KITCHENS MADE SIMPLE

Description of Work: After doing the 3D rendering of a bathroom remodel - and turning a sitting room into a walk-in closet - we decided to go forward with the project. They removed the walls of the existing closets to expand the master bathroom. They built a large shower with travertine tiles - also used on the floors - and installed a gorgeous vanity with double sinks with matching mirrors. They also installed a large cabinet for towels, etc. The existing tub was replaced and moved to a corner tub. The popcorn ceiling was replaced with a knockdown (?) ceiling and the ceiling fan was replaced with a more powerful fan. They also did the ceilings in the master bedroom and the new closet and painted all three rooms. They installed a beautiful closet system in the new master closet. One issue I have with the closet is that they did not line up the top cupboard openings with the door openings below it - so it is off by a couple of inches. They also wanted me to be ok with a mirror that I saw them break the frame when taking it out of the box. I caught them gluing it back together the next day and they thought that was acceptable for a $400 mirror. I then felt I had to keep an eye on the little details - although I was told by one of the contractors that that was very unusual and that the project manager was usually very picky about things. Maybe he got as sick of the remodel as I was as it started mid-April and finished early July. I have a much smaller bathroom I would like remodeled and will most likely call them again.

Description of Work: We met to talk through a plan which they said they would send. I received the plan after a number of months and me requesting it (5-6 mnths later?). When I received it the plan was the earlier version, not the final one that we had discussed.

Description of Work: The staff at KMS was purely professional. I am a former contractor and probably a pretty harsh judge and yet KMS came through on all fronts - a very fair bid, good communication and excellent followup. I would recommend them to anyone considering a kitchen remodeling project.

Description of Work: I purchased a kitchen design consult (including plans to keep) that ended up consisting of a computer generated refacing of my existing cabinets, a design that included no measurements, and multiple interruptions during the course of the consultation. The only notice they took of my hopes for the space was to make the imagined cabinets grey.

Description of Work: KMS came to our home for a bathroom remodel consult, took measurements of our existing master bath and confirmed our expectations of a new design. Within a week we met at KMS with the designer, who provided us with very detailed possibilities on our remodel. Currently unable to move forward with these plans we do however hope to work with KMS in the near future on installation of a expanded and more functional master bath. Highly recommend!

Description of Work: We took advantage of the Angie's List Deal and we used the information as part of our process of getting bids to remodel our kitchen. Even though we have decided not to use this company to do the work, they were very professional in their presentation and information we gathered was extremely helpful in comparision shopping.

We then sent up an appointment to look at the kitchen that they had designed for us and talked more about specifics of the design. We then had a third meeting at their office to go over prices. They were very helpful and listened to all of our wants and designed a kitchen that met all of the needs we had.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for $49 for Custom Kitchen Design with Measurements and Full Set of Plans.

Description of Work: Bought a big deal kitchen plan from Angie's list. They came out measured my kitchen and gave me a detailed set of plans.

Description of Work: Contacted provider. We scheduled a date for them to come out and take pictures and measurements and discuss the project. That portion went well. Then I was contacted to come in and see what the designer came up with for the project. I reviewed the design and it was all wrong. I had told all the details and issues to the guy who came to measure but the designer laid it out all wrong. Measurements were wrong. I reworked it with the designer and she was going to send me the plans and 3D rendering of the project. I never got them! I had to call back and found out the designer had left a couple weeks earlier. I was assigned to another person. Who sent me the plans but they were the wrong ones. They were the original design that was wrong. I called back and the newer ones were sent to me. Just the plan, but again the dimensions were wrong on the room. I called in again and the designer was going to change them and rescale the plans and also send me the 3D rendering. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING FROM THEM! This was a complete waist of time and money. If their designer left, someone dropped the ball on the hand off of work she was doing!! I would prefer to have my money refunded because I never received the service I bought and I will not use these guys.
