Description of Work: Completed a comprehensive survey of our property only a few days after the initial call and estimate. Very impressive, very professional and reasonable cost. Would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Kemper & Associates provided a comprehensive land survey of my residence in Edina. The old survey was almost 50-years old, when the house was built. It also did not show all of the topology change from the front to back, street offset requirements etc. The land borders a creek and surrounding wetland. I needed an updated survey because my house, and my neighbor's house were build much closer to each other than current building codes allow, and as a result I am unable to obtain a city permit to remodel and extend the footprint of my house without an updated survey. Kemper & Associate completed the work on time, as promised (delivered in 3-weeks). They were also useful in providing me a full understanding of the extent of my land in the backyard, which abuts the wetland. As a result of this survey I was also able to discover that my correct land boundary with my neighbor to the west extended almost 2-feet beyond the existing fence. Overall, I am completely pleased with their work, professionalism and timeliness. Mark has also been very helpful in providing me additional advice regarding (1) what to do, and not do, on the portion of the property that borders the wetland, keeping in mind environmental rules and considerations, (2) how to best correct the property line problem with the neighbor to the west, and (3) appropriate process to use in remodeling with extending the house's footprint given closeness to one neighbor's house (fire safety exterior protection, proper design for rain water runoff from the house etc.). Highly recommended without any reservation.

Description of Work: I asked for a surveyed of my residential property after a neighbor landscaped a berm on my property. Kemper and Associates did exactly what they said they would do. They were responsive and on schedule. I called during their busy season. They said they would get to me in about 3-4 weeks. I said that was okay, because I was in a position to wait. They came 20 days after I called and surveyed. I had the plats within a week.

Description of Work: I was impressed by the professionalism and confidence expressed by the team. The final surveys were very impressive and I even had one framed. I was especially thankful how helpful they were in explaining the surprise development of border issues with my neighbors. I highly recommend their services.

Description of Work: Surveyed two lots to provide plat to get approval to combine the lots and vacate an easement. Kemper did an excellent job doing the surveying and assisting me in getting the plat approved and filed. He provided quotes for doing staking of house and elevation drawings. My contractor who is building the house preferred to use his surveyor for those tasks. Since his surveyor was lower cost and preferred by contractor I told Kemper I would like the electronic files used to create the plat. Kemper refused to provide them. The new surveyor did the additional work at no extra charge. It seems unprofessional not to provide files to make the job easier for another surveyor.

Description of Work: Kemper & Associates surveyed our lot, which was complicated due to the lot containing two property identification numbers. Kemper responded promptly, and finished the survey on time even though we experienced a cold snap in the weather and it snowed. Kemper did a fantastic job and provided a great workproduct. We would use them again if needed.
