Excellent!
Description of Work: Maid Brigade cleans my house every two weeks and they do a great job! From dusting to scrubbing floors, the house is very clean when they are done and it takes the 2 of them only 2 hours or so to complete it! I love that they use green cleaning products and have an automatic payment process. And there feedback process (they leave an evaluation/comment card after every cleaning) is a great way to give/receive immediate feedback.

The initial cleaning was very good, but the very next cleaning was entirely inadequate. A different team was sent to do the second cleaning and they were not thorough or careful. I was promised the same cleaning team, yet over the last three months I don't think I've ever seen the same team. Although I am scheduled for afternoons, yesterday the team arrived in the morning. After the second cleaning and the complaints that I made, I was told I by Brenda in customer service she would request a refund. Weeks went by before I found out what the refund would be - and it turned out to be $20. Communication from customer service is terrible.
Description of Work: Biweekly cleaning of 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath house.

My expectation, when I paid $335 for a cleaning service, was that the cleaning crew would make things sparkle, and do a better job cleaning that I would have been able to do myself. So, I was disappointed when I found things that appeared to not have been cleaned very well, and required re-cleaning by myself. They seemed to just get things superficially clean. There were a lot of things that I had to ask them to reclean when they were here, and this got tiresome (over 10 things). They were nice girls, and very respectful. I liked them - I just didn't think that they did as good of job cleaning as I expected. That said, I have spoken with someone who followed up on the phone with me earlier this week. We have a re-clean scheduled for next Friday afternoon. Another gripe I have is that I requested the crew wear protective coverings over their shoes, as I was in the process of having new carpets installed. They did not do so.
Description of Work: I had a 2-person crew clean my entire house before we moved into it. They were to clean floors, vacuum entire house, dust all woodwork, remove cobwebs from walls & ceilings, clean showers/baths, clean toilets, clean windows, clean inside & out of all cupboards/drawers.

Quinten returned my call almost immediately. He came out a couple of days later to give me a quote. I live in a 1,600 sq. ft. home. They were set up to come out the following Monday at 10:00 a.m. and they were very punctual. They sent over 3 ladies to do the job and it took them approximately 4 hours. They started in the basement cleaning the dust and cobwebs from my laundry/storage room. They cleaned the window sills and trim boards in the basement family room and laundry. They also washed all floorings, recessed lights and vacuumed the carpets. The kitchen was thoroughly cleaned including my stainless steel appliances. They washed all the hardwood floors and dusted the walls and furniture. All in all they were very professional and obviously well trained. I have never seen the house this clean, I couldn't be happier with the job performed.
Description of Work: I hired them to thoroughly clean my house so it could be put on the market. I wanted everything cleaned from the unfinished laundry room to the master bedroom. I wanted all ceilings cleared of cobwebs and trim boards dusted. I wanted all hardwood floors washed and recessed lighting sockets cleaned. In general I wanted a complete clean of the entire house from top to bottom and after that a general clean once per week.

I am dissatisfied with their work. I just can't seem to get them to do specific things I ask for. I have a feeling that their employees aren't trained. They are nice enough, but they just don't seem to know what they're doing.

I have had MB working for me for almost a year. I found them through the yellow pages. Once I got on Angie's list however, I decided to look for alternatives, and I am SO GLAD! I was very unhappy with Maid Brigade. They sent out different crews each week, so the work was inconsistent. Some weeks I came home and could not tell at first if they had been there or not, and that's not good! I was so busy that I felt my hands were tied, until I got Angie's List. Now I have a new company through Angie's List (AL) that is much better and much cheaper. I have made my AL subscription money back by making this one change in service! Bye bye Maid Brigade and thank you Angie's List!

