He appeared quickly, honestly told us what was wrong, then fixed it for a reasonable price. Best plumbing experience ever. Will never use anyone else again.

They arrived promptly, and did the work well.

Good. Worker was a little messy was the only negative. Did not put boot protection on and got alot of sewer water on basement floor.

Work was done quickly and neatly. Work areas were cleaned up carefully before leaving A professional job from start to finish.

Service provider was very skilled, cleaned up the area great when finished, and explained how our system works and exactly what he was doing. Will definitely call them again when/if the need arises.

Very smoothly: they came out quickly on a Saturday afternoon. I can't recall the service-man's name, but he was very good at explaining what the issue was, took care of it quickly, cleaned up, and the price was just what was quoted. Would gladly use their services again.

Never was able to talk to anyone but the gal who answers the phone. I called before hours to leave a message of wht the problem was. Had asked about evening or Saturday service. Ask to be called at work and left phone as well as home information. I didn't hear back from them by 11:30 so i called again. I said who I was and that I had left a message earlier. She asked me if I didn't get her message. I said not at work and asked if she had called the house instead. She said yes. They don't do evening or Saturday service. She said someone could come on Tuesday. I said I was unable to have service that day. I explained I worked in Eagan and lived on the north end of St Paul. She told that was ok, they would call me 30 minutes before they would come to the house so "you" would have time to get there by the time they would get there. I guess she thinks everyone can just leave their jobs suddenly. I said I would not be able to do that. She said there was a guy the lived in Eagan and takes a vehicle home. She thought maybe he would be able to stop after hours on his time to do it. I asked if there would be an extra charge. She told me it would be regular rate. She said she would give him my name and number. She asked what time I would be home. I said that night I would be home by 6, that I had to work late but usually home by 4:45. She told me she would have him call me. When I got home I check my home phone, no message from her number and their phone number was not in the call log. Not sure who she called. I was working outside and took the phone with me so I wouldn't miss the call. No phone calll. Thursday after 8 am I called to make sure she had the right phone number. I told her that was why I was calling as there was no message and no "sign" she had called. She read off the right phone number and said she had not talked to the technician yet. No phone call again Thursday night. Called again on Friday hoping to talk to the gentleman who did the same work for my sister. She told me he ws not there and asked if she could take a message. I said she might be able to answer my question. On their message she said if you are calling in the evening and it is an emergency to leavethT on your message. I asked who they referred people to. She asked if it was I calling I said yes. She said they don't refer people to anyone. They would do the work but there would be an after hour extra charge. I said that I guess they weren't to interested in my business. She claimed they were, but did not offer any solution. She said that my sister didn't have a problem being at home when they came during the day that I should le to do the same. I wished I had said I don't work from home e4 days a week like she does. I guess she thinks I have the same job as my sister. I wanted to support a local small business but this definitely is not the one I would support. ?

I have used Midway several times to clear tree roots over the last couple of years. This time I needed the line cleared so I could re-schedule a city inspection. He explained that going through the smaller line in the laundry room would not be as effective and that using the main line (in the basement floor) would work best. As this has been mentioned several times before, I agreed to cutting the carpet to gain access. Turns out it wasn't where I thought it was so he cut the carpet twice (where I thought it was and where it actually was), which would have been OK if he had mentioned the change to me instead of just explaining how to cover the hole. The real problem, though, is that when I went outside the next day I found the carpet and padding he removed had been tossed in the grass on the far side of my garage. Dumping garbage in my yard is a deal-breaker for me, so I won't be using them again. Also, the lack of professionalism now has me wondering whether the work was done properly. As for my "Responsiveness" rating, although the voicemail gives very specific information about when they'll return the call (same or next business day), I don't think they've ever actually called me back once; instead, I wait a day or two and have to call back until I actually reach someone.

Gary came right on time. Removed trap in bathroom sink and fixed small basin drain. Was very pleasant and informative.

I noticed some water backing up from the floor drain in my basement and I knew that meant either the city sewer was clogged or my sewer pipe was clogged. I called the city, they came and checked the sewer under the street outside my house, and did not find anything wrong. The next day I called Midway Sewer Service in the morning and they put me on the schedule for later that day. Gary arrived in the afternoon and brought his equipment into the basement. He worked hard to ream out the sewer pipe three times, which removed a bundle of tree roots that had penetrated the pipe. My house was built in 1938, so the sewer line inside the house is three inches in diameter with the access at a right angle to the pipe, so he was unable to do as good a job as he would normally do because he could not get his larger cutting head into the pipe. I'm not sure it's possible to do this job without making a mess, but a mess was certainly made. Although he rinsed the floor, gunk from his equipment somehow got splattered all over that area of the utility room. I spent several hours over the next few days cleaning and disinfecting that area of the utility room, the stairs leading from the kitchen down to the basement, and the kitchen floor.

