Kok Lee Plumbing

We had a clog in our bathtub drain. Kok came over four times over the course of six days and guided us through the process (we've got 100-year old lead plumbing that was alarmingly complicated) so we could fix it ourselves. Kok couldn't clear the drain, so we did end up hiring an expert snake guy, referred by Kok, who cleared our drain on a Sunday morning for $89. Kok charged us nothing for his time and advice. Amazing.

A+ plumber that I will use for all my plumbing needs while I am in Minneapolis. Replaced plumbing from basement to second story with little turn around. Installed my stove and dishwasher. Installed my sink downstairs. Love Kok and would recommend him and his worker in a heartbeat. Now I wish I could just take him with when I move to a new city.

The bathtub faucet replacement took approximately three hours, and we are happy with the result. Everything works fine. Parts (faucet, shower handle, copper pipe etc.) cost about $130 and labor about $370. We don't have plumbing work done very often so I don't know if that was a good deal or not, which is why I marked N/A in the price column above. When Kok Lee came by himself the second time to adjust the toilet that I had forgotten was dripping, he did not charge us for that service call. He did mention Angies List as he was leaving, though, which to me meant that he was very focused on building his reputation as someone who does quality work at a reasonable price.

It went very well. It was a difficult installation because the kitchen sink was deep and there was little space to install the faucet. He and Doug got it completed. They both have a great sense of humor and are a pleasure to have around.

Replaced kitchen faucet and was able to see a problem with the drain (that was causing a slow leak and did his best to fix it. Didn't even charge us extra, even though it took him a very long time. Very polite, considerate, took shoes off when entering and just a nice person who is honest. Does his best to save you money, won't tell you to replace something unless it really needs to be fixed. Kok Lee is worth his weight in gold. I will always hire him for plumbing, no one else!

Kok was very helpful, provided an upfront estimate, was on-time, did an excellent job, and was very cost-effective. He is my go-to plummer from now on!!!

I did not use the Big Deal because I ended up breaking my ankle and was recovering from surgery. I did contact Angie's List and received a refund.

Recommended I purchase new faucet and told me where to purchase it. Instead I bought just the part at Loews and replaced Just the nrolen part. Next time I would prefer the plumber get the faucet and install it w/o me having to run around town to find the replacement faucet.

Kok came and gave a free estimate. He was prompt and professional. He then came 2 days later to replace the valve and did a beautiful job. His prices were very reasonable and his work is outstanding. We will definitely hire again for our plumbing needs.

Kok does great work. We were having a new gas stove delivered and were quoted a plumber cost of almost $300 from Home Depot and they would not tell us the name of the contractor so we could check. We have used Kok before and appreciated his work and integrity so we decided to call him and if the cost was the same we were fine as we knew we would have a professional we trusted. Kok came to our home prior to the delivery to ensure there were no issues and disconnected the gas line so they new stove could be delivered. He then came back after the delivery to install and replaced the one gas hose. His fee was far below Home Depot's and he ensured everything was working and we were happy. Would use him again for any other plumbing issue.

All the great reviews are true. Kok first me an estimate and explained exactly what they would do and why. He and Doug made the repair and came in $200 under the estimate because they didn't need to move the clawfoot tub. It's in a tricky location, so they had to go above and beyond to fix the hardware without moving the tub. I would gladly recommend them to family and friends.

I talked to one of Mr. Lee's associates Friday afternoon, the 20th. He was polite and offered to come out on the weekend to deal with a clogged sink. I told him I was busy, and we agreed on 5:00 pm on Monday. When he didn't show up I called at 5:30, and he couldn't recall anything. He said I never gave him my address(B.S.). He said I was supposed to call Monday morning; more nonsense. So he is either a fine actor, or a spacey guy. In any event, after this I didn't want to bother with another try.

I was very pleased. He explained to me what was causing the trouble. Went and got a part to fix the tub spout. Also gave me answers on other issues I asked about. Also recommended that I have washer hoses checked and replaced at a later date as this was not part of this visit.

Mr. Lee and his partner were very prompt. Came the 1st visit to a**** the job. No charge for that visit. I had brought the faucet already They explained what they would do and that it could take longer than the 2 hrs on the big deal which me me a bit nervous. They came back on the scheduled day and went to work. It took less than the 2 hours. I was only charged for the additional parts which was about 12-20 bucks. the faucet works well, no further leaking, looks great. Looking at the fitting in the wall It is much more secure and neat than what the previous plumber had done. I am very satisfied with the work and will use them in the future.

Well. He did only what was needed. Originally I thought we needed more work but he said extensive work was not needed. The flush works fine now, so he must have been right.

Arrived on time and performed the services for the agreed upon price.

It went very well. He came to do an assement on the situation, it was a bit of an emergency. Looked at everything, gave me an estimate and schedule a time. My house is an older home so he brought that part of the plumbing up-to-code. What needed fixing was original plumbing. It took less time to fix which was nice. Shower drain is working great! We had discussed the bathroom sink drain too and with all the stuff going on on the Saturday he was fixing, I forgot to remind that we had that to fix as well. I will have to call him back to fix that and probably a few other items. Very nice, very polite and very professional!

Kok was great. As a new homeowner, I was a little nervous going with a solo operation and not a regular plumbing firm, but the reviews here were so solid I gave it a try. Happy I did. Kok stopped by the Friday before to look over the job, gave an estimate, and returned Monday to work. He made multiple trips to the store to get the necessary parts, but charges no mark up on supplies (he shows you the receipt to make this clear). Kok was great to work with; a very pleasant guy. Honored Angie's List coupon as well. I'll be using him again for any plumbing/gas needs.

Mr. Lee was professional and personable. He was flexible enough to repair other problems in addition to the original issue. He use someone else to assist with the repairs after his diagnosis of the problems and that person was competent. Mr. Lee was a delight to work with.

Showed up on time, got right to work since I only had him for 2 hours, and was very respectful of my home (took off his shoes even though I told him he didn't have to). He was extremely efficient, fixing 2 sinks and a toilet adjustment all in about an hour. When I first realized I had a plumbing problem I was worried it would be hundreds of dollars to fix but thankfully this special got everything taken care of with time to spare! Kok Lee was wonderful and told me to call him if something didn't work out so he could fix it again and I feel good about all the work he did.