We were very disappointed for the following reasons: 1.) Cleaning quality was not up to our expectations. Items were missed or not completely cleaned, we would still find crumbs on the counters or lint on the carpets after the service. Often times the bathroom floor was not cleaned, and we don t think the walls around the tub were properly cleaned. Corners that could not be easily reached with a vacuum cleaner were not cleaned either. We always had to spend time cleaning after the service. 2.) Customer service unreliable: We called to reschedule once 2 days ahead of time due to a water shut-off and the team came anyway. 3.) Issue resolution slow: We had to complain about slippery floors multiple times until action was taken. 4.) It took 1 of us 4 hours to clean our home, and we don t believe that a 2 person team can be done with the same amount of cleaning in the same quality within 45 minutes.
Description of Work: Weekly cleaning of 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, living room, dining room, hallways. Flooring was carpet, hardwood, and tile. Used company's service for a number of months. We changed to Maid Brigade after unreliable service by another company. We thought the Franchise would ensure excellent cleaning quality and reliability.

THEY SEND DIFFERENT PEOPLE EACH TIME, SO WHEN THEY COME I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE WHOLE THING AGAIN WITH NEW ONES AND SHOW THEM WHAT IS TO BE DONE, WHICH IS NOT AT ALL CONVENIENT FOR ME. I HAD TROUBLE FOR A WHILE ABOUT GETTING THEM TO COME AT THE RIGHT TIME, BUT THEY HAVE BEEN BETTER ABOUT THAT AFTER I COMPLAINED. I HAVEN'T BEEN HAPPY AND AM GOING TO DISCONTINUE THEIR SERVICE.

Service was mediocre at best. Very inconsistent cleaning, some rooms were missed all together. Bathroom was basically skimmed through...not sure the shower/tub were cleaned at all. Spoke with cust. service rep a couple times and also sent in comment cards letting them know of missed areas and incomplete work - they assured me that the missed areas would be taken care of next time around, which never happened...I had to clean the house after our housecleaners were there - very annoying! Cancelled service after a couple months.

SO FAR MOST EVERYTHING IS GOING WELL. THEY GUARANTEE THEIR WORK, IF YOU LET THEM KNOW YOU AREN'T SATISFIED, THEY WILL COME BACK. THE LAST TIME THEY WERE HERE, THEY FORGOT TO CLEAN THE DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM, BUT THEY USUALLY DO A GOOD JOB. THEY HAVE CARDS THEY LEAVE EACH TIME THAT IDENTIFY EACH AREA CLEANED AND WHO HAD CLEANED IT, ALONG WITH A SURVEY OF HOW THEY DID. SO FAR THEY HAVE DONE A GOOD JOB.

OVERALL, I WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. THE QUALITY STARTED OUT OKAY BUT DECLINED OVER TIME, TO THE POINT WHERE, IN THE END, WHOLE ROOMS WERE BEING SKIPPED. THEY LEFT ''QUALITY CARDS'' EACH TIME TO ASK ABOUT THE SERVICE BUT FAILED TO RESPOND WHEN I INDICATED THAT IT WAS POOR AND WANTED TO TALK WITH SOMEONE ABOUT IT. I FINALLY SENT BACK A CARD TELLING THEM TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT. AFTER THAT, I LEFT A SERIES OF PHONE MESSAGES THAT WERE NEVER RETURNED. I CLEARLY INDICATED MY DISSATISFACTION BUT WAS NOT RUDE AND WAS OPEN TO DISCUSSION ABOUT WAYS TO MAKE AMENDS. JULIE, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP, DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO CALL ME BACK. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ORGANIZATION.
Description of Work: MAID BRIGADE CLEANED MY HOUSE EVERY TWO WEEKS FOR ABOUT A YEAR. THEY SENT GROUPS OF DIFFERENT PEOPLE TO CLEAN EACH TIME, SO THERE WAS NO CONSISTENCY OR ''MEMORY'' OF THE JOB. THE QUALITY VARIED DRAMATICALLY. THEY DID NOT DO THINGS THAT I CONSIDER BASIC, SUCH AS MOPPING THE WOOD FLOORS EACH TIME. THEY WERE GENERALLY ON TIME. I HAVE A VERY SMALL HOUSE, SO $85 IS A LOT TO PAY EVERY TWO WEEKS FOR LOW-QUALITY CLEANING.