After arriving as schedule I explained the issues that were occurring and he assessed the problem which I agreed with since I had already tried what I could with what was available for the general consumer. He uncapped the drain cap, turned the water on until it backed up in the floor drain then shut it off and proceeded with the claw auger on the snake to 100' which unclogged the drain somewhere along the way, he then ran the double sided auger blade that is about the size of the pipe again 100' to insure that it would be clear. We then filled the bathtub half way, basement sink, bathroom sinks and let them all drain at once, we also flushed all toilets mind you all at the same time to insure that the pipe was clear (it better be) and to flush the drain completely. Needless to say it was clear with no back up with the amount of water that was running down all drains. It was the best $168.00 I has spent in a long time! As a home owner you would understand this when you have been trying to do this yourself for about 2-3 weeks with out success.

I came home late on a Friday afternoon after being away for 2 months for the military. I did a load of laundry and when I went down to check on it my basement was flooding! I called Midway Sewer someone was here within no time at all. Very professional on a Friday night, even let me watch and explained what was happening. Would call again if ever in need. How do I give an A+?

Drain was backing up. Called Midway and got an appointment for the next day (I said it wasn't urgent and could live with it for a day). They arrived on time, checked and cleaned out the drain and gave good advice on what to do and not do in the future. Very professional, will use them again when necessary.

After a punishing winter, my kitchen drain froze due to dripping water from my reverse osmosis drinking water system. I called one company and they were unable to clear the drain and left charging me $150. I called Midway and they worked me into their schedule and had the right equipment (a steamer) to clear the drain. It took a long time to steam out the pipe but they stayed until it was fixed. I was desperate for somebody to help and they were friendly, reliable, professional and reasonably priced.

I was really pleased that they don't do that and quot;we will be there sometime todayand quot; thing that so many companies do. They simply said they would call when the service person was on the way, which they did, so I didn't have to sit around waiting. Service person was efficient and professional.

We noticed slow drainage in the bathtub and a gurgling sound coming from the main drain to the sewer, located in our basement. Phoned Midway Sewer first thing this morning, they had a technician at our home within 30-40 minutes. He performed the work quickly and professionally and the drainage problems and gurgling sound are gone. We have had very different service from other competitors in this field -- Midway Sewer was honest and didn't try to bill us or scare us with unnecessary add-ons or services. Will use again.

The technician showed up promptly, assessed the situation, and cleared the drain quickly using the most economical way available. He explained clearly what he had done and charged very reasonably.

Arrived on time, they were efficient about what they did, and when they left the drain worked well. I don't remember exact date of service in the fall or exact price, but I felt the price was very reasonable.

We called Todd on New Years day and he even though it was a holiday and he was swamped with calls he was able to come out and snake our main line.. Once he got us flowing he recommended to us that we have him come back the next day and finish up to save us some money and so he could finish the job properly and get all the tree roots out! I would highly recommend and will use in the future. Thanks Todd!

I couldn't be more pleased!! I called at 9:00 a.m. Service provider arrived a little after 11:00 a.m.; job was finished a little after noon.

Scheduling was simple. Provider was available on the day I called. provider arrived on schedule. Problem was solved in a professional, workmanlike fashion.

He did a great job, very thorough, and explained things well. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and nice.

I had a sewer back up into my basement. I thought the blockage was in my discharge line but it turned out to be in the main sewer in the street. Before I knew that the back up was a city problem I called Midway and talked to Todd. He said he would be out as soon as possible, this was at 7 in the evening. He got to my house in less than an hour. When he got there I told him the city was coming to clean the sewers. He waited until the city crews arrived and talked to them while they worked. When the sewers were cleaned out Todd had information as who to call from the city the next day. The service call charge was very reasonable. I'm sure that this took up more than two hours of his time.

I got very good service and had a nice clean video of it. They showed up on time, and did what they were supposed to do. They accommodated my needs.

Because roots get into my sewer line and clog things up, I used to have Midway come out on a regular basis every 18-24 months. (I usually find out I need Midway's help when water starts coming back up from my basement floor drain.) However, I hadn't had this done for a while. On 11/19 I found water on the floor while washing clothes, and Midway was able to come out later that same morning! Even though they bring in a huge, heavy machine to do the work, they are always very careful of my wooden porch steps and other woodwork. It took a good while to clear things out, but everthing was left very neat and tidy once done.
