY THAT IT'S MOVING AGAIN.

They came out in a day, and it was excellent service.

Ron, the plumber, showed up a half an hour after I called. He was very polite and friendly, and they are reasonably priced.

Great experience! The plumber arrived as promised- 2 hours after my initial phone call. He cleaned out the sewer line and was very courteous and clean. He also had good tips on preventing future problems.

HE RESPONDED QUICKLY TO MY CALL. I THOUGHT HIS PRICE WAS A BIT HIGH, BUT HE SEEMED TO DO GOOD WORK.

They responded quickly and thoroughly checked the entire system for problems, and then cleared the problem quickly. They left quite a mess -- but got the job done.

THE WOMAN I SPOKE WITH ON THE PHONE TO SET UP THE APPT. WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, HELPFUL, AND COURTEOUS. GARY AND TRAINEE JUAN? ARRIVED WITHIN 1/2 HOUR OF PHONE CALL CONFIRMING SCHEDULED APPT. GARY CHECKED TO CONFIRM SCOPE OF WORK BEFORE GOING AHEAD AND TOOK TIME TO ANSWER ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS. BOTH WERE PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS AND CLEANED UP AFTERWARDS.

THE PERSON IN THE OFFICE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE WHEN I MADE THE APPOINTMENT. GARY and "APPRENTICE" JAN WERE VERY CAREFUL WITH EQUIPMENT and CLEAN IN MY HOME. GARY ANSWERED MANY QUESTIONS and ONLY DID WORK NECESSARY. I HAD 3 OTHER CONCERNS, and HE SAID HE WOULD NOT WASTE MY MONEY AT THIS TIME. HE OFFERED MANY SUGGESTIONS TO PREVENT PROBLEMS.

TWO WORKERS WERE HERE FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF, THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ARTICULATE AND I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE WITH THEM (ESPECIALLY AFTER HAVING A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH ROTO ROOTER A YEAR AGO). THEY TOOK EXTRA CARE TO NOT GET ANYTHING UPSTAIRS DIRTY WITH THEIR EQUIPMENT AND THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. I WOULD DEFINITELY CALL THEM AGAIN.

PROMPT SERVICE AT NON-OWNER OCCUPIED BUILDING. THEY WORKED WITH TENANT TO GET ACCESS AND FIX PROBLEM. FLEXIBLE AND REASONABLY PRICED.

I HIRED THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY QUOTED THEIR (REASONABLE) RATES OVER THE PHONE AND WERE ABLE TO ARRIVE THE NEXT MORNING. OTHER ANGIE'S LIST PROVIDERS WERE EITHER MORE EXPENSIVE OR LESS SPECIFIC ON THEIR RATES. RON ARRIVED EARLY AND FINISHED THE JOB QUICKLY. BECAUSE MY BASEMENT STEPS ARE SO NARROW, HE WASN'T ABLE TO GET HIS SEWER LINE MACHINE DOWNSTAIRS. INSTEAD, HE WAS ONLY ABLE TO CLEAN THE FLOOR DRAIN. HE SAID TO HAVE THE SEWER LINE CLEANED I'D NEED TO HIRE A COMPANY THAT HAS A ''BREAKDOWN MACHINE'', SO THEY COULD TAKE IT APART TO GET DOWN THE STEPS. THE ONLY COMPANY HE KNOWS OF THAT HAS THIS MACHINE IS ROTO-ROOTER. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH HIS PROFESSIONALISM AND THAT HE WAS WILLING TO RECOMMEND ANOTHER COMPANY TO FINISH MY JOB.

I FEEL THE PRICE WAS FAIR, BUT PROBABLY A BIT OVER AVERAGE. THE APPOINTMENT WAS SET PROMPTLY AND EASILY. THE STAFF ARRIVED ON TIME WITH THE PROPER EQUIPMENT. (DURING A PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE CLEANING THE SAME DRAIN A COMPETITOR DIDN'T HAVE THE PROPER LENGTH SNAKE TO CLEAR THE 2'' LINE.) THE OVERALL JOB WAS QUICKLY COMPLETED. I WOULD USE MIDWAY SEWER SERVICE CO. FOR OTHER DRAIN RELATED ISSUES.

MY BASEMENT DRAIN BACKED UP ON A SATURDAY. I WAS EXPECTING TO HAVE TO PAY MORE, BUT I GUESS I WASN'T EXPECTING THAT MUCH MORE. I HAD REVIEWED THE PRICES PAID BY OTHER CUSTOMERS BEFORE I CALLED, SOME DATING BACK A FEW YEARS, SO THE PRICE WOULD HAVE HAD TO HAVE RAISED. I DO THINK THE PRICE WAS FAIR FOR A SATURDAY. HE TOLD ME BY PHONE THAT HE WOULD CALL AFTER HIS CURRENT JOB WAS DONE AND HE DID AND CAME SHORTLY AFTER. I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED HOW QUICKLY HE FINISHED THE JOB. HE HAD A GREAT ATTITUDE DESPITE THE 'SNAKE' GETTING HUNG UP ON THE ROOTS AND HAVING TO TAKE THE TIME TO GET IT UNSTUCK. THE IMPORTANT THING IS IT'S FIXED! I WOULD DEFINITELY CALL THEM AGAIN.

THE SERVICE WAS PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL.

JEFFREY CLEANED OUT THE FLOOR DRAIN IN ABOUT 30 MINUTES. EVERYTHING WAS HANDLED PROMPTLY AND PERSONABLY. I THOUGHT THE PRICE SEEMED VERY FAIR.

QUICK, COURTEOUS RESPONSE. WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE AGAIN.

GAVE GOOD ADVICE ABOUT REPLACING THE PIPES UNDER THE SINK TO PREVENT OCCURRENCE OF THE PROBLEM.

THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME I''VE USED THIS SERVICE AND I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO CALL THEM AGAIN.

I NEED TO HAVE THIS TYPE OF THING DONE EVERY YEAR AND HAVE WORKED WITH SEVERAL COMPANIES. MIDWAY SEWER HAS DONE THE BEST JOB.
