Midway was able to schedule a visit based on my availabilty, which I really appreciate. When Scott came out he took care of it, and the sink has drained well since then (hurrah!).

My kitchen drain line plugged up some distance beyond my ability to reach due to some sharp bends. Called at 10AM, done by noon!

They cleaned up beautifully and did a great job. The price was very reasonable also.

The main drain pipe in my kitchen plugged up, backing up my sink, garbage disposal, bar sink and dishwasher. I called about 5:30 PM and was able to talk to someone directly. I asked that they come out the following morning, and they were able to be there and solve the problem before 9 AM. Personable and professional both on the phone and in person.

Very simple. Called to make appt for non-emergent drain cleaning. Scheduled first appoint of the day. Came on time, augered the drain, got it draining right again. Easy to work with.

Very quick efficient. The technician knew exactly what to do.

The excavating company could not find the sewer line while digging to find it in my yard. The excavating company called Midway to bring out some locating equipment to help find the sewer line. Midway came out and performed the work and stated they knew exactly where the sewer line was and marked it with a rock. The excavating company told me that two sections of my front sidewalk would have to be removed to get to the sewer line. They started digging where Midway told them to and still couldn't find the sewer line. The excavating company called another locating company and they came out and found the exact spot where the sewer line was and it was at least six feet away from where Midway said it was and my sidewalk wasn't anywhere near the line. I felt that Midway should pay for the replacement of my sidewalk $600 but they refused and only gave me back what it cost me to have them come out and do the work and $100 more saying they were sorry. I believe they should pay for the sidewalk repair and they have refused that. They misrepresented their company by claiming they knew how to use the locating equipment.

They were recommended to me by my plumber. They were good and very helpful. They were nice and quick. They came with a camera and scoped it out. It was very nice overall. They were very responsive and very good. You can trust them and they are very reliable.

Midway arrived the next day, rolled out the snake and went to work. The clog was way down the system but was located and broken. The fellow gave me some pointers on preventing these problems in the future which I appreciated.

Called on Monday and got estimate of time they might be here. Ron called before arriving and took care of problem quickly and professionally. We would use them again.

I met Steve on his hands and knees taking the pipes apart. I did not want to bother him so I left him alone. A half hour or so later he informed me he was finished and told me what the problem was. Didn't cost much even though it probably took him an hour to get here.

See above. Work was done well, quickly and neatly.

I called, they asked me for basic details. They said someone could be out within an hour (Fri afternoon). He arrived as promised, rang the bell, made the drain work, and was done in under 30 min.

They came out and tried to fix it. After they came it was working for about 2 weeks and then it backed up again. They came again on Dec. 21 and fixed it again. They had to come back again on Dec. 29 for a third time. They also came back on Dec. 30th they put in a snake so that I would be able to use the plumbing in my home and then they informed me that I needed to call a plumber with a camera to go down and see if there was a cracked pipe. They recommended a plumber who could offer this type of service. At this point they had done what they could to try to fix it. I felt they did what they could and they kept trying which impressed me.

One morning I went downstairs and their was some water around the floor drains that wasn't draining or draining really slowly. I called around 9AM and they were there by 11. He spent about 3 hours cleaning the drain and everything worked well after the cleaning. About three weeks later it backed up again and he resnaked it and didn't charge--he said that the pipe had probably collapsed and recommended we call a plumber to put a camera in. The workman was very professional and competent as were the office staff I spoke with on the phone.

We were called when he was on his way, and he was here within a half hour. He retrieved his equipment and was here for about 45 minutes to clean the drain from the laundry room to the sewer. He was efficient and professional and suggested something we could do to prevent lint from getting into the drain and having to have it clean on a yearly basis. All in all, very positive experience.

As a brand-new homeowner, you don't want your painter to call you from the house and say, "Your sewer is backing up." He recommended I call Midway Sewer, and within 30-45 minutes, they were at my house going to work. They popped the access caps on the line and fished the debris out, then power snaked the line, and even helped clean up afterward. They were top notch, and while I hope to never see them again, except for routine root removal in two years, they turned an unpleasant experience into something reasonably enjoyable.

The plumber arrived early within the time window they gave me. He was polite, professional and unclogged the drain within an hour. He gave me advice on preventing drain clogs in the future. He also took a quick look and gave me tips on a small issue with my toilet.

Fast and effective service. Clean drain and removed clog. Didn't do more than was neccessary, recommended some minor fixes that I could contribute as a home-owner and advised what to do to prevent clogging.

Very responsive and quick. Phone manner was all business, very assertive.

I woke up to a clogged drain (kitchen sink and laundry tubs); checked Angie's list, found Midway Sewer, called at 8 AM - Cory was here by 8:20 and finished within an hour; he diagnosed the drain problem (clogged up with years of crud about 20 feet down the line), cleaned the drain, tested the draining speed of the sink and laundry tubs, gave me advice for maintaining the drain, cleaned up and left. Very professional, very pleasant, very efficient, very tidy, very reasonable. What more could you ask for?

Scheduling the appointment was great. I called on a Monday afternoon and they told me they could send someone out right away but if it wasn't an emergency they could send someone the next morning and avoid overtime charges. The office called me in the morning to tell me they were on their way. Two gentlemen from Midway Sewer arrived by 8.30 and got right to work. Snaking whatever tool it is they use apparently takes a long time. They worked from 8.30 until 11 but I think they were trying to make sure they were getting through the sewer as far as they could. What I most appreciated about their service was once they confirmed that the blockage was where our drain met the street, they called the city sewer department for me and told them about the problem and asked for them to send someone out. They placed marks on the street where they believed our sewer blockage was so the city would know. I feel having Midway Sewer call them directly helped us get our issue moved along with the city since it was a "professional" calling in the complaint. Midway let me know that the city was looking into it and if the city had caused the damage, we could possibly get reimbursed for the expense. They also informed me that there was some standing water in our sewer and that televising our sewer, which is often the next step, would probably not get us a very clear picture. I appreciated this information because it did save us time and money since that is exactly the next step the city water department wanted us to take. Calling the City on our behalf was really great customer service.

They were great. It wasn't urgent, but after we called to schedule an appointment late Monday afternoon, they showed up at 8am on Tuesday. The job was a little tricky, but finished within 40 minutes. He cleared the drain and gave me advice on what to do in the future. (Even recommended that we shouldn't have to pay someone to do the same job in the future.) Honest, punctual, reasonable rate... We'll use them again.

I called Ron just after 5pm to come clear my blocked drain. He was on site by 7:30, was very personable and clearly understood the plumbing in my house and how to fix it. He provided helpful information on some repairs I could do myself to improve the existing problems in my drain system. The work was done in a clean, neat, and professional manner. I assigned a "B" grade for professionalism, only because it was like having a friend come over and help out, without much professional remoteness; some customers might not appreciate that but I did.

Called on the way, arrived on time, worked efficiently, was thorough, cleaned up after himself and was courteous.
